The engagement is over. An event that required two months of preparation, passed by in a matter of hours. Many impressions are stored in the hearts of everyone after undergoing this event. And so does James.


The guess he feared happened. The sizeable differences in status, wealth, and power between his family and the Adipratama family make his love and sincerity for Celine questionable. Most people would have guessed that he was a man who used Celine just to raise status and gain a splash of wealth.

After passing the administrative selection, James was faced with a competency test. This year's competency test uses a computer assisted test (CAT) system that is carried out in the offices of the State Staff Agency (BKN) both central and regional regions, according to the domicile of examinees. To pass, James must pass the threshold value (passing grade) that has been set by BKN.


The implementation of this competency test is divided gradually and takes months. After the implementation of SKD and declared pass, the competency test is continued with the SKB exam. SKB graduation was announced less than a month from the implementation of the exam.


Although James successfully passed the competency exam, it turns out the process of becoming a PNS is still long. The next stage James had to do was the blessing. The certification stage is a data collection process as in the administrative stage with the aim of setting the Employee Parent Number (NIP).


After James obtained the NIP, he submitted the Calculated Start Date (TMT) appendix, which would become the basis for the issuance of the Warrant for Carrying Out Tasks (SPMT). James then followed the CPNS reception ceremony and pledged/vows there.


As a CPNS, James began working according to the date stated on the SPMT. For the next three months, James attended the most Basic Training Education (Diklatsar) or Prajobatan. There he learned about the values of PNS and Kopassus state defense. In addition, he is also required to design an actualization that will be presented at the end of the class.


After Diklatsar, James entered work as usual. He just waited for the results of the Diklatsar he occupied. In order to be appointed as PNS, James must obtain a score above 70. If he graduates, he will get the Certificate of End of Pre-School Education and Training (STTP) stipulated by the Officer of Staffing.


Currently, he is entering the CPNS trial period which will last for 1-2 years. If the performance is assessed well by his superiors and declared physically and spiritually healthy by the Testing Team, then later he was allowed to follow the Handover Department (Sertijab) which became a sign that he officially became a PNS.
