Restore Your Smile
Cindy is gone

One day has passed. The day has changed. For some students, most of whom are from this elite class, maybe for the first time they welcome the day from behind the tent.

They were awakened by a siren before six in the morning. Students are required to participate in gymnastics together. Mr. Roy has stood firmly in the middle of the campfire area while hitching by using a megaphone.

Faces came out of the tent. Seen once their reluctance to follow gymnastics. The cold air of the mountains and the effects of sleep deprivation overnight, made them still miss their blankets.

But the event continued without caring about the complaints submitted by the students. The merciless supervising teachers forced their students to make a move.

It is different with Cindy. In high spirits he came out of the tent and was ready to do event after event. From morning gymnastics, bathing, cooking, breakfast, to finding firewood. All that he did with one goal, looking for his missing keychain.

I can't wait for the sun to rise. He hoped that with the light, it would be easier for him to find the keychain. His eyes had been watching every grass and ground he stood on.

Last night he was determined to collect every memory that happened between him and Mr. James during the camping. He no longer held back his feelings. He's too tired.

He chose to enjoy his cooperation with Mr. James to his full satisfaction through this event. This was his last chance with James, right? After this, he would not want to be separated. Didn't they?

Therefore, he also insisted on finding the keychain that Mr. James gave him. The keychain will be the only relic of the person he loves once the event is over.

But unfortunately, even here his efforts have not produced results. He has explored the area around tents, bonfires, baths, to the forest border where he looks for firewood.

Cindy has not given up. Maybe because while on the move, he is less focused on looking for it. Moreover, these items include small items. Therefore, he waits for free time later to try to search again more carefully.

Until the time finally showed at one o'clock in the afternoon. The free time Cindy was waiting for arrived. Many of the students returned to their tents to sleep or just laze around.

Their energy is partially drained from not being used to events and activities like this. Many of them are also sleep deprived overnight, because they are not used to sleeping in tents. They realize they need to charge their batteries to be ready for the next event.

Same with Wendy. From then on he continued to yawn. This did not go unnoticed by Cindy. As soon as they arrive at the tent, Cindy tells Wendy her plan.

"Wen, I'm out to find my keychain. Haven't seen her yet."

"Hm .... Need I to win ga?" ask Wendy with eyes that have stayed 5 watts.

Cindy smiled with the kindness of her best friend. "Ga. You just sleep. The eyes of uda sayu."

"Totally?" Wendy asked once more to be sure.

"Yes. Thank you so much, my bestie ! I can do it myself. Doain just let me see ya, " replied Cindy.

"Yes. Good luck !" wendy said as she gave her thumbs up.

So Cindy came out of the tent to begin her search. As soon as their tent was closed, Wendy's eyes closed.

...****************...

Wendy's awake. He saw his watch showing at 16:40. In the tent there was no one. He also left the tent.

Around the camp has started to crowded the students passing by. Some just woke up like him, some brought toiletries to the public bath, some had prepared ingredients and tools to cook dinner.

Wendy did not see Cindy among them. Hmm .. maybe Cindy is still busy looking for her keychain or the streets, thought Wendy. He returned to the tent to prepare the toiletries and headed to the public bath.

Until Wendy finally finished the bath and began to join her group of friends preparing dinner. He looked back at his watch. The time is 17:20. The sun had started to set and the sky was starting to feel orange. Wendy's getting restless. Cindy's not back yet.

He asked his friends if any of them had seen Cindy.

One of them replied, "So during free hours, I saw him wandering around here anyway. Again meratiin mulu land, kayak again nyari jatoh goods. But since I was sleepy, I went straight into the tent. I'm not wondering anymore."

Until then Wendy understood. Cindy must be looking for the keychain. The problem is, where do children look?

Suddenly he thought of James. Could it be that the teacher knew something? Could be Cindy seeing her favorite teacher, right?

After a brief moment to his group of friends, Wendy also speed up her steps to find James along the camping area. Turns out Mr. James was splitting firewood for campfire fuel.

"Good afternoon, sir!" greet Wendy as soon as she is near James.

"Sore, "reply James.

James was stunned to realize something. He also stopped his work. "Tumben alone. Where's cindy? You're always together, "ask James.

Finally Wendy told her of her anxiety. He told all of his talks with Cindy before, including about Cindy's efforts to find her missing keychain.

James listened carefully. After Wendy finished telling the story, she asked Wendy, "Could Cindy search out the camp area?"

