THE COMPLICATED PAST

Grace had not closed her eyes, and she was just sitting on the bed. His mind floated, he was not completely consumed by the actions Ethan had done to him. That man really made her sick now. Grace recalled a flash of her past life.

Ethan, the man she was introduced to a few years ago, is the son of a friend of Grace's father. Ethan who first showed his love for Grace always treated her well. Grace, who has no feelings for Ethan, tries to reciprocate Ethan's treatment.

Grace runs out of Ethan's apartment, her face red. She was so angry with what she saw, there were no tears streaming down Grace's cheeks, she wasn't crying, she wasn't sad, just her heart was a little sore. Not because he has feelings for Ethan, but because he feels humiliated by Ethan's behavior.

Grace feels like she's wasting her time trying to love Ethan. Although Grace doesn't love Ethan, Grace doesn't love other men either, she never plays around behind Ethan's back. Grace always tries to do her best in their relationship. Grace even sacrifices her feelings to stay in the complicated loop of her relationship with Ethan.

Ethan, who realizes Grace's whereabouts, immediately runs after her. Ethan leaves Elea feeling a little surprised by the incident he just experienced. Elea actually liked Ethan long before Ethan got in touch with Grace. Elea always shows her feelings of joy in front of Ethan, but Ethan does not care at all.

Elea goes to great lengths to get Ethan, and it turns out that her hard work has really paid off. Ethan is in her arms now, Elea even intends to have Ethan completely and snatch him from Grace.

Ethan manages to catch up to Grace, she tightly blocks Grace's arm. Grace tries to let Ethan's hand off violently. He was really embarrassed by what he witnessed today. He really wanted to curse in front of Ethan's face at the moment.

"Grace, listen to me." Ethan begs.

"I don't want to listen to you anymore." Grace tried to speak as calmly as possible. He tried to quell his anger.

"I'm sorry, it's not what it really is." Ethan looked at Grace's face.

"Oho then what it looks like, are you drunk or have you been framed? Do you want to tell me that ridiculous excuse right now." Grace laughs.

"Grace..."

"Enough Ethan, what I saw today proves who you are." Grace grinned.

"No Grace, that's not true." Ethan keeps trying to hold Grace.

"Grace please don't leave me, I love you so much." Ethan keeps holding Grace's hand.

"Never dream of Ethan."

"No Grace, I'll do anything to keep you from leaving me."

"No need, you don't have to do anything else for me. You just have to get out of my life, Ethan." Grace releases her arm from Ethan's grasp.

"Grace please." Ethan lost his word.

"Enough, come back to Elea, she must be waiting for you to continue the game." Grace grinned and walked quickly away from Ethan.

Ethan froze, he could no longer defend himself. Obviously he made a huge mistake, and Grace watched him with her own two eyes. Ethan curses himself inwardly for his fatal recklessness. He returns to his apartment and instantly expels Elea, he has already lost interest in the woman.

Ethan had not appeared to Grace for a long time after the incident, and now he somehow returned to Grace's life. Ethan even forces Grace back to him.

Grace took a deep breath and exhaled it violently, she smiled wryly in light of the events back then. Although she felt humiliated, Grace felt grateful for the incident, she managed to escape from the complicated relationship she lived. Somehow Grace felt a butterfly flying in her head as she recalled that. Remembering Dafa made him forget the unpleasant things that had happened today. Grace was unconsciously biting into the blanket she was holding right now. Grace hit her head when she realized what she was doing.

Have I gone crazy? Inner Grace, she immediately threw herself down and entered the blanket while continuing to smile. Before long Grace had already fallen asleep to a realm that brought her to peace.
