CL - 30. Saka's Seriousness

It was still morning right, I had arrived at the store where all the employees were busy tidying up the goods also assisted by some porters who looked busy raising the goods to a rented box car.

A voice suddenly surprised me.

"I'm sorry about the trouble that's beenfalling you. Whoever it is, I won't let him bother you anymore."

The heavy voice apparently came from Saka. Why is he suddenly here?

"Thank you but I don't think you need to interfere."

I deliberately refused him so that he would not act recklessly.

"It can't be like that, I promised your mama."

"meaning?"

"Is it still unclear? I Saka Mahardika will always protect Riana Larasati and not let anyone hurt her even a fingernail."

I was stunned to hear Saka's words that when seen from the look of her face there was not the slightest implied that she was joking about everything she said.

I stared at him for a long time, until I was finally able to answer.

"As far as you are, do what you think is good."

"That's dong. Now what can I help you with? I'm on vacation and it seems like there's a lot to do."

"It's good to increase one more energy. Then I won't have to hire any more porters to transport these things."

"It's not all free Riana. You have to pay for it."

I looked at him in disbelief. Ah I shouldn't have believed in this cunning man in front of me.

"What do you want to pay?"

"You should buy me lunch for a month."

"No way."

"You'll want to. Just look at it later."

I exhaled heavily and resumed my work that had been neglected due to the arrival of Saka. While Saka was busy with the boxes that he immediately climbed into the box car.

I'm honestly glad he's here, somehow. He's a little annoying, but I think he's a good guy.

After improving for quite a while, I looked towards Saka who had started to sweat. I brought him a bottle of mineral water, he must have been very thirsty.

I thrust the water bottle at him and our eyes ripped for a few seconds.

"Thank you."His speech was short and immediately opened the bottle of mineral water and drank it until only half was left.

"Lunch yuk! I'll deal with it." Saying later.

"Who is afraid." She blinked her eyes at me which I even assumed she was teasing me.

The guy bummer.

"I'm just like Saka going out for lunch first. You can also rest and have lunch. We'll gather here in an hour."

After saying goodbye to the employees, Saka and I got into the car and headed to a restaurant not far from the store.

"By the way you've got a new place for your store and headquarters?" Saka started the conversation after the two of us just fell silent in the car.

"Yet. I've contacted some friends but the results are nil. Maybe I should be patient."

"Where is it really?"

My eyes sparkled and began to get excited.

"Let me show you after lunch."

"alright. But you're not asking for anything in return, are you? in return, if you help me. Take it easy I'll buy that place from you."

"Goodoo. I was planning to sell it to you."

"Thanks yes. What did you want to use the land for?"

"I wanted to build a restaurant, but because the restaurant is not stable now so I decided it's not time to add one more branch."

"Have you been in the culinary business for a long time?"

"Even longer. Why are you interested?"

"No really. I used to have a restaurant, but I'm not the only one taking care of me, but my cousin."

"Oh. Come to my restaurant sometime. I provide a special menu of traditional Nusantara cuisine. Because you could say I was always amazed at the wealth of spices in our country."

"So you're good at cooking too?"

"I'll cook for you. You should taste it."

"All right."

It didn't feel like we had arrived at the restaurant and it looked quite crowded. Saka and I walked into the restaurant, but there was a small incident that happened to me upon entering. From the opposite direction a woman was walking hastily and unfortunate is inevitable. The woman's large body hit me and I almost fell.

Saka quickly caught my body that was about to fall backwards. His sturdy hands clasped my waist and that was when our eyes came back to meet. My heart was pounding fast, within his eyes like something was pulling me to keep looking at him.

"A...!" My screams almost fell.

The woman who bumped into me had the slightest bit of guilt. He just passed by as if nothing had happened. I have already fallen half. Thankfully there was Saka.

I got nervous again when he helped me straighten up and his hands were still holding my waist.

"Thank you."

It seemed like he had also enjoyed the brief moment just now. Just like me, he also looks nervous. But quickly the nervousness disappeared from him because people looked at him with a feeling of amazement. Perhaps they captured the moment was a romantic moment like in Indian films.

I confirmed my slightly messy clothes, then we sat in an empty place.

Saka then called the waiter and ordered some food. Actually the tongue he is not accustomed to cooking that is not cooked by his own hands or cooked by his mother. But since he was with me, so he went along to eat cooking cooked by others.

"Riana, about our matchmaking." The words hang.

"Dad what's wrong?"

"Ah there's nothing. You just keep eating it."
