Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife

Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife
Nadia's Return

"Sister, aren't we going to pick up Mommy? Why go to the hospital?" Bilal's question stopped the joy that was happening in the car.

Ruby and Winda glanced at each other with faces that were difficult to interpret. No matter what to answer, they don't know.

"Mother is here, indeed" Ruby replied in the end. Bilal seems dissatisfied still looking for answers that according to reason is right.

"Why is Mother here? I thought we were going to the airport or the terminal maybe, or even to the port. Why is it here?" scatter the boy with a probing look right at his brother's bead.

Ruby looked away from her younger brother.

"Yes .. because Mother is here. So we pick him up here not where you mentioned earlier," replied Ruby again still the same. He was confused as to what to answer.

Bilal took a look at that face. Look for traces of honesty from what is spoken.

"Sister lied. During this time Mother did not go out of town, but Mother was sick and hospitalized. I right?" bilal said exactly. Ruby silenced, Winda looking for answers.

"Honey, Mommy is here to do a health check. That's why we picked up Mommy here," said Winda while turning off the engine once the car stopped in the parking lot of the Hospital.

Bilal no longer asks, but he still thinks Ruby has lied to him. They went down and walked together into the Hospital lobby.

Bilal was stunned when he saw Nadia sitting with Sarah, especially when he saw her pale face and my eyes. Although his lips formed a smile, but Bilal knew Nadia was not okay.

"Mother!" Bilal and Nafisah ran towards Nadia. The woman spread out both hands welcoming the arrival of the two. Hugged them tightly while smiling deeply. As much as possible Nadia held back the water that was about to come down from the fertilizer that made her eyes feel hot.

"Your miss," said Nadia with a hoarse voice and sounding claustrophobic. Bilal and Nafisah held her so tightly. Spilling longs for one this week did not meet.

"How are you guys?" tanya Nadia rubbed the two cheeks of the child with her right and left hands after breaking the hug. Her soft skin felt bland on their skin.

"We miss Mother too, we're fine, Mother. Mother took good care of us," replied Bilal as he was. Nafisah hugged the body again did not want to take it off.

Sarah just smiled as she rubbed her second hair. Ruby and Winda felt bad about taking the kids along.

"Is Mother sick? Brother said Mommy went out of town to work? Did you lie?" continued Bilal with a view that is imprinted on the bead sayu Nadia.

Nadia glanced at Ruby who was looking down while biting her lips firmly. He could not bear to actually lie to his two sisters. However, he did not know what to answer when they asked about Nadia.

Nadia's gaze rested on Bilal, she smiled and pulled Bilal to sit next to her. While Nafisah he sat on his lap. Next to his hand hugged Nafisah, and another to his waist Bilal.

He pecked their heads in turns before he said, "Sister does not lie. Mother is indeed from outside the city, but when you arrive here Mother feels pain so come here. It turned out to be just a cold," replied Nadia did not want Bilal to think about his bad condition.

The boy's face looked up, staring alternately at Nadia's bead right and left. Likewise with Ruby he stared in disbelief at Nadia's figure. However, the woman smiled and nodded towards him.

"really?" tanyanya could not believe it. Nadia nodded her head in self-assurance. Bilal hugged her back.

"We love Mother. If Mother wants to go, at least tell us," pinta Bilal shriveled in Nadia's arms.

Sarah was so powerless to hold haru, that she cried without a sound. The children were not the flesh of his daughter, but their affection was the same as that of a biological child to his mother.

Nadia flanked Bilal and Nafisah right and left. Holding Nadia's hands while walking out to the parking lot. Go home with Sarah and also Winda who took her home.

"Mother!" The sound of that cry he missed. The children of the foundation scatter around Nadia. Hugging the woman's feet was full of longing. They filled Nadia's house. Making a simple house is crowded because of them.

Lucky earlier on the road Nadia asked Winda to buy food for her children. He misses those faces, misses their smiles, misses the spoiled babble of his foster children. His heart warmed up instantly seeing and hearing their laughter.

"Where is the cream and Ain? Did they know you were home today? Why didn't Mama see them?" asked Sarah while staring at the building foundation that looks empty because all residents are in Nadia's house including Mother.

"Maybe there is a study, indeed if this afternoon mas Ikram sometimes fill the study. Maybe tonight will come" replied Nadia.

Sarah nodded her head in a sign of understanding her daughter-in-law's busyness as ustadz. He asked no more, but accompanied them to play and chatter this and that.

"Bak is very pale, are you sick?" asked the mother who had been watching Nadia in silence.

Again, those beautiful lips smiled. That smile has not faded to this day.

"Just in the wind, Mom. Maybe it was on the road a lot of wind, but it's better, really." Mother nodded anyway.

By the Maghreb all retired, including Sarah and Vinda. However, Bilal and Nafisah did not want to leave Nadia alone. Be the two staying over, while Ruby returns to the dorm.

In the house Ikram no less frenetic, when a luxury car entered the pesantren area and went straight to Nadia's house. Ain and Yuni were busy peering out from behind the glass of the house, while Ikram chose indifference and continued reading books.

"It looks like your honey's coming home. Why is that so? Just like the office. Pake was ushered into the house all over again," a fiery Yuni's whisk began to pester Ain who had been emitting smoke from all over the hole in his head.

Nadia was ushered in a luxury car, while hers was lost because it was sold by her own.

"You can be like that too, Ain. If you manage to get a lot of money from your clothing business again. Ask for a sloping price on Nadia, but you sell at a fixed price as usual. Wouldn't the profits be greater? What else is now going to be ahead of the fast, get ready for the holiday, and your shop must be visited by many buyers," Yuni's advice that made Ain instantly speechless.

"It was also your idea. Then, I will come directly to the factory. They will definitely appreciate me as the first wife of Ikram, the husband of their boss. Wonderful idea. Your brain tumbens diluted," Ain said with excitement.

Both of them laughed making the focus of Ikram distracted on them. However, he is not indifferent to what his two wives want to do.

Given the matter of Nadia, Ikram's heart also missed that figure. It was just that he was so embarrassed to meet his second wife. Be the dilemma between wanting to meet him or staying at home. Ikram chose to go to his room leaving the two wives still giggling indistinctly.

He slammed himself on the bed. Thinking and contemplating, how he missed the never-sour-faced figure. Ikram has not contacted Nadia by phone since her departure to the holy land. His face turned red as he recalled the one incident that happened to him when Umrah.

Oh God!

He muttered alone. Swiped his face and turned around. He really doesn't know what to do at the moment. Facing three different wives of character made him frustrated himself.
