Sharing Love: The Suffering of the Second Wife
Mother's Attention

Since his meeting with Rai, Harith's uncle brought Nadia home. Not delaying anymore because the woman can be sure not to enjoy the holiday period.

"So stop by Mamah's house?" uncle Harits asked to break the silence.

Nadia shook her head, the desire to settle in the city was no longer there.

"We'll just go home, Mom. I'm tired" he replied. He dropped himself on the back of the chair looking for a comfortable place for him to close his eyes.

Uncle Harits no longer spoke, he focused on driving while occasionally glancing at Nadia who closed his eyes. Uncle Harits let out a long sigh, the cool honeymoon even became chaotic due to an accidental meeting with the man.

Hearing heavy breathing from her husband, Nadia opened her eyes. He moved and clung to that firm arm.

"We will continue in another city. Or going Abroad, it feels like a long time ago I did not go there," said Nadia as she looked at uncle Harits who was silent weighing.

"Mmm .. can. Which city do you want to go to?" sahut uncle Harits is excited again.

Nadia thought her brain was spinning around looking for the city she wanted to visit.

"Don't the beach, how about we go to the top." He put his hands behind Uncle Harith's body.

"Aren't you going abroad?" Nadia shakes.

"In our own country there are also many beautiful places to visit." She dropped her head on her husband's shoulder.

"Okay, we're going to the top."

A bone-chilling cold atmosphere greeted their arrival. The villa they rented was on a hill until the green view from the tea plantation looks beautiful from where they stay.

Nadia was standing on the balcony of her room, with a thick jacket enveloping her body she stared at the expanse of stars in the sky.

A hug warmed his body. The man dropped his chin on his wife's right shoulder. He kissed the woman's cheek with anxiety.

"You're cold, don't you go inside?" said it. Nadia nodded. It was late night, they both decided to rest.

For three days, the newlyweds spent time at the top. More in the room.

"Why? How, pouting like that?" god uncle Harits. He sat on the bed looking at Nadia who was packing.

"My joints are falling out, the veins in my body are stiff, my bones are all crumbling. Mas really, yeah, make me so lethargic."

Hearing Nadia's complaint, Harith's uncle chuckled. He folded his hands on his proud stomach.

"Now you know, right, that your husband is mighty!" Laughter echoed back from her direction when Nadia pursed her lips.

"Recure, come home today?" ask uncle Harits to make sure.

Nadia nodded weakly, she really looked lethargic. Uncle Harith felt guilty, it was all because of his actions that could not resist the urge when it came. He lifted Nadia's body up on the bed. The woman wanted to squeal, but her power had drained away.

"Rest for today, tomorrow we will go home. I'll refrain from asking for it." Uncle Harith rubbed his forehead, he also dipped it before moving.

"What do you want? Let me buy you, there's something I have to do here" asked Uncle Harits while wearing his jacket.

"I want some fruit juice, can you please buy it? Also cilok, it looks good," he said with a carefree smile.

"Lock the door, stay in the room and sleep!" said reminded. Nadia nodded, she moved to lock the door before slipping back into bed. Nadia's asleep.

The next day, they returned to Jakarta. Nadia's body condition is much better than before. It looks more fresh and cheerful. Nadia bought a lot of souvenirs for her children as well as people at home.

Arriving home, they were greeted with great joy. The children's laughter, their jest, Nadia misses him a lot. Tiredness on the way disappeared instantly comforted by their joy. The children were truly the most beautiful gift, the greatest gift of his life.

A month passed, and they were fine. The children were playing around more often in Nadia's house, Harith's uncle allowed her. Lately he is often late to go home because of his work piling up.

"Bi, cook what? What's this smell? Kok, it doesn't smell good, Bi," said Nadia with a pale face. He held his stomach, nauseous. Nadia ran to the bathroom in the kitchen, she spewed out her entrails there.

An anxious aunt came to him, she saw an exhausted Nadia. Both hands rested on the sink.

"Non?" call Aunt from the bathroom doorway. Nadia looked over, her face increasingly pale.

"Non Nadia's face is pale? What hurts? Or don't-don't .. a minute!" Aunt leaves a confused Nadia in the bathroom.

He decided to go back to the room, his appetite was gone. Nadia laid her body on the bed, she closed her eyes feeling a strange turmoil inside her stomach.

"What's up, Bi?" uncle Harits' mother asked when she saw Aunt in a hurry.

"Anu, Mum. Non Nadia seemed to be sick, her face was pale. Aunty wants to go to the pharmacy looking for medicine," replied Auntie who was taken by Mother.

"Nadia sick?" He muttered before deciding to see Nadia in his room.

Tok .. tok .. tok!

"Nadia, can you come in?" say Mother. Nadia opened her eyes, her weak condition unable to make her move much.

"Come, Mom. Unlocked," he said weakly. Hearing Nadia's weak voice, Mother felt anxious. Quickly he opened the door and grew even more anxious when he saw Nadia sitting leaning on the headboard.

"What do you feel, son?" mother asked after sitting on the edge of Nadia's bed.

"So just a little nauseous, Mom. Now it's gone" he replied.

Mom smiled, she lowered her head for a moment before lifting her face back up.

"First, Mom was like this .. Is there anything you want to eat? Let me tell people to find it," he asked attentively.

Nadia bit her lips. He sat down to weigh his face as to whether he should say it.

"Mmm .. no, ma'am, but if I may want to eat Mom's cooking," she said shyly. He did not even dare to lift his face so reluctantly to look at his mother-in-law.

Mother chuckled little, "No need to hesitate like that, I will make food for you. Just sit here, and wait for the meal to finish," she said, holding Nadia's hand warmly.

Nadia smiled, she nodded. His eyes warmed when the figure of Uncle Harith's mother reminded him of Sarah. He rubbed the water that suddenly fell from the corner of his eyes while looking at the back of Mother who was away.

"Eh ... Madam, what are you doing? Let me, Madam," cried Auntie as she returned to the kitchen from the pharmacy, she found Mom cooking.

"My son-in-law is sick and he wants to eat the dishes I made. So, let Nadia cook me. You help here, yes," asked Mother to smile kindly at Auntie.

Auntie's full, Mom's change was amazing. He who was originally arrogant, is now friendly and unpretentious.
