Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife

Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife
Meet Rai Again

The voice of two people disturbed Nadia's nervous senses. He who is still asleep in a longing, reluctant to open his eyes. His encounter with the Mamah made him drift in a dreamland. Don't want to just pass by.

The voices were still heard, the voices of people talking while working on something. Nadia bellowed, she glanced at the clock above the nightstand. At sixty thirty. It's worth it that many.

Nadia moved, rubbing her eyes before walking to the bathroom. Nadia frowned when she saw two teenagers cleaning her house.

"You guys ...?" Nadia's question sentence hangs when she remembers that she had allowed Mother and her family to stay in her house.

"Morning, Non!" greet both compact.

"Sister, don't call Non everything" Nadia said with a small smile.

"But usually, the host always wants to be called that," they said verbally.

"For me, there's no need. Just call Big Brother," Nadia said once again.

"Good, Brother!" Nadia melengos went for breakfast.

Nadia looked through Sarah's room. He opened the drawer and accidentally found an envelope that was sealed shut. Nadia picked it up and read the writing in front of her.

For my only daughter.

Nadia's tears immediately read the writing. A feeling of homesickness sticking to the surface asking to be completed. Nadia opened it, inside there is a photo and a letter written directly by Sarah.

Nadia my son ....

Forgive the Father who cannot give you happiness. Because your mother must suffer.

Just that piece alone, Nadia was already stunned. He held the letter to his chest. If it may be asked at times, he would like to return to a time where Sarah always advised him. Time wasted and heedless of the counsel of the Mamah.

"Mamma! I'm sorry!" lirih Nadia with a trembling voice. He continued reading his letter.

Forgive Mama, honey. Your marriage happened because Mamah asked Ikram to marry you. Mamah could not bear to see you continue to be pensive to imagine the face of the man.

Nadia sobbed considering that when Ikram proposed to the house he did not meet her at all.

Mamah made a pact with him so that he would marry you. Not that Mamah sold you or anything, but Mamah just couldn't accept the fact that Mamah's only daughter was sentenced to her life doctor soon.

The other night, Mom kept thinking. Mamah accidentally heard you muttering about Ikram. Forgive Mama, Nadia. Forgive Mama, honey.

If one day someone named Harith and claiming to be your uncle comes, go with him. Mom put you in her. Only he can trust you to take care of you. He is not the younger brother of Mamah and Papah, but Mamah is sure he will take care of you like Mamah and Papah. That's Mamah giving me her picture. He's handsome, isn't he? He and his wife will be the successor to Mamah and Papah.

Dear Mamah. Nadias.

Live with happiness.

Mama loves you.

Nadia could not hold back her crying. He fell on the bed hugging Sarah's letter. Uncle Harith ..he had put his suspicions on him because of his sudden arrival.

Nadia broke down a hug, she saw the white envelope. One photo sticking to the surface. Nadia took it, a photo of Harits' uncle as a young boy. It was handsome, almost at par with his papa.

Nadia smiling. "He proposed to me, Mah. Uncle Harith wanted to make me his wife because he was a widower. Is that right, Mah? What if he's lying? And it turns out that his wife is alive, and then I go back to being a second wife?"

Nadia murmured, traumatized by her marriage to Ikram, Nadia must always be vigilant with all the possibilities that could happen.

"What should I do, Mah? I still can't trust any man. Rai, also proposed to me indirectly. Uncle Harits was like that, but my heart was still too hesitant to get back adrift with the wedding rope," said Nadia as she looked at the photo of Sarah on the nightstand.

He took the photo, kissed the figure of Sarah in the picture. He clenched the little figura full of longing. This day, there was nothing Nadia did but to remain silent in the room reminiscing about the times when Sarah accompanied her every day.

Until nightfall, then Nadia went out. He held a small bag, about to go for a moment to take off tired. Nadia pulls out a matic motorcycle from the garage. Balong purpose, in that place he could find a crowd to drive away the quiet in his heart.

Without realizing it, some people followed him from behind. Uncle Harith's men are assigned to look after Nadia. They reported Nadia's departure to Harith's uncle before trailing the woman.

They blend in with the communities that populate the Balong area. Nadia was sitting in a quiet place, alone. Look at the water in the artificial lake.

The singing voice of the buskers sometimes accompanies even with a crumbling and messy voice. Nadia is listening.

Ting!

A message notification came into Nadia's mailbox. He smiled as he read a message from Harith's uncle saying good night to him.

In that place he replied to a message with him who was far away without him knowing a pair of eyes staring at him full of hate. He clenched both hands, his eyes filled with the burning flames of anger and vengeance.

"Take a look at you, Nadia!" threaten her from behind her clenched teeth. He turns to leave Balong, devising a plan of revenge against Nadia.

While the woman, still coolly reply messages with uncle Harits who always tease him. He did not deny, the man could always make him smile with the original babble from him.

"He's dead!" Someone reprimanded Nadia, making her look up quickly.

"Tie?" Nadia's smile expands when she meets Rai at that place. The man sat not far from Nadia.

"I think you've returned to Jakarta, it's still here" Rai said. Nadia smiling.

"I still want to be here, Rai. There are many memories that I cannot forget here" Nadia said with a faint smile.

"Are you still not able to escape from that man? To the extent that it is hard to leave this city and ignore my feelings" said Rai. His face turned gloomy and sad.

Nadia chuckled at that, what a superficial thought the man before her was. It was not because of the Kram that he was in the city, but because of Sarah who invited him to live and settle there.

"You think I'm in town because of him? I'm sorry, Rai. My mother brought me here. It's not because of him, Rai, but because of the memories of being with Mamah that I can't just leave behind"

"All the memories of Mamah that made my move hard to leave this city. Not because of the man," said Nadia who relieved Rai's heart. He thought Nadia still loved him until he still wanted to settle in the city.

"Then, is there a chance for me to fill the emptiness of your heart, Nadia?"
