James came home feeling unsettled. All his life seemed to be turned upside down. His job, his future, his relationship with Celine. Somehow he had to tell this incident to his parents.
To Celine, he was sure he would not be able to tell this directly. To see Celine's face alone, he didn't dare. His heart was filled with guilt.
With that mumbling mind James rode his motorcycle home. Of course it makes him not too focused on the condition of the road in front of him. He did not realize that he was wrong to take the path, until finally a voice sounded that restored his consciousness.
Tiiinnnnnnn !!!! The sound of a horn is sounded by a car that only lives 100 meters in front of him.
James's face paled. The distance of the car with him was quite close. Did he avoid a collision?
Ciiiiittt .... James immediately stepped on the brakes while changing the direction of the bike. Apparently, the Car Driver also reflexively stepped on the brake pedal. The sound of friction tires of both vehicles with asphalt caused a fairly deafening squeak on the road.
Until finally the two vehicles managed to stop perfectly in slightly crossed conditions. Accidents were avoided. James let out a sigh of relief and offered his thanks. Apparently his life was still given credit by the Creator.
Shortly after, the roof of the white sports car opened. From there came a girl dressed in fashionable sunglasses.
"Woo!!! If you want to die, don't bother the dong!!" exclaim The Girl.
James immediately took off his helmet and countered the girl's call. "Sorry .... I'm less focused."
The girl looked up at the driver of the motorbike she almost hit. He took off his sunglasses and said, "Sir James?"
"Rebecca?" reply James was no less surprised.

Rebecca and James finally chose to hang out first in the cafe while exchanging stories. Apparently Rebecca was on her way to college. But because there was such an event, he finally gave up (read: lazy) to not go to college to accompany his former teacher.
"How are you, Bec? It's been two years not met, suddenly already featured with a sports car. Though it was always ushered the driver to school, "said James open the conversation.
Rebecca smiled realizing that her teacher noticed her coming and going to school. The call to him at this time also turned more relaxed.
He still clearly remembers how Mr. James used to always call him with one complete word 'Rebecca', which is impressive there is a distance between them. Maybe now Mr. James no longer considers him a student, but rather an acquaintance or friend.
"My news is good, sir. Successfully become an independent woman as you can see. I did learn to ride a car and try to have a SIM after graduating SMU, sir. Let's go anywhere by myself. It doesn't have to depend on people!" rebecca replied with a grin.
James was amazed by the mindset of his former student. She was proud of Rebecca being what she is today.
"What's your busy life now?" ask James.
"Fourth semester lecture at Business Management Department, Sir. I was just on my way to campus when the incident almost collided with you. Because of you, I was truant, "wanted Rebecca Ngasal.
"Ah, that's mah emang uda you have to. The same incident I just make an excuse, "sinir James who immediately made Rebecca giggled.
"What was it like in college? Can you follow the lesson well?"
"Safe, Sir. Just what I love, the campus atmosphere is too rigid, sir. Lecturers uda on old. No one is young and innocent like the Father, so it's not exciting!" rebecca's lips.
Hearing that James laughed. It turned out that this was what Rebecca had thought of him. It was only fitting that this attitude of his disciple could be said to be close to brash towards him. But because James knew Rebecca had no intention of doing so, he chose to silence her.
"How are the other Princess Gang? Is there a college with you?" James wanted to know about Priscillia et al.
"No, Sir. We're all scattered. Priscillia took up the Medical Department. Sharon took the law. The furthest one to go to college in France, Cecilia. She majored in Fashion Design."
James mustard hearing Rebecca's story. Apparently his students took the field according to the ideals they wrote in the future form during SMU.
Rebecca watched her former teacher for a moment before she finally asked, "Replace, sir! Don't ask about us mulu! What about your own father? Actually what happened to you to not focus on driving kayak earlier?"
James remained silent. When chatting with Rebecca earlier, for a moment her mind could be distracted. But now, Rebecca's question was like forcing her back to face reality.
James took a breath. It was hard for him to tell what could be a disgrace to him. Especially to his former students.
Rebecca could read James' doubts. "It .... Be honest, Sir. Father what's the matter? Sometimes I can help you. Even if you can't, counting can ease the heart .... Don't hold it yourself, sir! Obviously, you're almost wretched!" persuade Rebecca.
James took his breath back. He knew Rebecca's words had a point. But will this child come back to accuse and insult him if he already knows the problem?
