Second Time

GALEH AND LAURA

Laura walked out of the Dafa office, she walked alone on the sidewalk. Sometimes he wiped the tears that did not stop coming out of his eyes. Laura was limping, she was not paying attention at all. Laura continued walking until finally Laura's arm was strangled by someone from behind. Laura stopped her steps, turned her head and saw Rico standing without any expression behind her.

"What more do you want? Why keep following me?" Laura threw Rico's hand on his arm.

"Laura."

"Galeh, get away from me and never show yourself in front of me again." Laura's tears were getting more and more out of her eyes.

"Laura, I'm sorry."

"What are you doing? You tricked me and now apologize to me?"

"Laura, listen to me."

"No, get away from me now!" Laura spoke half-screaming.

"You're dead, whatever you are now, you're dead to me."

"Laura, sorry."

"Enough!"

"Laura."

"Is it not enough for you to destroy everything first? and now you're really breaking my heart."

Laura kept crying until Rico took her in his arms. Laura rebelled but eventually she ran out of steam and continued to cry in Rico's arms. Laura continued to cry, Rico just stroked her head until Laura's crying voice could no longer be heard.

"You may hate me, but please listen to me this time." Rico said as Laura calmed down.

"I'm thirsty." Laura said softly without saying Rico.

"Follow me."

Rico pulled Laura's hand slowly and brought her into a cafe around the place. Laura said, she said nothing. Rico ordered a drink for the two of them and took Laura to sit at the corner table of the cafe which was quite quiet, not many people there. After the order came, Laura immediately finished her drink, it seemed like she was really thirsty.

"Laura."

"Yes." Yeah."

"I'm sorry."

Laura simply remained silent as she stared at her empty drinking glass. His mind suddenly turned to the past, the time when he and Galeh were still together. They have been friends since they were in First High School.

Galeh is a smart and kind-hearted boy who doesn't have many friends. He who looks geeky is often disturbed by other children. From there Laura knew him, Laura was a child who actually had no smart brain but was very popular because she was beautiful and very confident.

Laura helps her from other children's disorders and makes Galeh a friend. Initially Laura is not very sincere, she wants to take advantage of Galeh because she knows that Galeh is a smart child. Laura hopes Galeh gives her help to raise her academic values. But over time, because of Galeh's kindness, they eventually became friends.

Laura turned into a more polite child since getting to know Galeh. His grades are also starting to rise and of course he is growing in popularity. Their friendship went all the way to college. Laura is getting brighter, but Galeh remains as he once was. Galeh is geeky, smart and kind. But behind his geeky nature he can already protect Laura from the interference of men who approach him with bad intentions.

Galeh always supported whatever Laura did as long as it was good. Laura who really wanted to become a model at that time tried hard to pass the audition to become a model. Galeh, who is actually the son of a rich man, helps him through the back, Galeh asks that the jury judge honestly and earnestly because Galeh is confident in Laura's ability.

Sure enough, Laura passed the audition, she started her career little by little. Laura who indeed has talent in the field is growing. As Laura's popularity grew, more and more people did not like her. Some people keep trying to bring her down, but Galeh is always behind Laura, protecting her.

Until one day an accident happened to Galeh, his car burned with the driver. Galeh was pronounced dead in the accident. Laura was questioned as a witness because the police suspected that the accident was a suicide. Galeh's alleged collision of his own car was reinforced because before the incident Laura and Galeh had a big fight. That's why Laura was examined for information.

Laura could not say much, other than she was shocked by Galeh's sudden departure she was also surprised by the fact that Galeh liked her. Galeh, his best friend, has long liked him, but investigators have shown some evidence of it. Until finally the case was closed with the conclusion that Galeh's accident was a case of suicide. The incident made Laura slumped, her career was declining. For a long time he did not appear in the media, lamenting the fate that happened to him and Galeh.

"Laura." Rico waved his hand in front of Laura's face making her flinch from her daydream.

"Galeh."

"Do you still want to call me by the name of Galeh?"

"Galeh, what really happened to you?"

"The story is very long. I'm not sure you'd listen to it."

"I've already met you, so I'll listen."

"Well, what part do you want to hear?"

"How did you survive that accident? and whose charred body is burning in there?"

"Is it true you crashed your own car? Did you kill yourself?"

"Do you believe that? Do I have the courage to commit suicide? Is it because I look so geeky that people think I killed myself. Cih, the investigation was very wrong."

"There's someone who wants to harm me."

"Then why are the DNA results exactly yours?"

"I don't know about it, whether it's a mistake or whatever it is, the DNA results are clearly similar to mine so the police concluded that the body was me."

"Then why are you with that guy?"

When I got back in the car, I didn't know if there was anyone in the car. He drugged me and took the wheel, took me somewhere. I woke up feeling shocks, somehow having my body moved to the back seat. "Then, how did you survive when the car caught fire."

"A few moments before it caught fire I got out of the car. I ran limping away from the car even though my whole body was crumbling."

"I kept running as far away as possible, for whatever reason I was so scared when I saw the car explode from a distance. I don't know the direction, nobody, I even thought that I might die of a beast in the forest."

"Who saved you?"

"Warp hunters."

"really?"

"Yes, almost thought I was a boar."

"You look like a wild boar. I want to laugh, but I'm sad."
