Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife

Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife
Talking With Ain

Be patient .. someday your patience will bear sweet fruit

Be patient ... bitter indeed, but the reward is even sweeter than honey

Be patient .. because something will certainly have wisdom contained

Be patient .. A patience of the sun illuminates the earth although sometimes scorned

Be patient .. as strong as the rain that falls though sometimes hindered by abuse

Be patient .. as long as the land that despite being stepped on he still gives a foothold

Be patient ... as hard as the coral although it is not stopped in the waves it still stands firm

Be patient ... as calm as the water flows despite the many obstacles he continues to drive and fight

That afternoon, it came to bring happiness to the fragile heart while delivering the wounds that had been inscribed on it. Nadia was still smiling despite the bitterness she had felt from the pause of the speech that caused the anxiety of her heart.

"Tell me, Mom! I'll listen!" he said he still maintained a smile on his lips even though his heart ached.

Ikram lowered his gaze, he did not have the heart to look at the girl he loved hurt. But what is his power! His presence inflicts wounds on the other heart. Nadia's arrival changes the storyline in her life.

Ikram took a deep breath, exhaled it slowly, strengthening his heart to talk about what it was supposed to be talking about. Nadia's waiting.

"Nadia, forgive Mas for not being able to be the perfect husband for you. There are still many shortcomings"

"What do you mean?" tukas Nadia quickly before Ikram ended his speech. Bad thoughts soon filled his heart. Nah! Nadia refused.

"Don't you want to ask me why this one month Mas didn't visit you?" tanya Ikram is curious because usually a woman will ask that, but Nadia is not.

"Why should I want to know while Mas himself doesn't want to explain. If Mas wants to explain, then I will listen, "he said stoically.

Really for anything! Nadia is very different from most women. The look on his face remained soft with a smile that implied his fortitude.

"Didn't you also want to ask about Mas who didn't contact you for three days there?" Ikram further provoked the true feeling of Nadia.

Her sweet lips formed a smile.

"If Mas wants to explain it I will listen, but if not then never discuss. What is important to me is that Mas has returned home safely," he said, further ripping Ikram's heart apart.

O Allah .. do I have to say it? Seeing his attitude like this I feel guilty, O God.

"Mas!" A gentle call with a sweep in hand jolted the Ikram consciousness that looked at Nadia's face without blinking.

"Nadia .. forgive Mas because while there Mas did not have time to contact you. Don't misunderstand me" he said. There was no way he would say that it was all Ain's request.

"It's okay, Mom. I understand," he said.

"How about we go on vacation for three days as ransom for Mas's fault?" invite Ikram expectantly.

Nadia did not want to leave, but what about Ain if he still went with Ikram. The pain in his heart will increase.

"No need, because there is no need to be redeemed. Mas did nothing wrong, do not sow salt on the wound, Mas. Brother Ain's heart is already sick with Mas marrying me, I don't want to add to the wound in his heart by making him jealous anyway. Never feel guilty, Mas," Nadia said in a weak tone.

Ikram's chest rumbled, the iron bogem as if smashing into his heart made him ravish. Nadia did not even think about her happiness, but rather greatly kept Ain's feeling as the one who was most hurt by her presence. Allahu!

"Are you sure you don't want to go? Ain has given his permission" said Ikram again reassured.

Nadia shook her head that smile did not fade from her lips, "I'm sure, Mas. Can't verbal easily say anything? We don't know what Ain's heart is like, Mas. Her license could have said yes, but her heart .. has been allowed to be your wife only, I'm grateful, Mas. Do not want to be greedy by giving more pain to his heart," said Nadia with sincerity that I can not find from other women.

"You are amazing, Nadia," praised Ikram with her heart sore.

"Astaghfiullah! Nadia ... do you want to know why Mas a month did not come to visit?" Back to the core of the conversation.

"What's wrong, Mom?" Nadia finally asked. He thought there was something important Ikram wanted to say.

