Goodbye

Naina only asked to be ordered a drink because she was really not hungry. But Rival would not listen. The man ordered him food.

Inevitably, Naina ends up eating with the man, other than because she is so affectionate if the food is redundant, more than that, the food there turned out to be very good even though it did not taste good to Naina herself.

Just like some time ago when they were in the car, as long as they enjoyed food, the two just fell silent to each other. Focus on each other's food.

When Rival says he's hungry, it seems like he really isn't lying, because he eats so voraciously without caring around. Indifferent as always even to Naina who was in front of him.

Secretly, as Naina chewed her food slowly, her eyes focused on Rival. The man was handsome with a parched face, his nose was sharp, his skin was clean and healthy. His lips were thin and naturally red in color, his eyes narrowed and would disappear when the man smiled.

But it becomes an attraction for him, because the man will look handsome many times when his eyes disappear when he smiles.

In addition, Rival is also a good man despite looking childish, even at his adult age but in front of Naina the man is indeed like a man his age in general. But when Naina had occasionally seen Rival with family members, especially to the mama the man seemed a child who loved his parents so much that he looked spoiled.

"When will your food run out if you keep staring at me?" rival's reprimand that made Naina spontaneously blink her eyes. He was caught off guard, right? So, what can he do except just back down the gaze then continue eating with a grumbling heart cursing himself because it has been staring at the man for a long time and make his confusion, he said, while Rival smiled at the behavior of the girl in front of him.

"I've resigned from the company." tell the man later, which makes Naina immediately forget the incident and raise her gaze, looking at Rival with questionable conditions. So what was the purpose of the man telling him this?

"A few more days I go abroad" he continued, which still made Naina clueless, but as soon as she listened.

A few seconds later, when Naina found the man just speechless. The girl chose to ask. "What did Mas Rival mean tell me for? tanyakanya. The man fell silent, not understanding the meaning of the girl before him.

"I mean, who deserves to know the purpose of your life?" Naina made it clear to Rival to understand.

Rival shrugged both of his shoulders indifferently, he looked relaxed. "Who knows you want to say goodbye." he said.

"Aren't the Rivals coming back?"

"What's the reason I should go back?" Rival asked back. Naina nailed in her place.

"Mm, parents of Rival mas, sisters of Mas Rival or–"

"Or you?" Rival interjected quickly, spontaneously making the girl re-nail in a moment.

Naina is a few seconds apart but cannot control herself. He just silently looked at Rival, confused by what he would say but also unable to break their eye contact, until then Rival chuckled softly. Oh, no, the guy laughed. I don't know what makes it so.

"I have no reason to go back. It might be a long time." said the man with a casual look and ignored Naina just like that. As if, what he said just now was not a big thing. Though it clearly made Naina's feelings fall apart.

"If Mas Rival made me an excuse for Mas Rival to come to my hometown aimlessly a few days ago, why not use me again as an excuse for Mas Rival to return after being satisfied to visit someone's country later?"

I don't know why Naina wanted to say that, but in reality she was only able to say it in her heart. Her lips are really locked.

In a condition that can not make Naina control herself, as Rival coolly continues to eat again, Naina can not even ask the reason why the man wants to leave.

Rival has no chat material and is more focused on steering. While Naina herself is more silent than having to open a chat. He also doesn't know where to start.

In a hurry, Naina immediately opened the seat belt attached to her body as soon as Rival's car stopped in front of the gate, then immediately opened the car door quickly, but her movements stopped as soon as Rival held back the car door that Naina was about to open.

Surprised and astonished, Naina turned to the man. Rival's leaning body made the faces of the two so close together. Naina held her breath. "Mas Rival." rebuked him but Rival only fell silent, of course making the girl misbehave in place especially with their distance of only a few centimeters.

"I'm going to leave and I don't know when I'll be back. You really don't want to say goodbye?" said Rival after a while, the man's breath as he spoke hit Naina's face.

"Did Mas Rival really want me to say goodbye?" ask Naina. Rival did not reply so Naina spoke again. "Mas Rival wanted me to say goodbye as if Mas Rival would never come back again" he continued, which made Rival not understand what the girl said before him.

"If Mas Rival wants me to say goodbye, that means Mas Rival will never make me say welcome back."

In essence Nina did not want to say goodbye, as if that sentence would be a gap between herself and Rival.

But what's wrong? Didn't Naina already tell herself if there was or was not a Rival in her life then it would never have any effect on her life.

Long both of them were silent, Rival did not respond to what Naina said while Naina had nothing more to say.

The cold snap when the wind blows in the weather where the rain has just subsided. As her gaze with Rival held in one straight line, Naina realized that slowly but surely the man was starting to bring her face closer, eroding the distance between them.

Naina doesn't like him at all, but strangely, just like when in the kitchen of Aunt's house in her hometown when Rival did the same thing. Naina is unable to resist when Rival does so again.

Afterwards, Naina felt a soft object land on her forehead, as soon as the man turned to it, for quite a while.

Followed by Rival's voice whispering softly in his ear.

"Then don't say goodbye, but see you again."

A few days after the incident met with Rival at the supermarket, a meal together at a restaurant, and an unexpected incident in the car. Naina never heard from the man again apparently Rival had gone to his destination without saying goodbye to Naina.

Naina chuckles to herself remembering her silliness. Why would he expect too much from a man who has no clarity whatsoever?

Who does he have the right to demand news and information from the man?

Even though Naina never expected Rival to do that to her, it seems to be troubling her mind.

The girl tried as calmly as possible, although in reality to forget it would not be able to do it easily.
