Chapter 51

As Rima exits Arjun's room, a glimpse of him passing Jonathan, Arjun's co-worker who is passing by the door. Their eyes met for a moment, and Rima greeted him with a light smile before continuing her steps.

Jonathan looked towards the door that Rima had just passed and observed her departure in curiosity. She knows that Rima is Arjun's wife, but they have never met formally. There is a curiosity in him to know the woman who became his best friend's life partner.

With steady steps, Jonathan decides to enter Arjun's room. Arjun, who is busy with Renjun, sees Jonathan coming with a warm smile.

"Jonathan, come in" greeted Arjun kindly. "I'm babysitting Rejun, but we can talk for a minute."

Jonathan entered the room with enthusiasm. He looks at Renjun happily and nods at Arjun as thanks for his warm welcome.

"So, who just came out of this room, it was Rima, your wife, right?" jonathan asked with curiosity.

Arjun nodded, looking at Jonathan with excitement. "Yes, that's Rima. He left for a while because there was some business that could not be delayed. I babysit Rejun when he's not here."

Jonathan looked towards Renjun who was playing with a puzzle, and a smile adorned his face. "You're amazing, Arjun. Being a responsible husband and father."

Arjun smiled lowly, feeling moved by Jonathan's praise. "Thank you, Jonathan. Family is everything to me. I always try to give my best to them."

Jonathan nodded in agreement. "I really appreciate the values of your family, Arjun. May we all be good people to those we love."

"So, do you have a candidate?" ask Arjun.

Jonathan was silent for a moment and then laughed. "Haha ... I still want to focus on my career. Housekeeping is not an important priority in my life" she said.

"Normally you like challenges. Household life is a lot of challenges, actually suitable for you," said Arjun.

Jonathan just smiled. "I prefer our business challenges now" he said.

"Ah, speaking of the project, I am very enthusiastic about this project. I look forward to creating an amazing experience for our guests. Starting from complete facilities, beautiful scenery, to unparalleled service" said Arjun with enthusiasm.

Arjun smiled with satisfaction at Jonathan's praise. He felt lucky to have a friend like Jonathan who always supported him in every step of the way.

However, in their cheerfulness, Rima remained a hidden thought in Jonathan's mind. He wants to ask more questions about the relationship between Arjun and Rima, but he chooses to hold back. He does not want to interfere in the personal affairs of his best friend, especially if it can affect their relationship.

Meanwhile, Arjun who was enjoying their conversation, also noticed Jonathan's expression that looked somewhat disturbed. "Jonathan, is something bothering you? You look a little glued," asked Arjun with concern.

Jonathan shook his head, trying to hide his worries. "Ah, no problem, Arjun. Just a little tiredness from the work piling up, that's all."

Arjun is not entirely convinced by Jonathan's answer, but he chooses to respect his friend's privacy. He didn't want to encourage her to open up if Jonathan wasn't ready.

They continue the conversation with other topics, fun and light. Their laughter fills the room, reflecting the togetherness and friendship they have. However, behind their smiles and laughter, Rima remains a shadow that haunts Jonathan's mind.

After a while, Jonathan realized that it was late. He felt the need to go home and rest after a long night.

"Arjun, sorry I have to go now. Tomorrow there's a lot of work waiting" Jonathan said, standing up.

Arjun nodded, understanding Jonathan's need. "Of course, Jonathan. Thank you for your time and support. We'll continue to discuss this project."

Jonathan glanced at Arjun's son. From his face alone he thought there was no resemblance to Arjun at all.

"Don't it's not Arjun's biological son," Jonathan said before leaving.
