Andreas Adipratama, the second son of the previous Adipratama family leader, Bramantara Adipratama. From childhood he was educated only to become a supporter of the Big Brother, who was chosen as the heir of the family company.

All his life has been arranged by the Father, from education to life partner. He married Rosita only for the sake of the progress of their company, where there would be a trade agreement between the two owners of the company. He considered it natural, because all his brothers also fared so.

Until finally his brother was blessed with a son. The first grandchild of the next heir has already appeared. The news was welcomed by his father and brother. Actually, he also wanted to participate in celebrating happiness sincerely. But the bottom of his heart apparently he can not lie. He again felt left behind, because in his marriage he was not blessed with a child.

He and his wife went to the doctor. There is nothing wrong with each one. Doctors say that the cause could be due to stress factors, so that the work of reproductive hormones is disrupted.

He did feel his wife was unhappy because she was trapped in this loveless marriage. So did he. Their relationship is flat. There is no sweet greeting or caress of love that season their marriage. Everything just goes because it has to go. Husband and wife relationships are based only on needs and obligations.

He tried to force himself to try to love the woman, but it was difficult. Neither the physical nor the personality of Rosita, nothing interested her. His face was ordinary and his demeanor tended to be flat. Rosita never smiled sweetly or acted spoiled to her. He never knew what the woman was thinking. Reason for reason sprang up, which made him not eager to approach his wife.

Rosita herself also looks indifferent to their marriage. There is no visible effort to fight more for the attention and affection of her husband.

She even refused to participate in the pregnancy program. He said joining the program would even increase his stress level. He chose to reduce stress by spending money on his social group or shopping.

The exit carried by his wife made Andreas even more disappointed. His pride is hurt. He felt that his wife needed his money more than spending time with him. He had already guessed that before. But this time it strengthened his belief.

When he has to go to Paris for business purposes, he accidentally meets a woman who catches his attention. She works as a waitress in a small restaurant.

From a reprimand of prized prank, the intensity of their meeting increased as long as Andreas was in the fashion city. Apparently a signal of interest sent Andreas, got a reply from the Woman. No doubt, love greets both of them.

In their introduction, Andreas was unwilling to acknowledge his status as a married man. She was afraid that the woman would leave her. But when the Beloved begins to ask the certainty of the direction of their relationship, he cannot lie to his conscience. Guilt hurts him. He finally acknowledged his status.

Allegedly proved. The woman left him and decided to separate. The woman even told him that he would no longer see her at work. The reason for that was because he did not want to be a destroyer of people's households.

At first Andreas felt he could accept the Woman's decision. He assured himself that it was a momentary love affair. Perhaps his soul thirsted for not getting affection from the Wife and needed an escape. Moreover, business affairs in Paris do not include important agendas of companies that require close monitoring.

So be as decided. Along with Andreas' return to the homeland, he was determined to forget the woman and return to the rhythm of his original life.

But the plan is a plan. The more he faced his wife's attitude, the more he remembered his former Parisian lover. The memories were too sweet for him to forget, even though they were only formed in a very short span of time. However disliked he must admit, this is the first time he felt the beauty of loving and being loved.

After three years of struggling to maintain his resolve, Andreas finally chose to give up. Whatever how the Ex-Lover would label him as a br*ngs*k man or what, he intends to go back to see him.

He was a little surprised to see the change in the woman he had not seen for a long time. His body looked thinner and his face did not shine as it did in his memories when they last met. But it cannot cover the charm that the Woman gives off.

I don't know what happened to him, Andreas doesn't know. But Andreas has resolved not to let go of it just like his previous decision.

The woman who was still working at the same restaurant, was surprised to see Andreas back to see him. But only there, because he did not warmly welcome the arrival of the man. His face clearly showed a sense of annoyance. He served Andreas only because of his obligation as a restaurant waiter who had no right to evict guests who were still acting within the limits of reasonableness.

Of course Andreas took advantage of the unwritten rule. Every day Andrew came to the woman and looked for a way to attract her attention. If on this occasion it does not work, then Andreas will repeat his struggle on the next occasion when he returns to visit the city.

