Chapter 02 - The Beginning of Reincarnation

"mmm.... It's a very easy choice. I chose to live again in my old world!"

The girl just silently heard Izuru's reply. Then Izuru asked, "why are you just quiet?"

"Sorry, I can't do that. There are few obstacles at the moment, therefore you cannot reincarnate into your old world. The only thing you can do is reincarnation in a fantasy world."

"If so why did you give 2 choices?"

"There's no need for further ado, since your choice is only one so there's no other way but to send you into a fantasy world." The girl said with a flat face, then a light appeared around Izuru and slowly she started flying.

"Wait for what I'm gonna do there and don't you give me any gear?" Ask Izuru getting up.

"You can be anything you want, but you have to do it on your own" replied the girl from below.

"I have one more question, what's your name?"

"I don't need to know my name, because we might never see each other again."

"Yes, you're right." The light around Izuru was getting brighter until it was dazzling and suddenly it moved into a dark room with light radiating from a direction.

"Where is this? Is that the way out?" Izuru asked then walked towards that light, and walked out of the room and saw the world unfold as far as the eye could see. Forests, mountains, rivers, all of them were there with strange and amazing animals flying in the air.

"This is really a fantasy world? Wait, where's the city!?" Izuru asked frantically and looked around at a very steep cliff, behind him was a tree with a hole in the middle of its trunk, it seemed like it was where Izuru came out.

Izuru continued to search for the nearest city from its current location.

"That's it! But it seems so far away, let alone me having to get off this cliff.

This is the beginning of Izuru's journey to become a hero. But before that he had to face a very important thing first, namely survival.

Long story short Izuru tried to get off the cliff carefully, although several times fell. After that through the forest, but only half the journey he was tired and was resting under a tree.

"Well... It's exhausting." Said Izuru sitting leaning under a tree in the dense forest, and now her stomach was ringing.

"I'm hungry. It's a forest, there must be a lot of fruit growing here." Izuru stood up and then looked around looking for something to eat in the forest.

"No one, I've given up! I will definitely die here...! Uh what is that?" Izuru saw something lying on the ground, he walked up to her and it was.

"Waa...!? This corpse? Wait a minute, he seems to be carrying a lot of stuff in his bag." Izuru said surprised to see the corpse of a man lying in the forest.

But after seeing the man's bag that looked full Izuru immediately ignored what he saw earlier and focused on the man's bag. Izuru took the bag out of the man's hand slowly and when it opened.

"Wahh....!! Food, I'm really lucky! Wait, can I steal from the dead? Ah stupid, I just lived, so my sin must still be a little." Said Izuru then eating the roast meat greedily.

Long story short, Izuru did not know that the meat was spicy, so Izuru immediately ran out of the forest and finally reached the city gate in the afternoon.

"Well... Huh... At last... Till... L'm... It's not hot anymore... But I'm still thirsty." Izuru said as he entered the city. Maybe later the narrator explained the depiction of the city, pity Izuru was thirsty.

"Well... Huh... Over where? Of water?" Izuru asked limply, then he stopped when he saw a building bearing a bar.

"Huh!? The water!" Izuru said running into the bar, "finally up there!" Said Izuru in front of the other bar patrons, they all looked like adventurers.

Izuru then walked towards the bartender's desk, then sat there with a girl next to him.

"Please one glass of water." Said Izuru laying her face on the table while raising her right hand.

Then a glass of water was placed in front of Izuru. Then he lifted his face and drank the water. "Well... It's like heaven."

"Yes I'm new here." Answer Izuru.

"Where are you from?"

"My dear... From the... There?"

"Where do you mean? Wait a minute, you're not a runaway slave, are you?"

"What's? I'm not a slave!"

"Then I asked again, where did you come from?"

"Heh... I can't seem to say that, because we don't know each other. I can't tell you my personal information." Izuru replied with a smile. The girl beside Izuru left after putting money on the table.

"My name is Gorden, I'm the owner of this bar and restaurant. What's yourname?" Said Gorden introduced himself and now he asked pad Izuru.

"Emmm... My name? I'm Izu.." replied Izuru but she immediately silenced her own mouth.

"Do I have to give you my real name? No, maybe I should change my name. Yeah, true! I'd better change my name, right now I'm going to live a new life." Izuru said inwardly while smiling to herself.

"Hey, you hear me?"

"Ah yes! I'm Kyoko!" Izuru said immediately that her new name sounded like a female name.

"Damn! Why do I use that name!? That's the name of one of my favorite characters in the game yesterday. He'll think I'm weird." Izuru said in his heart.

"Hm... Kyoko huh? Now we know each other, so can you tell me where you're from?"

"Why do you keep suspicious of me...!!!?!!!? Do I look like a bandit or a fugitive to you?"

"No, but the other day someone was waiting for you for the disappearance of a slave. And your appearance reflects so much." Said Gorden looking at Izuru's shabby clothes as it fell down several times from the cliff.

"It's not what you think it is. You definitely won't believe it, I actually reincarnated in the middle of the forest there."

"Hm... So it is."

"So you believe it?"

"Of course not."

"I thought it was."

"By the way I'm gonna close this bar soon, you better get home." Gorden said then walked to the back leaving Izuru there.

"Right, where am I going to sleep tonight?" Ask Izuru inwardly.

A moment passed and Izuru was already lying on a roadside bench, he looked towards the twinkling star-strewn sky.

The sky looks brighter when seen from the dark and lonely city streets. "It's not so bad, it's better than my old world. Now I have to think about how I can become a hero here."

"Wait a minute, I better think about where I'm going to shelter." Said Izuru staying lying on the bench as the rain slowly fell.
