UNCONSCIOUS

Dafa smiled to himself staring at his tablet screen, he was watching a video sent by Ken. Dafa did not expect that Grace was as brave as it was to prank Laura. Dafa just shook his head to look at it while laughing. That girl is a little silly sometimes, Dafa thought. But in Dafa's deepest heart, he hoped that Grace's words would actually happen.

"I think Grace can handle it, Daf. You don't have to worry. My people are also keeping an eye on them." Ken says.

"Yes, I want to see what Laura will do back after this." Dafa smiled cynically.

"Maybe he's planning something back. Why is he so obsessed with you, Daf? Are you that attractive, huh? Ken sneered at Dafa.

"I'm really interesting, Ken. But only Grace can have me." Dafa chuckles.

"Are you sure, huh?"

"Of course." Dafa smiled.

Ken only muttered as he sneered at Dafa who was always feeling confident, he noticed that Dafa was playing the video over and over again. I don't know how many tens of times he repeated it. Dafa seemed happy when Grace said the words that they would be lovers even though Dafa knew it was just a joke.

Between love and stupidity. Inner Ken sneered.

"Ken."

"What?" Ken turned to Dafa.

"Don't let Grace get hurt."

"I'll make sure." Ken nodded.

Ken walked out of the Dafa room, he walked into his room. He forgot that he had a lot of work to do. Ken was busy with his work until lunch break arrived. Ken left his job and went to Dafa.

"Daf, are you going to lunch now?"

"Because I'm so busy, can you bring me my room lunch?."

"Hmmm all right." Ken walked out of the Dafa room, he headed for the company cafeteria.

Ken ordered some food in the cafeteria, suddenly his eyes accidentally looked at Jane who was eating alone at a corner table of the canteen. At first he was going to have lunch in the room with Dafa, but seeing that Jane was alone he abandoned his intentions. Ken took his food to the table Grace was sitting on.

"Jane." Ken sat across from Jane.

"Tu.mr Ken." Jane was a little surprised.

"You alone?" Ken looked around looking for Grace.

"Yes." Yeah." Jane chews her food.

"Where's Grace?"

"It's in the branch office."

"Why don't you come?"

"A lot of work, sir." Jane smiled.

"Is that so?" Ken fed the food.

"Jane, this is for you." Ken gave a keychain in the shape of a lion's head that he bought in Singapore.

"Forku?" Jane pointed to herself.

"Yes, from me, I didn't have time to give it yesterday." Ken smiled.

"Sir, sometimes you're a little silly." Jane chuckles.

"Why?" Ken knitted his brows.

"I live in Singapore, sir. You give me souvenirs from my dwelling." Jane played down her laughter, she did not want to get a look of attention from other employees because of her friendship with Ken's secretary if she laughed out loud.

"Oh my God, I forgot Jane." Ken hit his own forehead with a palm.

"It's okay sir, I like it, I don't have anything like this." Jane twirled the keychain with her hand.

"It's good that you like it." Ken smiled back.

"Wah-wah turned out to be lit up, it was beautiful." Jane was surprised when she accidentally pressed the button behind the lion's head, the lion immediately lit up with a colorful light.

They seemed to talk for a long time while eating lunch to the toilet. Jane left because she wanted to go to the toilet. Ken looked at Jane's back, who was getting further away, without realizing he was smiling, looking at her. Suddenly Ken flinched from his daydream, he forgot something.

"Ken, you've been a long time, have you deliberately starved my pet worms?." Dafa snorted in annoyance.

"I'm sorry, Daf, suddenly I have something to take care of." Ken scratched his non-itchy nape.

"That's your excuse, Ken." Dafa sneered. Ken's just a whiny couldn't argue.

"Just eat it first, I'll be back in my room." As fast as lightning Ken returned to his room. He did not want to hear the ramblings of Dafa which would later breed.

Ken sprawled himself on the sofa of his room, his eyes staring straight at the ceiling. His mind floated everywhere, suddenly the loneliness reappeared. Ken took a rough breath, he got up and took his phone, contacted someone.

"Hello, Mother?"

"Keenan? How are you, baby?" There was a soft voice across there.

"I'm good, mom. What about mom? is your leg healed now?"

"Yes, mom's legs are healed, mom's very healthy now."

"Did Dad go to work again?"

"Yes, he's gone for two weeks." Mother replied.

"When did you retire mom? it's time she accompanied mom every time without ever having to go again." Ken seduces his mother.

"A few more years, Ken. Your father will belong to the whole mother." His mother chuckled back at his son's jokes.

"Where are Grey and Gretta's mom? are they home?" Ken asked his twin sister.

"They're tutoring for the end-of-school exam, Ken."

"Oh well, I'm going back to work mom. I love you."

"I love you too."

Ken hung up, he put his phone back on the table. Ken re-energized himself, he had called his mother but the loneliness did not go away. Ken felt astonished, usually after calling his family his heart did not feel lonely anymore. He felt that something was wrong with him lately.

Ken got up and walked towards the window, he stared at the buildings around his office. Ken was silent for a long time, no matter where his mind was anchored, he also did not know. Ken woke up from his daydream when he heard a knock on the door in his room. Ken walked up and opened the door.

"Jane?" Ken was surprised to see Jane in front of his room.

"Sorry to interrupt, sir."

"What's wrong, what's wrong?"

"I was asked to leave this to you, he said to hand it over to Mr. Dafa."

"From Grace?" Ken stared at the pile of documents Jane was carrying.

"Yes, sir." Jane nodded.

"Is Grace not back yet?"

"Not yet sir, he said there was still something he had to finish there."

"Well, I'll give it to Dafa."

"Thank you sir."

"Is there anything else you want to tell Dafa.?" Ken looked at Jane who was still standing in front of him.

"No sir."

"Do you want to stop by my room first." Ken smiled

"No sir, thank you. I'll be back in the room." Jane bares and passes leaving Ken who is still looking at her with a smile.

Ken continued to smile at Jane until she disappeared from his sight. Somehow his loneliness evaporated instantly, but Ken did not notice it at all. He went back into his room, picked up his cell phone and walked out again. He walked towards the Dafa room while carrying the documents Jane had given him. Ken did not stop smiling until he entered the Dafa room.