"I'm sorry once again ... You can't visit you often. Ain was jealous and asked Mas not to come to you for more than three days for a month. Mas doesn't know what to do, but Ain revealed his heartache to Mas yesterday. Nadja ...."

For whatever! Nadia felt that the world was unfair to her. The smile on his lips faded, changing into confusion and disappointment in his heart. Nadia pulled the hand that Ikram was holding and clenched it. Resisting the pain in the heart for what he had just heard.

He looked down and avoided the sight of the devil. As much as possible to hold back tears from spilling from the fertilizer.

"If that is what Kak Ain wants, I will accept it, Mas. Had it been able to treat his slight heartache, I would have tried to accept everything sincerely." Nadia turned back to look at Ikram. A sad look of disappointment in it.

He smiled again, "Mas don't worry, I'll be fine. Just tell Kak Ain, I want to talk to him alone," continued Nadia withstanding any nagging taste in her chest.

This time Ikram looked down, unable to see the smile on the injured face of his second wife. He knew Nadia's heart must have been hurt at Ain's request.

In the evening, Nadia decides to meet Ain after routine studies at the mosque foyer. The two sit side by side while holding their respective prayer tools.

Silent. No one has started talking about either. Ain looked at Nadia, she did look thinner than since her arrival to the cottage.

"Why? Did Ikram say it to you?" tanya Ain remained soft-pitched as usual.

Nadia smiled, staring at the dark expanse that sown the night.

"Already," he said as he turned to look at Ain.

"Then, why? Do you mind?" asked Ain again rubbed Nadia's back with a soft sweep.

Nadia shook her head, "No. I just wanted to ask Brother. Why would you do that?" nadia asked not implied hatred in her hazel colored manic. One part of Nadia's body that made Ain feel envious.

Ain sighed, his face facing the expanse of stars in the sky.

"Let's look at all the things in the sky there, and look at the one there!" Ain's hand pointed at the stars and the moon that adorned the night sky.

"If one of the brightest stars there is already very interesting, why should there be other stars that actually drown the star."

Ain lowered his hand, turning back to Nadia.

"Nadia, usually a man will remarry for one reason that is acceptable, right? Either he had no children, or because his wife was ill. Or whatever becomes the reason why a man should remarry, but I ...,"

Ain paused his words again. He no longer looked at Nadia who slowly lowered her head. Nadia squeezed the prayer tool she held.

"I'm a woman who doesn't have any disability. From my womb were born three perfectly healthy children. At my age I can still meet my husband's biological needs. How are you feeling, Nadia? When you who do not have any shortcomings suddenly your husband asks permission to marry again?" said Ain again looked at Nadia who was still bowing her head.

"If you were me, what would you do to stay by her side while the other woman was on the other side?" The question ended their conversation.

Nadia was silent, she did not say any of Ain's words. Prefer to be silent because however all the problems he received began from him who married the husband of another person.

Ain stood up. Feeling that there was nothing more to talk about, he went home.

"Rest, Nadia. It's late, Brother, look at you being unwell. It's not good to be outside for too long when the body is not healthy" Ain said, patting Nadia on the shoulder before leaving her.

"Thank you, Brother."

Nadia raised her gaze to look at Ain's distant back.

"If I were a perfect woman like you, brother. I don't want to do it either. Unfortunately, God created me with trials. The exams I have to take. It's okay, Brother. I will accept everything if it can make Brother's heart hurt," muttered Nadia still sitting on the porch of the mosque waiting for Ikram to come.

He leaned on the pillar of the mosque, his body fragile by disease, now his heart is also fragile by love.

Ikram who was looking in the distance, looked at the sad Nadia who was sitting leaning back waiting for him. He grabbed the fragile body and took it home. During these three days Ikram will spend time with Nadia before one month comes without togetherness. Nadia, too, has rarely come to the house of Ikram.
