Time goes by quickly. Two weeks almost went by. As usual, there was no word from Rebecca. Darrell had expected that. And back, he had to start the conversation.
In accordance with what he said before his father, Darrell is still working on his relationship with Rebecca. But if until this time there was no acceptance or development of any kind from Rebecca, maybe she would choose to step down. At least, he has given it a chance and has tried his best.
'I'll see you this weekend. Give time. Let me know the time and place.' That's the message he sent to Rebecca.
Rebecca's reply came. Very short and flat message. 'In the first cafe, Saturday at 4.'
This is how the two men finally meet again. This time it was the same as the first time they met, one on one.
Darrell, who had arrived at the meeting place first, welcomed Rebecca's arrival. "Please sit down, "he said as he pulled up a chair for the girl.
Rebecca did not reply nor did she refuse. His face was cold and flat. Nonchalantly, he sat down on the chair Darrell had prepared for him.
After Darrell returned to his seat, the man tried to open the conversation. "What's our show today?"
"Nothing, "replyed Rebecca briefly as she coded the waiter for a menu.
After ordering drinks and snacks, Darrell went back to looking for the topic. "How have you been doing these two weeks?"
"It's a habit." A flat answer came back out of Rebecca's mouth.
Darrell's getting tired. The Cat Girl really didn't give her a crack. If it can't be in a good way, it's better to just be ignited. He thought this was his last attempt to get close to Rebecca.
"Today there's no show with your friends?" ask her with a quip.
"none. They're busy." Rebecca was still trying to maintain her cold attitude.
"If you're not comfortable alone with me, you can call them again. Maybe you really need their help facing me, "challenge Darrell.
Hearing that sentence, Rebecca's expression changed. His eyes stared intently at Darrell. "I can still face you myself, "he sis.
"Oh yeah? The college isn't like that. You can't talk casually with me. You say you have fewer choices than I do who actually have the blood of strangers. If you can't be natural like an adult, admit it with a manly, kitty .." Darrell said with a mocking laugh.
"What do you want?! You asked me to prepare some time, I prepared. You asked us to meet, here I am now. Not enough?! Less satisfied?! Now want to set my attitude?! I have to be sweet to you?! Please yeah .... Don't dream! I'm not a hypocrite! Or do you want to take my papa again?" Rebecca is crunching like a machine gun. Emotions ignited.
Darrell heard Rebecca's barrage casually. He let Rebecca finish her sentence. He smiles. Yeah .... It seems better this way. At least there is honesty and can get to know the contents of each heart. Rather than spending time with just such a cold war.
After he saw Rebecca speechless, Darrell asked to make sure Rebecca had taken out her entire sentence. "Have you?" ask him while sipping the drink that has come.
"It's over!" rebecca replied in dismay, again trying to contain her anger. He wanted this guy to kick him out of the room. However, he must have been increasingly hostile to his father. And this rotten man again got more value from the Papa, because he remained patient and accepted his behavior. Oh .... It was clearly something he should avoid.
"good. Now replace me who speaks well, kitty .... Please listen and don't cut. You're being polite, right?" ask Darrell, more to corner Rebecca.
Rebecca could only fall silent and pursed her lips to contain the overflowing anger. His hands were tightly clenched beside the chair. He knew, facing this man could not use violence. It's only gonna benefit Darrell. All he could do now was increase the limit of his patience.
Looking at the silent Rebecca, Darrell continued his sentence. "I don't intend to bring your papa if indeed you can be invited to speak well. Basically, I do not like to bring parents to solve my personal problems.
Attitude matters, I'm not asking you to be sweet to me. I'm just asking you to be natural like an adult. You say you're not a hypocrite. But your attitude now just shows your hypocrisy, kitty ...."
Seeing Rebecca who did not understand and did not accept his words, Darrell tried to explain his sentence. "If you can't be relaxed, admit it. If you don't like this meeting, say. If you are more comfortable with presenting your friends, invite. Why must you force yourself to face me alone and lie to yourself, kitty ?"
Rebecca had already opened her mouth to refute Darrell's words, but she stopped him immediately. In his mind it was suddenly implied to make use of the word, rather than force oneself against it. Darrell's words actually have a point. And if he continues to resist only stubbornness, isn't it even more humiliating to himself?
"Yes. I don't like it! I'm not comfortable! I was forced because you threatened to take my papa with you! Of course I'd rather be with my friends than alone with you. So if I could invite them, I would!" i'm Rebecca.
"Yes already .... Just invite them .." Darrell replied casually.
Rebecca's stunned. He thinks Darrell's just big shit. The girl asked to confirm Darrell's answer once again. "So seriously can I take my friend again?"
"Seriously. Invite ..." asserted Darrell.
Rebecca fell silent, not understanding Darrell's line of thought. Is Darrell the type of guy who likes being surrounded by women? If it is contacted because it is popular, okelah .... That this? Is it not simply ignored and considered non-existent?
"You don't mind being tipped off like that again by us?" Out of wonder, Rebecca finally asked.
Darrell laughs. It turns out that the Cat Girl is pretty innocent. "So now you're worried about me, kitty ?" he asked in the middle of his laughter.
"Soundless! Who's worried about you?!" spray Rebecca with a slight blush. He did not think the sentence could be rotated so that it could be interpreted so.
"Then, yes it is .... Why do you think so far? Let's just say I'm testing your friendship. You said your friend was busy. Now, if you ask them to come to your aid, will they come?" challenge Darrell with a slanted smile.
Rebecca's emotions, which had decreased, were pumped back. This guy is really br*ngs*k! Maybe he had thought, if Darrell offered to invite his friend because he cared about his discomfort. It was only to test his friendship!
In a huff, Rebecca immediately took out her HP. He immediately pressed the conference button, to make a call to his three friends at once.
Once all her calls were connected, Rebecca immediately stated her purpose. "Friends .... Please help me face this br*ngs*k man again! He may doubt our friendship! If you're not lost, can you come right here to the cafe where we used to hang out? I'm waiting for you to come!"
"G .... Yeah ...."
"OKAY. Wait a minute, Bec ...."
"Please give it 15-30 minutes. I'll be there soon ...."
Such are the answer sounds that Darrell can hear directly, because Rebecca deliberately uses a loudspeaker. After that, the call was dropped.
Rebecca smiled triumphantly, while Darrell clapped. He must admit, the friendship of these four girls is very strong. Not just one or two people. But the three were immediately willing to come to help his friend.
However, Rebecca's victory had not been considered valid if the three had not actually been present at the cafe. What is called a promise and just sweet words to support, can be done by anyone. The difficult thing is to find someone who is willing to accompany us when we are in trouble. Didn't they?
In silence Darrell and Rebecca await the arrival of the other three members of the Princess Gang. They enjoyed their drinks and finished the snacks that had not been touched.
Did Priscillia and co really get to keep her word to accompany Rebecca? Can the Princess Gang prove the strength of their friendship in front of Darrell? Follow the story ....