James resigned. He chose to lighten his heart first. This was too much for him to keep to himself. It's up to Rebecca to think about it. He's no longer his teacher, is he? In fact, he was no longer a teacher now! He's been put away! James smiled wryly in light of the reality.
Rebecca listened attentively until James finished telling the story. Afterwards, with anxious expectation, James waited for Rebecca's response.
Rebecca simply fell silent while frowning. After a while, he opened his mouth.
"Cindy was ... If she just graduated now, then we had a chance to meet when I was in class XII, right?" ask Rebecca.
James was stunned to hear Rebecca's first response that was truly beyond his expectations. There are no accusations, insults, or even sympathy words. Rebecca did not even mention the accusations leveled at her at all.
"Yes. When you were in XII class, he just entered X class. You knew her?" James asked.
"No. I don't remember much of the class. All I remember is Vivian, the head of the Princess Lovers Gang, ", Rebecca replied.
James smiled. His memory floated at a glance when he faced off with the Princess Gang and Princess Lovers Gang who had caused him a headache at that time. He did not expect these things to be a sweet memory for him now.
But James did not allow himself to be swept away in the memories. Back he asked Rebecca related to her unexpected response. "Then, why are you asking about Cindy?" asked James in curiosity.
"Even if I don't know him, he knows us, right?" rebecca replied with a meaningful smile.
James's confused. He did not understand Rebecca's direction. Of course Cindy must know the Princess Gang who has become like a legend in SMU. Even for the students who are now, maybe only ever heard the story without knowing the form of the personnel.
"Have been. At the moment I can't do much. I don't know what to say either. Do you know what my tongue is? More poisons and knives than honey. I pray a lot, Sir!" rebecca said with her distinctive style.
James smiled wryly. Although there were no sweet words promising anything, or simply comforting and uplifting, James's lighter feelings received such attention from Rebecca.
"Sok your old man! You may remind me to pray a lot!" james said he was trying to relax.
Rebecca grinned. "This is a test for you so that you are reminded to pray diligently, right?" the answer is astul, perfunctory but really right.
James laughed as he nodded his head, realizing that there was truth implied in Rebecca's origin speech.
Seeing her teacher who was not as depressed as before, Rebecca said goodbye. "I went back to college, sir. No intention of skipping all day, either. We talk again sometime! Betewe (by the way, by the way), ask for Mr. dong's number! Can ga? I miss Father times. Or if you miss me, you can contact me first, "said Rebecca ceplas-ceplos.
"What do I ask for my number? Don't tell me you have a crush on me, too, "ask James in jest. But still he mentioned his HP number.
"Akwkwk .... Right now, sir. But we don't know next day. Don't you even have a crush on me first." Rebecca teased James back as her hand put James's number on her contact list.
James laughed again. "I told you, you're not my type!"
"Yes, the one who loves Celine is dead!" rebecca Ledek.
Hearing Celine's name being called, James' smile instantly faded. He remembered that he would hurt the girl in the near future.
Realizing that she chose the wrong word, Rebecca decided to flee and return to her original focus. "I'll go back, sir! By the way, I'm treated, right?" rebecca asked as she pointed at the drinks and snacks on the table they had ordered and spent together.
James smiled as he shook his head at the attitude of his former student on this one. "Yes. I paid for it. You return!" said James.
"Sipph! Dad is the best ! Wait I can find money, just replace me who treat yah .." said Rebecca while giving her thumbs up.
"Yes. That safe. I wait ..." reply James.
When Rebecca was about to step away from their table, James called out to Rebecca. "Bec, do you believe that I can do such a thing to my students?" ask James suddenly.
Rebecca who heard the sudden question was silent for a moment, like digesting James' question with her brain. It did not take long, he replied, "If you are fully aware or accused of such intentions, I am 100% in disbelief. The problem is that you are drunk. No one can be sure what a drunk person would do, right?"
James smiled bitterly at the answer. So straightforward and impartial. There is comfort as well as an indisputable statement. I don't know what the purpose was to ask Rebecca, because reality can't be changed. But hearing his former student's faith in him, he was amused a little.
"Yes. Thank you for your honesty, " said James sincerely.
Rebecca smiled. "Together, Sir. I'm first yeah ..." said Rebecca.
So Rebecca left James, who was still pensive at the cafe table alone.
