The Second Word and the Third Word

It's been two months since Celine started homeschooling again. For starters, James dropped all of Celine's materials on par with those of Grade IX (SMP 3 ).

Physical, biological, and geographic material has been downgraded since last month, because according to Papa Heru and Bang Alex, Celine's ability lagged far behind in the maple. So, for the maples, the material that Celine studied is currently equivalent to class VII (SMP 1 ).

According to James, this may be because Celine has not been able to imagine anything invisible to the eye, such as the speed of light, the digestive/breathing/blood circulation system, and mapping.

Celine's current standout ability is language, Mama Ratna reports. Although he does not communicate verbally, but his understanding of language and sentences is quite prominent when working on written problems.

Since Celine began homeschooling, Mama Ratna's private tutoring schedule was moved to only late afternoon. In the morning, Mama Ratna dedicated the time to teach Celine, in addition to taking care of the household of course. While Papa Heru and Bang Alex have more flexible teaching time, depending on the completion of their respective work.

Mama Ratna and James have also started taking Celine out of the house, to practice her social skills. Mama Ratna would take her to the market sometimes. While James, sometimes take him to the bookstore, when he is looking for materials or exercises for Celine.

In terms of independence, Celine is now able to do her own daily activities such as eating and bathing alone without having to be guided. Mama Ratna and James also no longer need to get towels, dipper, or spoons, as before.

James here acts as Celine's guardian who receives Celine's report of learning outcomes. He is also the Minister of Special Education Celine, because it is in charge of regulating the curriculum and study schedule. Surely he remains as a counselor who pays attention to Celine's psychotherapy.

Although James was preoccupied with Celine, he actually kept his own turmoil. He began to not be confident because until now there has been no work call for him.

He must admit, getting a job now is not easy, especially as a teacher BK. Not many schools require themselves to have a BK teacher with graduates majoring in Guidance and Counseling. As long as the teacher is able to understand the behavior and counseling techniques in the students, that is enough.

Not to mention he knows enough himself with the value of his GPA is not too high and he does not have work experience. Of course, this makes it difficult for him in the competition to get a job.

James's fear is known to Mama Ratna. Therefore this morning, Mama Ratna tried to get her to talk, on the sidelines of the time Celine took a break from her study time.

"You have no intention of applying to the company as an HRD ? (Human Resource Development or Human Resource Development). Or maybe become a PNS (Civil Servant) in an educational institution, correctional facility, or Ministry of Religious Affairs? Tonight, during family gathering after dinner, which is now known as PKW (Vijaya Family Consultancy), Mama Ratna recounted the experience she experienced last afternoon.
