"Where are they?"

"Where's Ethan?"

"Ethan, ku. He's got a job overseas for a few days." Zoya replied spontaneously with a smile. Silently breathing a sigh of relief because it has presented a reasonable reason even though Ethan did not go home and meet with Rival for the next few days.

Well, the reason that Zoya put forward was very logical and would definitely be trusted by Rival easily.

Hearing what Zoya said, Rival just nodded his head. "Mas Rival's coming in?" zoya asks and diverts the man. Rival looks at Zoya and nods his head, who knows then he can meet with Naina.

Zoya opens the door wide and invites Rival to enter. Earlier, the man handed her a paper bag.

"Well, what is this?" Zoya asked as she stepped in with Rival. Rival who was observing the whole house turned to him and smiled. "By-by." he said a short note that made Zoya smile and say thank you.

"Please sit down."

Rival nodded and sat down on one of the couches in the living room, while Zoya just stood up and watched, then asked if what kind of drink Rival wanted. The man had rejected Zoya's offer because he did not want to bother, but in the end still nodded and chose water when Zoya insisted on offering him a drink.

Shortly after, Zoya returns from the kitchen with a glass of water for Rival and sits down on another sofa, while Rival grabs a glass of water that Zoya treats and downs him in part.

"You alone at home?" asked Rival, he noticed since earlier that the house was very quiet, even Zoya took her own drink. Where is Naina? Is that girl not working with Ethan and Zoya anymore?

"Mm, yes, Mas. Alone."

"Naaina?" finally Rival ventured to ask the girl's whereabouts despite feeling awkward for Zoya. He touched the look on the face of the woman in front of him who was silent when he asked about Naina, enough to make Rival feel more awkward.

Zoya looked confused at her place. If he tells Naina to go home, Zoya is afraid that Rival will find out if Naina is not there. Zoya is afraid that Rival will catch up with Naina as the man did last time.

So, what should Zoya say?

"Mm, Naina .., visit her brother's house for a few days." Zoya lies later when long enough she lets Rival wait for an answer.

"He has a brother in Jakarta?"

"Euu, not in Jakarta."

"But out of town." Zoya replied quickly, inwardly cursing her own durian because it had been carelessly lying.

Rival just nodded his head. Although there is something strange about Naina. That girl has a family in the big city? But why doesn't he know?

This time Rival shook his head, it was only natural that he did not know Naina's life any further. They were close, and there was a lot of distance between the two.

"When will Naina come home?" Rival again threw a question at Zoya. Makes Zoya gasp.

"Mm, or since when has Naina been to her brother's house?"

"Here you are, maybe four or five days away from home." this time Zoya replied with a big smile. For what he just said, he didn't lie to Rival.

Rival nodded his head. "It's also great that Ethan has you living alone in the house." decak the man after a while, Zoya did not respond, only a small nod while Rival also only fell silent afterwards.

Rival does not linger at Zoya's house, unless there is Ethan, maybe the man will come home a little late. However, there is only Zoya and it feels very awkward to be alone with someone's wife when her husband leaves, which is what makes Rival hastily leave Zoya's house after their brief pleasantries.

As soon as the man leaves and Zoya escorts his departure all the way to the terrace, along with Rival's car leaving the courtyard of the house, it rains just like that. It looks very heavy and makes Zoya for a moment staring in front of the window.

"What else is going on, Dad?" his mind wandered back to the husband who was in the Maldives.

On the sidelines enjoying her dinner, Naina was stunned to see the beauty of the sky. While in the chair right in front of him, Ethan simply enjoyed dinner in silence. His mind wanders to Jakarta, at his and Zoya's house.

Think about the wife and what is she doing right now? Could it be that Zoya is missing him too? Just like Ethan who missed that woman so much even if only in a matter of hours the two did not meet?

Enjoyably.

The short reply that the woman sent a moment ago was simply unable to treat the longing in Ethan's chest. Before long, the man awakens from his daydream and finds the food in Naina's plate that looks still intact. He then watched the woman and also saw the object that made Naina pause from eating for quite a long time.

"It doesn't rain in Jakarta, huh? Is the sky this bright?" Naina muttered, Ethan who heard that just shrugged indifferently.

"Remove the meal, we go back to the hotel after this!" ethan's instructions in a non-wearing tone. Finally Naina stopped staring at the beauty of the stars in the sky and returned to her food that was still intact. Ethan's food is almost gone.

After dinner, Ethan and Naina return to the hotel. There is no agenda for night walks to enjoy the beach breeze. Even if going for a walk, Ethan can do it tomorrow morning because tonight he needs a break.

Naina just tailed behind the man, she only stared as Ethan was already sitting on the edge of the bed. Naina's mind raged. Suddenly he was haunted by questions.

Is it all going to start tonight? He kept asking himself.

Is he ready?

Does Ethan want to touch her? If not, then what does Naina have to start first?

But where did it start? Naina really doesn't know.

Naina awakens from her daydream as Ethan is already lying on the bed. "You're not sleeping?" the man asked with eyes watching Naina. Naina just nodded, then laid herself beside Ethan.

Both are in a supine position and have not closed their eyes. It felt awkward for Naina as the two just fell silent to each other. When Ethan does not make any movement, or even does not touch it at all, Naina concludes that Ethan really will not do it tonight. So Naina chose to close her eyes before she would completely freeze due to feeling stiff.

"Naaina?"

Just as Naina closed her eyes, the man called her and made her stop to sleep immediately. He turned to Ethan beside him and was quite surprised to find that the man was already tilted towards him.

"What's up, Ethan?"

Naina looked at the man as Ethan was completely silent and confused. A few moments of the man's shame just sighed rudely.

"I don't know what to do." said honestly, he was the same as Naina. Feeling awkward about this situation. Awkward to sleep on the same bed as the girl.

"Just do what Ethan wants to do!" Naina refused to surrender. Ethan didn't respond. Just silence.

Both of them turned their heads towards the giant window as splashes of water slapped the glass, initially little by little but for a long time heard so often and loudly. Apparently, it's raining so hard out there.

This time, it was Naina's turn to sigh. Just a moment ago, I saw the sky so bright. But the rain suddenly just fell.

"Outside the rain." said Ethan, Naina nodded and met their gazes. Ethan has been staring at her ever since.

The sound of rain outside did not penetrate into the room when Naina felt there was only silence between her and her husband. Until suddenly, he rounded his eyes as soon as Ethan's big hand wrapped around his waist.

The man shifted Naina's body and eroded the distance between them.

Naina is like turning into stone, because after that she just pecked in place, not doing the slightest movement. Ethan looked at him with calm eyes.

"Naina, let me do what I'm supposed to do."
