Today I was in a hurry in everything, from leaving for the office to the hour of coming home from work. I don't know why I'm so busy today, Grace is at the branch office taking care of something. I hurried to tidy up the last few documents before heading home to work. After work I had to stop by the shopping mall, I had a lot to buy today.
I drove my car out of the office to the shopping mall. I walked quickly and went into a supermarket. I want to buy up all the necessities for my dwindling survival. I used to shop with Grace, but Grace was also so busy at the branch office today that she couldn't keep me company.
I walked alone through this vast mall. I entered several clothing stores, but none of them caught my interest. I went back to look at the clothes in the storefront, just as not to interest me. I breathed rough, this is because Grace didn't come. Usually Grace gives recommendations for clothes that are suitable for me.
I decided to buy food first, after I thought it was enough that I bought other supplies. I took a full trolley to the cashier and paid for it. I walked slowly away from the supermarket to the car park. My hands were full of huge shopping bags, several times I paused for a moment because these items felt heavy.
I dragged my feet slowly so that these shopping bags would not fall out of my hands. My arms ache, I cursed this mall because it is too wide, from the supermarket to the parking lot felt very far because I brought a lot of stuff. I stared at the exit that had been reached by my eyes, soon reaching the parking lot.
Suddenly I accidentally hit someone so that made my groceries and groceries fall scattered. I pounded my forehead with my palm because of the carelessness I made. I have to pick up and tidy up my fallen things. The man also picked up his things quickly.
"I'm sorry." I glanced at the man at a glance while picking up my things.
"What's wrong, not your fault." He also kept picking up his things.
"I'm in a hurry."
"Yes, be careful next time." She smiles.
"M." Mmm." I nodded and returned his smile.
Finally everything was tidy again, me and the man took back our groceries. I apologize again and say goodbye to him. He just nodded and smiled at me.
I walked slowly back to my car park. The distance that was close still felt far, I cursed myself why I did not bring the trolley just to the car. Why I choose to trouble myself. Rice has become porridge, there is no point in me regretting my own carelessness. I laughed at myself until I finally got in front of my car, I stroked my chest softly because I was relieved.
I arranged my things neatly in the trunk, but I heard the voice of someone behind me. I turned to the source of the voice, and the man I hit walked quickly up to me. He seemed to be waving his hands at me.
"Miss, wait." He was in front of me.
"What's wrong?" I knit both my eyebrows.
"It looks like your stuff." He handed me a shopping bag.
"My point?"
"Yes, it looks like it's switched to my stuff." The man pointed at the shopping bag in the trunk of my car that was still open.
"really?" I opened the contents of the shopping bag given by the man, sure enough this is my stuff, my face immediately shamed embarrassed.
"Yes." Yeah." The man nodded.
"Oh, God. I'm sorry." I patted my forehead looking at the contents of the shopping bag.
"It's yours, isn't it?"
"Yes." Yeah." I'm nodding.
"I tidied up my stuff, but I found it. I don't know what it is but I think it looks like yours."
"Yes, thank you." I'm grateful he didn't know what it was. If he finds out, I'll be very embarrassed. Of the many items, why should the pads are switched anyway.
"Together." The man nodded.
"Mmm, which one is your thing?" I showed the shopping bags in the trunk. I didn't recognize him because there was so much stuff there.
"Here we go!" The man took out a shopping bag and opened the contents.
"Is your stuff right?" I looked in the shopping bag.
"Yes." Yeah." He's nodding.
"Is it a shirt?"
"Yes." Yeah." He nodded back.
"Alright, I'm sorry I bothered you."
"It's okay, it's not just your fault." She smiles.
"I'm often careless." I chuckle.
"Maybe you're just a lot of payload earlier." The man chuckled.
"It turns out you didn't make it." She laughed
"Yes." Yeah." I nodded, unintentionally looking at his face, very handsome.
"What's your name?" He looked at the name tag that I forgot to take off.
"It." I raised the name tag and showed it to the man.
"Jane?"
"Yes." Yeah." I'm nodding.
"Hey, your name on your name tag and pin is different." She smiles.
"Oh, this? It's a pin from the office that's working with our company." I pointed to Date Group's pin.
"Oh, you work at Eiregin Corp?"
"Yes, I nodded."
"Wait a minute, isn't the parent company in Singapore? I know there's a branch company here."
"You know it." I chuckle.
"Yes, the company is very famous."
"really?"
"Of course, do you work at the branch office here?." The man smiled sweetly.
"No." I'm shaking.
"So?"
"I work in Singapore." I smile.
"Well, you're so great." He clapped a little.
"Hey, why are you clapping like that?" I chuckle.
"Because you're great." She laughs.
"It's normal." I smile.
"Have you just humbled yourself?" He chuckles back.
"No, should I elevate myself to the equivalent of an electric pole?" I chuckle.
"Hey, that's not what I meant." The man laughed.
"I think so." I'm laughing too.
"Jane, look it's getting dark. You better get home soon." The man called my name for the first time.
"Yes, I have to go." I nodded and closed the luggage door.
"All right." She smiles.
"Thank you."
"Yes." Yeah."
I got in my car, ready to leave. The man looks still standing in his place waving his hands as if we were already very familiar, when we first met. My car was going slowly, but I felt something was forgotten. I stopped my car and opened the window. I poked my head, I saw it was still there.
"Hey, what's your name?" I shouted at the man.
"Andres." He screamed back and smiled.
I waved my hand and drove back to my car. It's getting dark I want to get to the apartment soon. I want to take a warm bath and get some rest.
