Rima walked towards the prepared dining table. Suni was already sitting there as she arranged the breakfast dishes. Arjun was also sitting next to his mother. They look happy, ready to start the day.

As Rima joined them, a warm smile greeted her lips. He sat down beside Arjun, watching the dishes that were lined up in front of him.

"Good morning, Ma, dear," said Rima, kissing her husband.

"August, Rima. You work today too?" ask Suni.

"Yes, Ma. Busy now. So, I have to keep going into the office."

"If you can reduce your activities, poor Renjun still needs you. Yes, even though there is Yunita. Do not let your child get closer to his caregiver," said Suni.

"Eum, Mama's cooking looks delicious as usual," Rima praised, trying to distract from her nervousness. He knew his in-laws didn't like it much if he had a career. However, if he stops working, he will find it more difficult to find a reason to meet with Sandi. At least the man held the promise not to disturb her in the house.

Suni smiled proudly. "really? I was always happy to be able to serve food to the family." the middle-aged woman was always happy for anyone to praise her cooking. Rarely can he set aside time to make breakfast.

Arjun, who was eating his breakfast, turned to his mother. "Mam, I'd like to ask you a question. Lately, Sandi has rarely come home. Is something going on?"

Suni let out a short sigh before answering Arjun's question. "Your father is busy with new business, son. He has several projects that require his full attention. That's why he rarely comes home."

Arjun nodded, yet still looked a little worried. "Oh, so. I just want to make sure everything's okay."

Rima watched Arjun and Suni's expressions. His heart was pounding, swaying between wanting to reveal the truth or keeping the secret he had been keeping. She knows that if she opens the veil about her relationship with Sandi, it will destroy their lives all.

He chose to remain silent and observe, hoping that all lies and secrets would be well preserved. But the burden felt heavy on his chest, like a time bomb that could explode at any moment.

As they continue to eat breakfast, Rima only listens to the conversation between Arjun and Suni. She tries to suppress her guilt, play the role of a devoted wife and balance their family life.

However, in his heart, anxiety and doubt increasingly ruled his mind. Whenever they talk about Sandi or a resort project, Rima feels like a shadow is haunting her mind. He fears the truth will be exposed and bring unforeseen consequences.

Arjun nodded, understanding his mother's busyness. "Good, Mam. Hope your meeting goes well."

Suni gave a smile of thanks to her son and stepped towards the door. Before leaving, he glanced at Rima with warmth. "Rima, please think again about the job and run," he said.

Rima smiled in reply, but her heart trembled. He felt torn between guilt and discomfort. After Suni left, the atmosphere in the dining room was tense. Arjun looked at Rima with a worried look.

"Don't be too taken heart Mama said if it doesn't make you comfortable. I support whatever your decision is" Arjun said.

Rima took a deep breath, trying to overcome the waves of emotions that plagued her. "Yes, Mas. Thank you," he said.

"Mama said it was for your good too, not just because of Renjun. He loves you very much, dear," Arjun said. He took his wife's hand and held it. "Mama loves you as much as I love you, Rima. Believe it."

Rima was touched by her husband's words. He knows that Arjun is a loyal and affectionate person. But in his heart, he felt increasingly trapped in a complicated lie.

Arjun kissed Rima's forehead gently. "I love you, Rima. We will face all these trials together. Don't hesitate to share whatever's on your mind."

Rima smiled bitterly, struggling with the secret burden that kept haunting him. He clasped Arjun's hand tightly, trying to calm himself down. But behind his smile, his heart kept shouting with unanswered questions.

"It's okay. I'm fine, Mom," she said.

However, even though they tried to maintain a normal family life, Rima could not get rid of the guilt and anxiety that creeped up in her heart. Every day, when Arjun is not looking, he tries to solve the questions that fill his mind. He must figure out a way to end his forbidden relationship with Sandi without destroying their lives.

In silence, Rima promised herself that she would find a way out.
