Chapter 18: The Friendly Message

Arjun looked at the night sky from the window of his wife's treatment room. He enjoyed a cup of coffee made by the waiter before going home.

For two days he himself raved Rima there. The waiter only told him to come while he was still working in the office.

Arjun was still thinking about Yunita's words back then. It could be that Rima had a huge debt without her knowledge. But, he thought there was still something strange. Rima's savings so far are still intact, the luxury goods collection is not sold. Even if cashed the value is quite fantastic if compared with the 300 million money that Rima ever spent.

Ting! Ting!

There was an incoming message on Rima's phone. Arjun walked over and took the thing off the table.

"I miss you."

The incomplete message cut that appeared on the phone made Arjun sculpt. The sender of a message from an anonymous foreign number. However, Arjun could not read the full message because Rima's phone was locked.

Actually, they already have a commitment not to be suspicious of each other's phones. But, which partner's heart is not hot when you see such a message going into his or her partner's phone?

Arjun couldn't bear to know the contents of his wife's phone. He put the phone on Rima's index finger. The phone was immediately open.

"I've*missed you."

"Have you healed?"

"Take care of your health and your baby."

"At least reply to my message. You know what I mean*?"

Reading the message sent from the unknown number made Arjun angry as well as emotional. He stared at Rima with a look of disappointment. He did not expect that his wife had a relationship with someone behind him.

Arjun's heart is getting hotter. He intends to contact the sender of the message. He wanted to know who was behind his wife.

"Euh ... Mum ...."

Not yet Arjun presses the call button, he hears Rima's voice. He even pressed the wrong button until the message was deleted.

Arjun patted his forehead. Although annoyed, he was glad that Rima could regain consciousness. He ignored the phone and ran to his wife.

"Darling, I'm here" said Arjun, holding Rima's hand. He smiled as if nothing had happened.

"You're in the hospital" replied Arjun.

Rima just remembered that he was trying to kill himself in the bathroom. Her cries broke as she recalled everything.

Arjun could not bear to ask Rima the contents of the message. He thinks his wife is still hit with a complicated problem. He grabbed Rima's body into his arms. Patted by her Rima's back.

"Mas, forgive me, huhuhu ...."

Rima's words were interpreted as an apology for the affair that seemed to have the wife doing behind her. Although disappointed, he was also sad to see the condition of his wife. Maybe Rima felt so guilty for his actions that he decided to commit suicide.

"Don't repeat something like this, honey. If there's a problem, talk to me directly."

Arjun held Rima's cheek. The woman's face looked grim and sad.

"Mas, I don't think I can live anymore. I want to die," whined Rima.

"Why are you talking like that? Every problem has a solution. Tell me, what made you come this way?" arjun Fishing.

He really hoped that Rima could open up to him. Even if there was something bad as he thought, he would have a chest.

They have been married for 4 years and have known him for a long time. Arjun still believes that his wife is a good person. If he had made a mistake, if Rima wanted to be honest, he would try to understand.

However, his hope seemed unable to materialize. Rima didn't want to tell him anything.

"If you don't want to tell me, I'll find out for myself" Arjun said.

"Alright, you wait here first. I want to see a doctor to tell you what your condition is" Arjun said. He patted Rima on the head before leaving.
