Grace came back to Singapore yesterday, only one day I missed her so much. Ever since Grace came back here, I can't be further away from her. I want to always be around him, when he goes far away I'm afraid he doesn't come back. I decided to catch up with him, I asked Ken to arrange a business trip to Singapore even though my plan was to see Grace.
Ken and I arrived in Singapore late in the afternoon, and I sent Ken to the Eiregin Corp office, not to visit the company but to look for Grace. I waited in front of his office, sure enough, before long I saw Grace coming out of the office and driving her car out of the office. I immediately told Ken to follow him wherever he went.
Grace parked her car in a cafe, I saw her sitting at one of the tables by the wall. His face is very clear because the walls of the cafe are almost entirely of glass. I observed Grace from the car she was seen waiting for her order alone. Moments later the waiter came to bring her order, I saw Grace enjoying her meal alone, she did not pay attention to her surroundings and just focused on her food. Not long after Grace moved out of the cafe, she returned to drive her car drove somewhere. I immediately told Ken to follow him so as not to lose track of Grace's car.
Grace was seen stopping at a fairly large bookstore, unable to observe it from the car, and I invited Ken to come inside the bookstore. We watched it from a safe distance, Ken and I covered our faces with books pretending to be reading because Grace looked at us several times. Grace had been in the bookstore for a long time, no matter what book she was looking for. Ken was getting tired of waiting, several times he complained to me to end this detective activity. Late in the evening, Grace walked out of the store carrying several large bags of books she had bought.
Grace restarts her car on the street, stopping at the city's biggest shopping mall. Ken and I followed him back into the place. Grace had entered a different store several times, a lot of things she had bought this time, me and ken of course kept an eye on her. Sometimes Ken and I disguise themselves as a dress shop mannequin if Grace looks at us.
“Daf, this is already the twelfth store we entered.” Ken constantly complained
“Calm down, Ken, it's getting night maybe soon he'll be home.”
Sure enough, after shopping for groceries Grace walked quickly to where she parked her car not far from our car. Ken and I entered the car watching Grace putting her groceries in the trunk. Grace just wanted to open her car door and suddenly someone pulled her hand. I was surprised to see him, the guy that night was back bothering Grace, me and ken kept watching them.
I sharpened my hearing so that their conversation could be heard clearly by me. I repeatedly complained that the man kept forcing Grace to come back to him. Grace seemed to hate the man so much, she kept trying to remove his arm from the man's grasp. I saw the man start to lose his wits, the man kept pushing Grace until she hit the windshield. Grace looked really scared back then, I couldn't bear to look at her anymore and got out of the car immediately. I immediately approached them followed by Ken behind me.
The man cursed when he saw me, but he was completely out of words because I claimed Grace was mine. I'm sure she can't defend herself because she's clearly wrong to have been bothering people's lovers.
Grace asked me to stop at a city park, I obeyed her and stopped the car. Grace was sitting in a garden chair, and I was sitting next to her. He looks so gloomy at the moment, I just keep looking at him. Ken gave Grace some mineral water, I don't know where the kid got it. Grace thanked me several times, I nodded and smiled at her.
The night was getting late, I invited him home. I got out of my seat, and Grace's hand suddenly blocked my hand. I turned to Grace, her eyes glazed over at me, she could no longer hold it in, Grace began to cry as she pleased. I sat back down and rubbed her shoulders gently trying to calm her.She was crying on my shoulder, it hurt my heart to see her like this. I remember when I hurt her first, whether she was hurt like this too, it felt like my heart was getting sick to imagine it.
God, just punish me for my mistake with Grace first.
I saw that Grace had calmed down, there was no sound of her crying, I let go of my arms on her shoulder, I tried to hold myself back for fear that Grace was uncomfortable. Though it felt like I really wanted to hug her tightly at this moment, and say I would always be there for her. But I threw away my hope, I have to be patient until the time comes. I immediately took Grace home, and Ken and I drove Grace home.
Grace's mother opened the door, looking surprised and worried when she saw her son coming home with a lethargic face and puffy eyes. Grace's mother let us in, she went to take Grace to her room first. Moments later Grace came back to see me and Ken. We talked to him for a while before finally returning to the hotel where we were staying.
Grace's mother obviously still knows me, because I used to see her a lot when I went to Grace's house or just asked for permission to pick up Grace. I used to be so close to Grace and I thought of her as my own mother. A few years passed and now that I've met him again, I don't know how awkward it feels to face him again after such a long time.
I really wanted to share a story back with her and I really wanted to ask about Grace about what she went through so she no longer knew and remembered me. But I was completely at a loss for words, my tongue was crazily unable to say anything. Let it be that maybe someday I'll find out everything I thought. I came home feeling bad, facing his mother only now I am very nervous, especially if I have to meet his father. I tried to close my eyes on the way to calm my messed up thoughts.
