Yunita takes Renjun to a city park located close to her master's house. Rejun looked delighted as Yunita pulled her small hand and carried her running over the soft green grass. Some other kids were playing in the park, running around chasing each other, and having fun.
"Renjun, do you want to play ball?" yunita asked the little boy, taking the ball out of his bag.
Renjun nodded quickly and happily received the ball from Yunita's hand. He walked to the middle of the field and stepped on the ball with joy. Yunita looked at him proudly and smiled.
"You're very good at playing ball, Run," Yunita said excitedly. "One day you'll be a great footballer."
Rejun laughed happily and the ball kept rolling between them. They play happily, Renjun tries to kick the ball and Yunita lets him move for a while before kicking back.
"Yunita!"
Suddenly, they were interrupted by the voice of someone calling Yunita. Yunita turned around and saw her drunkard father walking towards them.
"Yunita, how are you, baby?" greet Yunita's father with a big smile.
"Well," Yunita replied briefly and looked at her father doubtfully. He did not want to show his discomfort to the still small Runjun.
"I came to ask you for help," Yunita's father said suddenly.
"What is that, dad?" ask Yunita. He felt bad for his father's words.
"Ah, who is this kid?" asked Yunita's father who had just realized the whereabouts of the child.
Renjun seemed to be afraid of Yunita's father. The boy released his ball and ran while hiding behind Yunita's body. Slowly he peeked at the figure of the man who was creepy to him.
"It's okay, Run," said Yunita calming the boy. Yunita's eyes glanced sharply towards her father. "So what did you want for help?" tanyakanya. He no longer wants to talk.
"Dad needs money, Yunita. Please give me money for me."
"Dad, I can't give you any money" Yunita replied.
"Why? I am your own father. Don't be stingy with this father of yours," Yunita's father said with a slight annoyance.
"I don't want to give money to things that are not beneficial, father," Yunita replied calmly.
"You're getting brazen huh, Yunita! I need that money. If you don't give it to me, I'll take the kid away!" threaten Yunita's father while pointing towards Renjun.
Renjun did not understand what Yunita and Yunita's father were talking about, but he felt that something was wrong with Yunita's mood. He embraces Yunita's feet and looks at Yunita's father with an innocent face.
Yunita was scared and did not know what to do. He did not want to give up his money, but he also did not want to harm Renjun. Eventually, Yunita was forced to hand over the money to her father with a heavy heart.
"All right, dad, I'll give you some money. But, don't ask me for any more money, dad. Money cannot solve your problems" Yunita said firmly.
Yunita's father accepted the money and left without looking at Yunita and Renjun again. He was happy to get what he wanted.
Yunita felt sad and angry at her father. He knew his father would only use it for bad things. However, he also felt happy that Renjun was not injured.
"I'm sorry, Renjun. I don't know what to do," Yunita said as she gently brushed her hair away.
Renjun just smiled and nodded small, not knowing very well what was going on. However, he felt safe with the presence of Yunita who was always by his side.
