Today was really exhausting, I had a lot of things to do alone. The president was so drunk in love that he left his job to take care of the woman he was chasing. It felt lonely also when there was no Dafa, my work was done and I was at a loss what to do after this. Dafa has forbidden me from going to the hospital, so I really cannot go there. It was like I had a brilliant idea when I remembered Jane, I walked into Jane's room. Who knows, she's lonely because Grace isn't around. I knocked on the room and went inside, Jane seemed surprised to see me suddenly coming to her room.

“Jane.” I greeted him, he seemed to be busy with his work.

“Tu.mr Ken.”

“Hey why are you always surprised every time I come?” I chuckled at the expression on his face.

“Sorry, sir.”

“Sorry for what?

“What does a master need?”

“No, I just want to visit.” I sat on the couch without excuse.

“Jane, are you busy after work?”

“Really?” Jane rolled her eyes.

“Yes, you call me by name.. Who do you think? Liam oh yes Liam.” I managed to remember that name.

“I'm sorry, Ken. I was completely unconscious back then.” Jane's got her temple

“Yes, I know, is she your lover?”

“Not anymore.” Jane smiled wryly.

“Ah I expected, you looked very upset at that time.” I chuckled

“Did I really look stupid back then?”

“No, you just look like venting your feelings on me.”

“Pardon my silliness, Ken. Thank you for caring for me at the time,”

“No problem.” I'm nodding.

“Did that guy hurt you so much?”

“Hmmm I don't know, I don't know if I was hurt because of him, or because of my own expectations, or maybe both.” Jane doesn't look awkward to me anymore.

“But you are great, can be this strong.” I smiled

“I limped braced myself.” Jane chuckles.

“Be always happy Jane, that man must be sorry to leave you.” Suddenly the wise words came out of my mouth.

“I will always be happy.” She smiles.

“Good, be a strong woman.” I laugh.

“Do I have to join the martial arts, in order to be strong?”

“I mean your heart, Jane. Strengthen your heart.” I laugh.

“Oh.” He also laughed.

“What is your job still much, Jane?.”

“No, it's almost done, a little more.” He tidied up the papers strewn across his desk.

“Good.”

“Do you have no job, Ken. You've been relaxing since.” He chuckles.

“Yes, I've done everything.” I'm nodding.

“You're great, it's fitting that Mr. Dafa chooses you as his secretary.” She smiled, I just felt a little bit of flying praised like that.

“It's time to go home, have you finished.” I looked at Jane who was still busy cleaning up her work.

“A little more.” He's muttering.

I stood up to him and took care of the documents scattered on the table. I helped him compose the sheets of paper that turned out to be very much. Looks like Jane's also doing a lot of work today because Grace is sick. More than half an hour we cleaned up the documents until everything was neatly arranged.

“Thank you, Ken. Sorry to trouble you.”

“What's wrong, let's go to the hospital.”

Jane and I went to the hospital in our own car, it was very late afternoon when we got to the hospital. Jane walked quickly to Grace's room, I just followed her in the back. When he opened the door, the room was empty with no signs of life at all. Jane approached a nurse and asked.

“Sus, where is the patient in this room?”

“Home home, miss.” The nurse answered kindly.

"What did the nurse say?" I asked as Jane approached me.

"Grace is home." Jane looked at me

"Hmm, is he healthy?"

"Maybe?"

"Are you worried?"

"Yes, he hasn't called me yet." Jane glanced at the cell phone in her hand.

"Maybe he's busy, or maybe he's resting." I pretended to guess. I'm sure Grace must be with Dafa, but I didn't tell Jane. It was not yet time for this girl to know about Grace and Dafa's true relationship.

"Yes, it seems so." Jane nodded.

"You can see him at the apartment later."

"Yes, I'll be there after we get out of here." Jane nodded back.

"Jane."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Are you hungry?"

"Mmm, very." Jane smiled broadly.

"I am too." I chuckle.

"Let's eat a little bit." Jane looked back at me.

"Well, what do you want to eat?" I asked

"Come with me, there's a nice place to eat nearby." Jane pulled my hand suddenly, making me feel a little surprised.

Just so you know, my hand has never been held by anyone after so long, it's natural that I feel surprised. After breaking up with my fiancee, I never got in touch with anyone. Not because I haven't been able to move on, but because I haven't found the right person yet. You can imagine the state of this hand may have been dusty and rusty, it is not surprising also if there are spiders nesting there.

And now this girl just clasped my hand without thinking about anything. Does he know how I feel right now? It felt a little strange when my hand was back in the hand of a woman.
