New Call

Zoya as much as possible calmed down when she with Freya shdah stepped into the house, Selin also tailed behind the two, the atmosphere of the house was so quiet that Freya looked astonished.

"Ethan hasn't come home from the agency building yet?" Freya asked as she put a white plastic chicken fillet on the living room table.

"Mm, Ethan's out of Mother's town." Zoya lies with her sweet smile. "Out of town?" freya's reaction was the same as her estimate. Almost makes Zoya really can't lie in front of the woman. Especially as Freya continued to look at him and then approached.

"Naina's coming home, Ethan's out of town, since when?" freya asked, rubbing the top of Zoya's head attentively with an anxious look on her face.

"Two days ago Mother." Zoya replied, this time her voice sounded so slow.

"Geez, so you've been living alone at home all this time?" Freya was surprised. Spontaneous made Zoya nod innocently.

"How come Ethan left you alone at home? Why don't you go to Mother's house, honey?" Freya rubbed Zoya's arms, her gaze looking worried and disappointed.

"Zoya is not papa, Mother."

"If someone is macem-macem with you, what? Selin too." the woman turned to Selin, suddenly making Selin pias in his place.

"Why do you think Zoya lives alone. The danger! You know it yourself, don't you."

"Sorry Mom," that's all Selin can say. Zoya distracts Freya from blaming Selin.

"Mother, Ms. Selin is not wrong. Zoya who wants to stay at home, Sister Selin has invited Zoya to go to her house, but Zoya who refuses." at length the woman. She doesn't lie, Selin does ask her to stay in her apartment and Randy. But Zoya refuses, she will be very uncomfortable being between her manager and her husband's scheduler.

Naina manages to catch her messy breath after dragging her suitcase into the bathroom so suddenly Ethan's phone rings and interrupts the two.

Naina looked at her suitcase again. He opened it and took a set of underwear there. He accidentally does not keep it in the closet, he feels embarrassed if Ethan has to see his underwear later.

The girl's gaze then turned to the bathroom door where Ethan was out there receiving a call from no one.

"You can't handle it?" ask Ethan to the scretary. Randy said that Rachel asked him about where he was.

"True sir, I can't possibly tell Rachel's mom that Ethan is on vacation while Zoya isn't coming."

"Indeed, don't say that." said Ethan. After that, the two fell silent to each other. Ethan thinks hard, speeding up his return is also impossible considering if he with Naina has not done anything while in the Maldives.

"Let me take care of that later." said Ethan who then cut the connection unilaterally. She chose to sit on the edge of the bed afterwards, twisting her fingers while her head was brushing off the shadow of her first night with Naina when the two had just arrived in the Maldives.

Ethan never even thought of touching Naina. Especially in the near future, it feels very difficult and almost impossible.

At night, while enjoying dinner, the two people just fell silent. Naina is suddenly awkward when Ethan just keeps quiet.

"Sir Ethan must eat a lot." said Naina again, Ethan stared at his food that was still intact and messy because of his own hands.

"Of course." she said, Naina was only able to nod and continue her tasteless dinner. While on the table, Ethan was staring at him.

The man sighed, suddenly his sense of hearing was disturbed whenever Naina called him with the frills of the Father.

"Can you stop calling me sir?"

"I'm your husband." said the man with a dislike look. As Naina stared, she even felt that in a split second, her blood flow stopped flowing until she immediately regained consciousness.

"Ethan?" the girl voiced out in a doubtful tone, successfully making Ethan link his brows. His ears were really getting more and more disturbed to hear the girl calling his name, especially considering the age gap between the two that was quite far away. Ethan is much older than Naina.

"So what should I call?" naina asks when she sees Ethan's look that seems to disagree if he calls the man's name.

Naina is made even more confused when Ethan just shrugs indifferently and continues to eat without caring for Naina. The girl silently looked at the husband, who was eating, until she concluded a call that would probably sound more appropriate to Ethan.

"Mas Ethan?" his slow voice made Ethan raise his gaze. A faint smile rose on the handsome man's lips, Ethan began to regret it, maybe he shouldn't have to discuss this with Naina.

Maybe it should be, Zoya who first used the call on him.

"Mas Ethan." Naina repeats the call when she gets a signal of approval from Ethan.

"One more thing." Ethan spoke with a serious look of eyes looking at Naina. Makes the girl blink innocently.

"I'm asking you not to get too close to Rival."

Naina was silent to digest the intent of Ethan's request. Could it be that the man was jealous? Didn't Ethan support his closeness to Rival when Zoya took the initiative to bring him closer to Rival?

Then, why did Ethan now forbid it to be close to Rival? Is it true that the man is jealous because Naina is now his wife?

"I don't want Rival to know our contract marriage."