"It's possible, sir. In my opinion, Cindy might re-explore to the waterfall area, because it was there that we went for a walk before Cindy realized the keychain in her waist bag was missing, "wendy replied.

"Then, maybe Cindy's preoccupation with looking until she forgets time?" terka James's.

"It's impossible, sir. He is stubborn and will likely look for it until he can. But Cindy's afraid of the dark, sir. He might not force the search until magrib is like this, " said Wendy.

James nodded in understanding. "In that case, it's good if we ask your group's supervising teacher first. If Cindy was looking for him to the waterfall, she would have to ask permission first, right? After all, the students should not leave the camp area alone. So, we can also tell who Cindy went with, "bid James.

"But, Sir. If Cindy gets punished for being late again how? I'll be blamed for complaining!" Wendy expressed her objection.

"Indeed he deserves to be punished for coming back late, right? That's better. Rather than let it go, but it turns out that nothing happened to him, how? If he gets angry at you, you can involve me. I'll give him some understanding" James explained.

Finally, Wendy agreed with her teacher's proposal. They also faced the group's supervising teacher together.

After dealing with her supervising teacher, Wendy asks Cindy about the Master.

"So around 3 o'clock, Cindy was indeed facing me, she had permission to go to the waterfall with her friends IPA children group. Apparently the kid hasn't returned?" ask their supervisor.

"No, Ma. By the way, I know who the IPA kids are that went with Cindy?" ask Wendy again.

"Mom doesn't know. Cindy didn't name her friends. He just asked for permission. I thought you were coming, too, "the teacher told Wendy.

"Then, Mom, me and Wendy will try to find the IPA boy who went along with Cindy. As for Mother, can you be prepared to contact the supervisory department of this mountain and camp area? Looking for a contact number that can be contacted to ask for help? There are children who are lost in the mountains. Moreover, the day has begun to dark, "policed James.

"Okay, Mr. James, "the teacher replied.

"We're going, Mom. I'll be back to tell Mom, " James said.

The teacher nodded in agreement. And without wasting any time, Wendy and James immediately went to the IPA children's tent area and met the supervising teachers of the groups there.

One of the supervising teachers answered James's question. "Some of my students had asked permission to go to the waterfall during free hours. But I didn't know they went along with the IPS kid or not. Let's ask. Please call Riana's group!" he said to one of the students who happened to be passing by.

The student who was asked to leave immediately. Moments later she returned with five other students.

As soon as they arrived near the Supervisory Master, the teacher immediately asked them, "Did you go to the waterfall with an IPS boy named Cindy?"

One of the students replied, "Oh .... The boy was named Cindy. Yes, Madam. Just as we were about to leave, there was an IPS boy who asked us for our destination. As soon as we said he wanted to go to the waterfall, he asked to be allowed to come. We asked him to wait a little while because he wanted to ask permission first to his supervising teacher."

"But the boy was weird. Already asked to be invited, no desire to join and mingle with us. He was alone exploring. Time just go, whether it's how many times he almost left behind, "so continued the other student.

"Where is the boy now?" ask James.

"We don't know. Last time we saw it was around the waterfall. As before, he did not look like he wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of the waterfall. He was busy separating himself to do his activities that I don't know what. Once we intend to return, he is no longer there. We thought she had come back first, " said the first student.

James and Wendy's heart was pounding even faster. Now they're almost sure something happened to Cindy.

After giving thanks and permission, James and Wendy went back to see their group's supervising teacher. Briefly and concisely, the two reported the outcome of the conversation to the Master.

With the latest findings like this, the emergency siren was immediately ignited. Division of tasks is done. Half of them were still asked to take care of dinner preparations. They were asked to cook twice the previous portion, in exchange for those in charge of assisting with the search.

The other half is divided into several groups. There was a group searching around the camp along with the female supervising teacher. Two more groups are searching the forest area with James and Roy.

A teacher had already reported to the supervisory section of the mountain area and the encampment. But since it was getting dark, they refused to do the current search, as it was considered high risk. They will look for the next day when the sun is light.

Hearing that, James and Mr. Roy agreed to continue the search by utilizing the sunlight that was just plain. They promised that if the sun had set perfectly and it was dark, they would stop the search for safety. Deadline for search until 18:30.

That's how Cindy's search was conducted. Wendy joined James's team. He felt that this teacher was more able to work together than other teachers. I hope Cindy can be found soon.

May you be all right, Cin .. Wendy's prayer in heart.
