Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife

Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife
Want to Meet

The unexpected meeting that night, restored harmony in the small family belonging to Ikram.

"Bi, why do we live here?" asked Ain at Ikram who was lying next to him. She hugged her husband's body, staring at the ceiling of the room that had once been Nadia's bed.

Ikram rubbed his wife's hair slightly tangled, he himself slept on his back facing the ceiling of the room. His eyes were closed, preparing to sleep.

"Here away from the crowd, Mi. After all, if we stay here, the female guardians who want to visit their children will not see us. Abi's just afraid they'll change their minds and move her son out of here when we have to see each other again." Ikram glanced at Ain's head who nodded small. Give her a warm kiss on the woman's crown.

"Already, sleeping. Umi must be tired." He tightened the embrace. Ain did not deny that he missed this kind of time in his life.

Regretting everything that happened, useless. It won't bring things back to the way they were. Stories in the past make lessons and take the wisdom contained in them.

Silence greeted the two. No sound was heard except their own breaths which were greeted with the sound of crickets beside the humble house.

"It feels like Umi wants to meet Nadia. Wanting to apologize to her, and hearing for herself she forgave Umi," Ain said in a speech. He could not close his eyes at the thought of his sins against Nadia.

The creeping began to close, opening his eyes again. He squeezed Ain's arm gently. He knows for himself what mistakes he made. All this happened because he married Nadia. If he hadn't made a deal with Sarah, maybe his little family wouldn't have fallen apart.

"Nadia is happy"

"For that Umi is afraid to disturb him," Ain said quickly understood the direction of her husband's conversation.

"So, what will Umi do?" tanya Ikram dropped a glance at his wife's head.

"Umi doesn't know."

"Oh, go to sleep first. We'll think again about how good it is." The cream went sideways. He clenched Ain's body to fall asleep immediately.

*****

The warmth in the morning that they longed for, from that day they got back. The sound of frying pitted against a spatula adorned the dawn of the house.

When Ikram and Bilal go to pray in the mosque, Ruby helps Ain prepare breakfast. Only the youngest Lust has not met his mother.

"Eye?" The hoarse call from the direction of the kitchen door made Ain turn his head. He smiled, and brought his feet closer to the crying Nafisah.

"Darling!"

"Eye!" Nafisah hugged Ain's neck as the woman squatted before him. The pace of his crying became to spill the longing that he had been craving for several months.

"Enjoy! I miss Umi, why did Umi go so long?" said faltering. Ain himself could not help but cry. He has no answer at this time.

"I'm sorry Umi, son. Sorry Umi!" That is all he can say. He took Nafisah into a sling and sat her in a chair. Ain sat down in front of his youngest daughter. He held the small hand, and stared at Nafisah's plain bead.

"Now Umi is here, what does Nafisah want?" tanyanya while wiping the tears of Nafisah that still fell broke.

The little girl shook her head, still as unwilling. He hugged his neck again. I miss the warmth of the woman who gave birth to him.

"The story is just about Umi. Umi don't go anymore, don't stay Nafisah again. Nafisah doesn't want Umi to leave again, won't!" Fierce, Ain's heart. He returned to tears, but soon he was swept away. His back shook his breath gently, his head shook incessantly.

He kissed the child's head, and held it softly.

"Umi won't go anywhere, Umi won't go anymore. Umi will stay here with Nafisah, don't cry anymore." Ain vibrating.

Ruby, who was standing not far from them, also felt moved. He rubbed the corners of his eyes that were also watering. He himself did not refuse, his heart also missed the figure of Ain who had long left them.

Inwardly stupefied ever defiant at Uminya. In fact, it was all done because of the pain in his heart that Ikram had inflicted. Of all the events, he has learned a lot. As soon as a woman accepts her fate in terms of sharing love, her heart still feels pain.

Blind jealousy, the sense of injustice from the husband's attitude, the pain of seeing his honey smile, while his own heart suffered. All of that caused him to not be able to accept the fate of being cheated by Ikram.

One thing Ruby regrets, Ain takes the wrong path by asking Ikram to marry Yuni just to make Nadia feel the same pain as him. Ain's greatest stupidity in life which he himself deeply regretted.

"Assalamu'alaikum!" The sound of Ikram and Bilal's greeting stopped the novelty in the kitchen. Ain moved after kissing Nafisah's forehead.

"Wa'alaikumussalaam!" He welcomed the Kram with joy. He served food on the table, not forgetting he made coffee for his beloved husband.

"Abi, Umi's here. Has Abi met? Has Abi hugged Umi yet?" The plain question of Nafisah brings another feeling to the heart of Ikram.

Has Abi hugged Umi?

The little girl wanted her parents to return to harmony like they used to.

"Abi should hug and kiss Umi so that Umi does not go back from home. Abi wants to, don't you, do it?" The follow-up question from his youngest child was enough to rip off all the flavors in him.

The little girl wanted only Ain to be in her Abinya's life. No one else will make their little family split again.

Ain glanced at Ikram who was unmoved in his place, the man's gaze fixated on their youngest daughter who started to feed her breakfast. Very plain and holy. There are no lies nor envy and envy. His breath was still completely pure, his desire was only simple.

"Abi will do what Nafisah asks. Abi won't make Umi go away from our lives again. I won't!" he said he held a vibration in the mouth when saying that.

"The man must keep his promise!" Bilal snatched speaking as a man. Ikram turned his head, the maniknya collided with his son's who looked brave. Bilal is not a coward like himself.

"You are right, if the buffalo is held in the rope, then man is his speech. Abi will keep Abi's promise. We all learn from the past." Bilal smiled, that was the first smile I saw after all these years he hadn't seen it.

The full warmth of the flowers that sowed happiness filled their hearts. Hopefully this time Ikram really keeps his promise.

"What about Yuni herself, Mi?" ask Ikram after all the children left and there were only the two of them at home. Ain, who had just finished cleaning up the dishes they had eaten, dropped down beside Ikram sitting down.

"Does Abi still care about her? Just promised Bilal, now it's starting again," Ain's murmur did not accept. He still had jealousy in his heart.

Ikram sighed, he put the book he read on the table. His body sideways faced Ain who turned his back. Ikram pulled his wife's body into an embrace. Peeping the top of his head for a long time.

"Not caring, Mi. Abi just wants to know, is he released on parole just like Umi?" Ikram seduce, he does not want any more problems for the future.

Ain sighed deeply and threw it away violently.

"It's Umi's stupidity, Bi. Umi made the decision haphazardly without thinking of the consequences that would come. Yuni won't get her freedom, Bi. The article about the premeditated murder that ensnared him was very burdensome for Yuni's punishment." Ain slightly moved away from Ikram and looked at her husband.

Just wondering how the guy reacted to hearing the story about his honey first. Ikram did not respond because he did not consider it important.

"Oya, Bi, where is that Yuni boy now? She is not Abi's child, you know, Yuni was already pregnant when Abi married." Remembering the baby who was only a few months born Yuni. He felt pity, the baby was not guilty, but had to bear the sins committed by his mother.

"His caregiver took the baby to the orphanage, she put him there because she had to find another job" Ikram replied.

Ain mangosteen understand. He settles down on Ikram's chest, hooks their hands, and begins to form the intimacy that once disappeared from their lives. Hopefully in the future there will no longer be problems like those that have been passed.
