"The virus!" melda shouted loudly, Vira turned her head towards Melda. Melda stands between two heirs of the Atmaja family. Azzam Atmaja and Fariz Atmaja, brothers who never one word. But the blood that flows, does not let them separate.
Vira guided her old mini bike. He exited from the side door towards the high gate of the Atmaja family. A sturdy gate that will not be able to be crushed by the weak bones of Vira. Slowly Vira walked out of the magnificent house of Atmaja. Vira came home after finishing all her work. He should go to college immediately.
Vira stopped her steps, just after Melda called her name. Vira looked at Melda. Then he looked back at the ground where he stood. Vira was unable to look at Melda for long. When the two pairs of eagle eyes Azzam and Fariz looked at him. Like two eagle eyes that are locking their prey.
"Why did mom call him?" azzam said coldly, Melda smiled as she embraced Azzam's right arm. While the other side embraces Fariz's left arm.
Azzam and Fariz never said a word or approached each other. But every morning, Melda's hands always put them together. Only Melda's embrace was able to keep them close even for a moment. Melda understood the distance between Azzam and Fariz. But with his affection. Melda always tried to unite the two.
"Dear Vira, come here!" melda said loudly, Vira nodded slowly.
Slowly put down his bike. Without raising his head. Vira walked closer towards Melda. Fariz smiled as he looked at Vira. Instead Azzam kept busy with his phone. In other words trying to keep themselves busy. Just so he doesn't seem to care about Vira.
"Sorry, Miss Melda, all work is done. If you don't mind. Can I go home. I had a morning lecture today!" fretful Vira was nervous, Melda shook her head slowly. There was a smile on Melda's face. When Vira stood in front of him.
Melda sees Vira's courtesy. Self-reliance and maintaining her dignity as a woman. Shaking Melda's deepest heart. Vira did not raise her face when she spoke to him. Melda feels Vira is keeping her distance with her two sons. A reasonable distance, due to Vira's status. But very wrong in front of the good Melda.
Vira feels like she has finished her mother's work. So Vira dared to hurry home. Vira was astonished, as Melda called out to him. It was as if there was still work that Vira had yet to finish. Fidgetily Vira approached in front of Melda.
"I don't need your help. I'm sure your work is done, too. I just wanted to ask you to go with Fariz. You guys are one college, even one major. Wouldn't it be faster if you left with Fariz!" melda said soft and warm. At once Vira shook her head to reject Melda's words.
Melda's words made Azzam and Fariz look at each other. The faces of Azzam and Fariz were the same, both astonished at Melda's words. Instead Melda chuckled seeing her two sons being shocked at the same time.
Vira never wanted to go with Fariz. Although his relationship with Fariz is now much better. Vira can be self-conscious about her position. Perhaps Melda could accept Vira and Fariz's friendship, but the great master of Atmaja would not be that easy to accept. Angga Pratama Atmaja will never let his descendants close to careless people.
"No madam Melda, I can be on my own. Thanks for the offer!" rejecting Vira, Melda shook her head in disapproval.
"This is not an offer, but an order from me. Get in Fariz's car. Free to argue with me, you'll be late for college. Your bike will be fine there!" said Melda final, weakly Vira nodded. Rejecting Melda's orders would only leave her mother disappointed. Even with half a heart, Vira stepped into Fariz's car.
Without any more command, Fariz kissed the back of Melda's hand. Shortly after seeing Vira get into his car. Fariz said hello, then Fariz got into his car. Bak accepts the crumbling durian, without arguing or forcing. Finally, Vira agreed to go with him. Especially with the permission of my mother. Melda smiled happily at Fariz's cheerfulness. Contrary to Azzam's cynical smile.
Fariz drove his car out of his mansion. Azzam silently looked at Vira sitting right next to Fariz. No words were spoken from his lips. Azzam is like an iceberg that gets colder, when you see the proximity of Vira to Fariz.
"Don't let me be wrong in deciding what's best for me or Fariz. If you make a mistake, you will lose one of us. All this time I've been quiet, doesn't mean I agree. I just want to see how much you love me. I want to make it clear that a mother will understand her son's heart better. Without the need for a son to say his wound. For the water that flows in his blood. Her tears flowed when her son was injured. Don't make me doubt the sincerity of a mother's affection!" said Azzam coldly, then pulled Melda's hand. Azzam kissed the back of Melda's hand before walking towards her car.
Azzam walked slowly, leaving the pensive Melda to hear the words of Azzam. There was fear, when Azzam began to question his attitude. There was an unusual feeling, seeing Azzam leave after talking like that.
"Azzam!" calling Melda, Azzam turned his head with a smile.
"Until this moment, mama is the person I most cherish and cherish. Don't ever make me change all that. Give your sincere love to me. Although I know, ever since I was in your womb. Not for a second did you let me live without love. But today, try to see the wound
the heart I keep in silence!" azzam said again, then got into his car.
"What's Azzam? What do you want to say to Mom? Why do you doubt your mother's love?" melda said softly, holding her chest.
A single tear tipped over his cheek. Melda wiped away the tears that were dripping from her heart. Azzam's hesitation pierced his deepest heart. Leaving behind unusual wounds. Azzam had been quiet all this time, but this morning he spoke. But the doubts that Azzam wanted to say.
"Why are you pensive?" said Angga lirih, Melda gasped when there was a circular hand hugging her body. Angga tightly embraced Melda, the most precious woman in her life. Slowly Angga placed his head on Melda's shoulders.
"I hurt Azzam!" melda lirih said inaudibly, Angga turned his head in wonder. Gently Angga twisted Melda's body facing towards her.
"What happened to Azzam?" said Angga, Melda shrugged both of her shoulders not understanding.
"Don't think too much, Azzam's attitude has always been that. I even want to ask you. Why did you let Fariz leave with the maid's son!" said Angga, Melda looked up at the sharp stare of Angga. At once the look of Melda's face looks not like the words of Angga.
"She's Vira's daughter bik Siti, never call her a maid's son. It may be your fortune that pays his mother, but it's all worth their dripping sweat. Vira is a good and smart girl, you should not underestimate her. Never think, treasure everything in this world. You will never know if Vira will be above us. Never be proud of something impermanent!" said Melda cynically, while brushed off Angga's hand.
"Melda, what's wrong with you?" angga lantang. Melda looked at Angga sharply.
"I'm tired of living with people, who always look down on others. Now that I realized, little by little I started to lose my son's smile. All just because of the status you have always been proud of!"
"Melda, watch your talk? Why are you talking rudely to me? I only spoke one word about the maid. Why do you think it's important?"
"Because he will make us lose a son. She's the girl who's the reason for my son's smile!" suhut Melda cold.
