Bayu received a call from his airline. He rushed to his office right then and there.
His hand pressed a button on the elevator to open the door. But when Bayu was about to get into the elevator, he retreated back. Suddenly he was afraid to get into the elevator.
The shadow of Nayla who spoke to him at that time and the voice of Nayla who said about divorce made Bayu's confidence fade. Even he imagined his conversation with Devan who seemed to humble himself because of his emotions and anger at that time.
Bayu tries to re-enter the elevator, but fails. He still can't do it. The trauma is back. The trauma, which disappeared years ago, is now back.
Bayu was frustrated with his current situation. He felt trembling and cold sweat at this moment. He immediately contacted the office and said an excuse for not being able to come at this time.
He's sick, he's really sick and needs to be dealt with right away. The trauma was so painful for him, that he had to try to survive and fight his fear to get out of the trauma he was facing.
Bayu drove his car with his hands still slightly trembling towards his house.
"Woody, how come you're home? That fast?" asked Bu Ratmi when she saw Bayu enter the house with his messy appearance.
Bayu ignored his mother. He did not answer his mother's question. He just walked into the house with a shunt walk and his appearance was a little messy, not neat at the time of leaving earlier.
Bu Ratmi pulled the hand of Bayu who was walking a little staggering so that Bayu's body staggered to face his mother.
"Wood, what's wrong? What's going on?" asked Bu Ratmi who was worried to see the current state of her son.
Bayu threw his mother's hand and walked towards the sofa. He sat down on the sofa and lowered his head, and his hands were on his head, grabbing his hair. Then he said,
"My maiden's back, ma'am."
"What?!" exclaimed Bu Ratmi as he stood up from his seat.
"Suddenly I couldn't get into the elevator. I fear. I tried, but failed," said Bayu who was now sobbing crying over his condition.
Bu Ratmi sat down next to Bayu and gently rubbed his back while saying,
"Why could that be?"
The long breath of Bayu sounded very alarming to Bu Ratmi.
"Nayla wants a divorce from me. Suddenly my confidence disappeared for a moment. I can't get in the elevator. I'm sure if I can't fly for a while" Bayu replied lethargicly and grabbed her hair like a frustrated person.
"What's? Divorced? Nayla wants a divorce? What is this really about?" ms Ratmi asked as she moved from her seat in shock to hear about her daughter-in-law's desire to part with her son.
Bayu again sighed which sounded very heavy. Now he realizes the meaning of Nayla in his life. Even Nayla's remarks about their divorce that had not happened had a huge effect on her.
However, Bayu's self-esteem is still very high. He did not want to beg Nayla not to leave him. He was more concerned with his pride which would be trampled if he begged his wife.
Bayu believes that if he keeps Calista with him, then Nayla will return with him. Bayu had forgotten Nayla who had changed her attitude. He forgot that Nayla was determined not to obey him and only concerned with the happiness of her child.
"Better you take the drug first Bayu. Try so that you can recover quickly and can return to work," said Bu Ratmi while gently rubbing his son's back.
Unbeknownst to them, Calista listens to her father and grandmother talk. His eyes were teary when he heard about the divorce of his parents.
However, he kept listening to all the talk so that he knew what he was going to do.
It seems like all this happened because of me, Calista said in her heart.
After the conversation between his father and his grandmother was over, Calista rushed into his room. He thought back to his life and his family.
It's not the first time Calista has been asked to think about this. Children as small as he must be required to understand life and understand the importance of the work of both parents.
Now he has to think about it again. Unfortunately this time he had to think more wisely as both of their parents would not live together anymore. And he was sure that both his parents would fight over it.
"Caca will stay with us Mom. Don't let Nayla take it. He must want to stay with us here and cancel his desire to divorce" Bayu said firmly to his mother.
Ms. Ratmi nodded. He held his son's hand to strengthen him. He could only do that for now, as he could not say much. He was sure to add to the problem if he meddled in his son's matters with his wife.
The day changed. Nayla was busy finding out what her heart wanted. He is also busy looking for ways to communicate with his daughter Calista.
As for Bayu, he remained with his stance. She could not accept Nayla's decision to divorce him. He waited for Nayla's arrival to their current residence.
Sure enough, Nayla did not come to their place. Nayla is currently very confused because she cannot contact her husband.
Bayu's phone was deliberately turned off. He wants to focus on treatment. He didn't want to get down and laughed at by Nayla and Devan for ending up like that.
"Mom, why didn't Mama come here?" ask Calista to Miss Ratmi.
Ms. Ratmi looked compassionately at her granddaughter. Ms. Ratmi never thought Bayu and Nayla would get divorced. He was hard and as if he was a bitch to his son-in-law, but he never had any thoughts if they were going to get a divorce.
"You better call your mama" replied Ms Ratmi who did not have the heart to say about her parents' divorce to Calista.
Calista reached out to her grandmother to ask for her phone to call her mother. Ms. Ratmi immediately gave her phone to Calista.
Miss Ratmi did not leave Calista, she sat a little away from him. He wanted to listen to the conversation between Calista along with his mother.
"Hello, Mama. When did Mama get here?" calista asked when Nayla had just answered her phone call.
Ca, Mama will pick you up to stay with Mama. We'll live where you want. Do you still want to live and go to school in that village? ask Nayla over the phone to Calista.
"Ma, is Mama going to get divorced with Papa?" calista asked seriously to his mother.
