Wednesday is back. James passed the first and second lesson hours quietly in the teacher's room. He had just filled the lesson in the third to sixth lesson hours.
The first break bell rings. Suddenly Cecilia and Rebecca came to the teacher's room in a frenzy and hunting breath. They went to James without permission or greeting the other teachers.
Of course, it attracts people and makes them curious about what is happening. But Cecilia and Rebecca don't care. The only goal is one, look for Mr. James!
Arriving in front of James, the two struggled to speak with a frown. There was panic and sadness on both of them. James was confused. It was not usual for the two of them to behave like this.
"Quiet down! What was? Say slowly!" james said to the two of them.
They instantly shut up, let out a long sigh, then again voiced out with the same sentence, "Priscillia fainted, sir!"
Without much questioning, James followed Cecilia and Rebecca into the UKS space. Up there, he saw the door of the UKS room closed. Outside the room, Mr. Joseph and Dr. Lusi were talking. Seeing James coming, the two stopped their conversation.
"Sorry to interrupt your conversation. But may I know what happened? These kids panicked and looked for me in the teacher's room. But they can't tell the story clearly" James said of the reason for being there.
"I-it seems like I was wrong, Mr. James. Priscillia has asked permission not to follow the practice of sports. He even has a doctor's license. But I kept pushing him onto the field. I-I didn't expect and didn't understand why this could happen." Joseph explained nervously. He looked very upset and felt guilty.
"So now how's it going, Doc?" james asked Dr. Lusi.
"Priscillia is conscious. It was much better after I injected the medicine. I have reported his condition to his parents. They're on their way here. Most likely after they arrive, Priscillia will be taken to the Hospital for further examination and treatment" replied doctor Lusi.
"To RS? Is that how bad the condition is? What pain does Priscillia have?" asked James who had thought Priscillia had fainted due to the usual apoplexy as a result of not having breakfast.
"It can not be said to be severe, but it can not be underestimated as well. That clearly needs further monitoring to ensure that nothing life-threatening happens. For his illness I can not say because I have to maintain patient confidentiality," said Dr. Lusi.
Hearing of the possibility of endangering the soul, everyone who was there gasped. Cecilia and Rebecca were even about to cry.
"Then, may I come in to visit, Doc?" ask James.
"Priscillia doesn't want to be visited by anyone. Only Sharon was currently beside him. So finally me and Mr. Joseph came out after I made sure his current condition looks stable" replied The Doctor.
"Why?! We are also the Princess Gang?! Why just Sharon??!!" Rebecca asked hysterically.
Unbeknownst to those outside, Sharon and Priscillia heard all the talk from inside the UKS room.
"Pris, looks like we can't go this way. Pity Rebecca and Cecilia who knew nothing and suddenly felt unregarded. They worry about you too. What if we told Mr James first? Who knows, he might offer a solution. If you're ashamed, let me tell you. Agreed?" persuade Sharon.
"A-I'm scared, Shar .... I don't want to experience that again" Priscillia replied.
"We were kids then, Pris. And I don't think Rebecca and Cecilia would have done that to you. But, if you are in doubt, let's ask Mr. James' opinion .... You also have to admit that he is a good teacher and can be trusted, right?" said Sharon again.
Priscillia. He realized the truth of Sharon's words. Finally, with a heavy heart, he agreed to Sharon's proposal.
"alright. Bring Mr. James here. But you're the one who told me well." said Priscillia.
Sharon smiling. He knew Priscillia was forcing herself to muster up the courage to open this up. Something he's been covering up for years.
The door that suddenly opened made the people outside the room suddenly fall silent. Shortly after, Sharon's figure is seen saying, "Sir James, please come in."
Seeing that, Rebecca spontaneously took advantage of the opportunity to talk.
"We, Shar? Me and Cecilia? We can't go in?" he said with a disappointed, sad, and worried face mixed in. Cecilia who was behind him also came forward near the door.
Sharon smiled sadly. He understood Rebecca and Cecilia's feelings. But he can't do anything either. He needed Priscillia's permission to sort out who he wanted to meet right now. And Priscillia's condition is also not something that is easy to deal with.
"Prophey, Bec. Let Priscillia consult with Mr. James. Wait a minute ...." Sharon tried to calm Rebecca down.
"I'll try to talk to Priscillia. Let me know the situation and the problem first. Try to trust Priscillia more. He's having a hard time right now. Give him time. Okay?" James persuaded Rebecca and Cecilia.
Hearing James' words, Rebecca and Cecilia nodded their heads, then retreated in order. James then entered the UKS room and the door was closed again.
Arriving inside, James saw a figure lying on the patient's bed. His body was covered in a blanket from the tip of his foot to the tip of his head. Only a few strands of her hair that appear to come out from between the blankets that make James know that in it is a female figure, which should be Priscillia.
"Hi, how are you doing now?" james asked to greet the figure behind the blanket.
"It's much better, sir." Priscillia's voice came from inside the blanket.
"What actually happened? What are you sick with?" ask James gently.
"Let Sharon do the story, sir .." replied Priscillia.
James stunned. For the first time, Priscillia was relying on someone else to explain something. Even the one chosen was Sharon. The circumstances are very contrary to the events when they dismantle the behavior of Mr. Santo.
Although Priscillia was under the covers, James could feel how fragile Priscillia was right now. This he could tell from Priscillia's tone of voice when answering her question.
"alright. Sharon, may I know what's going on?" James repeated his question again, but this time it was addressed to Sharon.
"Priscillia has a sun allergy, sir. Disease name ... Por ... Ver... I don't know if I forgot, which is obviously also called Vampire Disease," replied Sharon. (noted: Sharon would like to call Variegate Porphyria or vampire disease, which is a rare genetic disease. Symptoms can appear in the form of complaints in the skin or nervous system, or both.)
Hearing of Priscillia's illness, James was shocked. He did not expect such a disease to exist. During this time Priscillia thought to avoid the sun only for trivial reasons, such as beauty, do not like heat, or again lazy to exercise.
"The first time this disease appeared when we were in class VI SD, sir. Priscillia's skin was suddenly red and swollen, but luckily Priscillia wasn't able to faint. But it makes Priscillia a month in school. Honestly speaking, Priscillia's appearance at that time was so bad and rather horrible. The friends who witnessed this saw Priscillia as a monster child.
It was a trauma for Priscillia. Therefore, we did not continue SMP there so that we could start a new beginning without anyone knowing this fact. It was at the new Junior High that we met Rebecca and Cecilia.
That's why Rebecca and Cecilia are not aware of Priscillia's disease, sir. They consider Priscillia's behavior all this time is just a behavior to maintain beauty or just play princesses only. But indeed it was also what we deliberately highlighted in order to hide the true facts." Sharon explained at length.
"Then, how was the story so that today this event could happen?" ask James.
"If today's events begin in this way, sir ...." Sharon started her sentence again.