And so on until finally the woman collapsed in the struggle of her second year. And something surprising happened, the woman took Andreas to her house and introduced herself as the father of the five-year-old boy she met there.

But finally his defense was broken to see Andreas who returned and tirelessly fight for his love. Coupled with the Son who began to ask about his father. He realized, his beloved son needed the presence and figure of a father. The five-year secret that he has been guarding is now dismantled.

Andreas immediately fell in love as soon as he saw Darrell. His fatherly instincts instantly appeared. In his shock, he realized he was so happy when he found out that he had a son. Without hesitation, he immediately hugged the boy who was still looking at him awkwardly.

Thus Andrew finally began to carry out his duties as a father. Every six months or at the latest once a year, he would definitely return to Paris to visit his little family. He also sent money regularly to finance their lives.

Only one thing was his regret. He dared not divorce his legal wife and bring his little family before his Father. He knew the Father would not be able to accept the woman he loved. Good thing Darrell's mom understood. The woman declares herself only to be an affair for the happiness of her son.

For two years Andreas enjoyed happiness with his Parisian family. But life is unpredictable. On his next visit, he discovers the harsh reality that the woman he loves is no longer in the world. Even the fact that the Beloved of Heart was gone two months ago. All he met on this visit was a cold headstone.

Apparently the woman had kept her illness a secret all this time. He also forbade his family to tell Andreas about the situation because he did not want to worry him. He has been on medication, but apparently that doesn't help. Death finally came to pick me up.

The event brought a new chapter. Darrell's grandmother handed Darrell treatment to him. Andreas also realized, there was no way he could rely on the old and sickly woman to take care of his granddaughter. Determined, he emboldened himself to bring Darrell back to Indonesia and meet his extended family.

His return with Darrell brings a stir in the Adipratama family. Indeed, no one can oppose his decision directly, because of the fact that Andreas had no offspring to inherit the results of his hard work so far. Mr. Bramantara Adipratama was also forced to accept Darrell because he needed another Adipratama grandson who had to accompany Dion to become the future heir.

But a forced acceptance, of course, will not end smoothly. Andreas and Rosita's relationship cools if it is not exactly frozen.

Andreas doesn't force Rosita to accept Darrell and thinks of him as his own son. He simply asked Rosita not to hurt the child and to keep a close eye on his child's basic needs when he was not home. Andreas realizes, however, that he needs the help of someone else's hands to look after and raise Darrell.

Their relationship was like a business deal. Rosita is free to use her money to spend and equip her social needs. As long as he is healthy and still able to work, he will try to finance the needs of his wife.

Andreas also realizes his father's blatant attitude distinguishes Dion and Darrell. The two boys are often compared. In Grandfather's eyes, Dion was his beloved perfect grandson. As for Darrell, there were only his mistakes that the old man could mention.

Indeed, Dion was an intelligent, lively, cheerful, and sensitive boy with the feelings of others. Its advantages made it easier for him to receive the affection of everyone who saw it.

Darrell is actually a smart kid too. However, the language barrier made it difficult for him to adapt early in his life in the Adipratama family. Not to mention the veiled rejection he felt from the attitude of those around him.

That makes Darrell a reclusive boy. He is used to holding his heart and has difficulty trusting others. And that eventually shaped his character.

Andreas can't fight for Darrell's rights any more in the middle of his family. Darrell was accepted as part of the Adipratama family only, he was already grateful. At least he can see his son is still considered potential for the future of the company when compared to Celine, the daughter of the Big Brother.

But apparently, humans are never satisfied. Something that was initially grateful for, is no longer grateful if it has been faced with the opportunity to get something bigger.

As already outlined when his father died, the position of the head of the family fell into the hands of his brother. The position of the heir shifted. Dion will be the next head of the family to replace Adrian Adipratama.

But apparently along with his maturity, Dion refuses to live a fated life. He chose to shape his own future as a painter. Of course it becomes a furore in the Adipratama family, especially in the stronghold of the Brother. And it was seen by Andreas as an opportunity to change his fate which has always been number two.
