Farewell Event

The end of the school year has arrived. The students of class XII have completed the final exam and have been declared to pass.

Now they are looking forward to the special year-end event of class XII, which is a farewell event. Each force is allowed to consult to determine the place where they want to hold the farewell event.

The farewell event will be held for 3 days and 2 nights. For this year, based on the results of the deliberation decision, the entire XII class will hold a camping in the mountains.

Of course James as a young male teacher who became a rare creature in the school is required to participate. His strength is needed for menial work and to ensure the safety of women.

Another young male teacher who is required to participate is Mr. Roy, a sports teacher. Mr. Roy has been a teacher at this school for 2 years replacing Mr. Joseph.

Mr. Joseph resigned shortly after Priscillia's farewell service. At that time his farewell event was held at the Priscillia family-owned resort who was willing to become a sponsor of the event. Of course it was welcomed by the students and teachers. Without debate, they immediately agreed on the venue for the XII class farewell event that year.

Unfortunately, 2-3 days later news of Mr. Joseph resigning. The reason for his sudden resignation was because of the health of his mother who had to undergo treatment at the Hospital and needed people who accompanied him during treatment. Since then, James has not heard from Mr. Joseph again.

Thus, this year is the second time for James and Mr. Roy to work together in the XII class farewell event held every year. Mr. Arif is not obliged to come because of his advanced age. So the total teachers who participated as supervisors of the students were 30 people, consisting of 28 female teachers and only 2 male teachers.

The event will be held on Friday-Sunday next weekend. Therefore, James felt the need to report this to Celine. Later that night, James contacted Celine via video call.

"So it has been announced the results of the XII class deliberation this year, they plan to hold a farewell event with camping in the mountain, Lin. The show runs from Friday to Sunday next week. So, Celine still wants to play here?" ask James.

"Yes. Gapapas. Celine stay there. Mom and Dad are home, right?" Celine asked back.

"I don't think they have an agenda out. But then try to confirm Bang James again" replied James.

"Yes, Celine will be sure .... If they don't go anywhere, Celine will visit. Let this time be a special time for papa-mama, " said Celine revealed her plan.

James smiled at Celine's words. She was glad this girl was watching her parents. "Yes. Bang James tipped papa-mama well, Lin ...."

"Faith ituuu ...." Celine returned James' smile with a grin while giving her thumbs up.

"If you see the event last year, usually around 4 or 5 pm Bang James has returned. Celine want to wait for Bang James? Let's at least get to the airport?" ask James.

"Yes. Celine wait for Bang James to come home. So we can still meet, " replied Celine with a sweet smile which of course was immediately replied by James.

The day that the XII class students were waiting for arrived. They left school by bus. It was seen each carrying a sizable backpack on their backs.

When they arrived, the first thing they did was set up a tent. Each tent will be occupied by three students. The teachers were also divided in pairs in occupying their respective tents. Of course James is paired with Roy.

Tents were erected by circling the campfire as its center. At the very outside, the teacher's tent was set up by circling the students' tent. Only James' and Roy's tents are slightly separated from other tents. This is to provide flexibility for women.

After the tent was set up, the students were gathered for a briefing. They are given briefings on activities and rules during camping. They were also handed out a piece of paper that contained about the schedule of activities.

Schedule's simple. At 6 am they should gather for gymnastics together. Their gathering point was the campfire area where they were briefing now. At 7-9 am, it's time to take a shower and have breakfast. Each group will cook their own food according to the ingredients they prepare.

At 10-12, the group will be divided. Some prepare lunch and some will look for firewood as their cooking fuel. Afterwards, they will enjoy lunch together.

13:00 - 16:00 is free time for students. They can do anything as long as the activity they do does not break the rules. They can also explore the mountains. On condition that, before leaving, they must report to their respective group supervisory teachers, must not go alone, and must not leave the camp area.

Around this campground area there is indeed a waterfall that becomes one of the attractions. This waterfall flows down and forms a river that is often used by campers to cook as drinking water, find fish or just play in the water because the water is clear and cold.

By 5pm all should have returned to their respective tents. By then they should have taken a shower and started preparing for dinner.

At 7-9 pm, after dinner will be held a camping event arranged by the teachers. The first night they'll have a guts test. And the second night they're gonna have a bonfire. After that, it was time to go back to the tent and sleep. On the last day, they would return to the city after lunch.

Because it is now only about 10 am, the students began to work based on the tasks of their respective groups. The female teachers were divided into two teams. There are those who accompany their students to cook and there are also those who are with their group of students looking for firewood with James. Several other schoolgirls followed Mr. Roy to catch fish in the river.

After lunch, some of the schoolgirls asked the permission of her group's supervising teacher to take a walk enjoying the mountain area. One of them is Wendy and Cindy. They wanted to find the waterfall that was talked about and take pictures there.

After getting permission, they immediately set off and promised to return before 5 p.m. They pass through a rather uphill path, where left-right they have bushes and trees.

After climbing for about 10 minutes, they found the river where Mr. Roy and some of their friends had caught fish. They also walked down the river. About 15 minutes later, they finally found the waterfall they were looking for.

The atmosphere at the waterfall is very pleasant. Fresh air, clear water, the sound of running water, really become its own pleasure that can restore the soul. This is very felt by Cindy, who actually still has not recovered properly from her heartbreak.

All day just how flowery his heart could see the teacher he loved was quite close to him. Many delusions flew in his head how they could enjoy this atmosphere together.

But as soon as he was happy in the delusion, so soon he had to dismiss the delusion. He really struggled to let go of his teacher, although until now it has not been achieved. Because of that, Cindy tried to focus on enjoying this camping event and hoped that what she did could distract her from Mr. James.
