Not Intentionally Cheating
Chapter 35 New facts

Tonight is a very happy night for Devan and Nayla. They did have the most beautiful night together, but for tonight it feels different from that night.

Tonight they feel like a very happy whole family. Especially by looking at Calista's smile and laughter back then.

It is also undeniable that Devan and Nayla like the current situation. They can be calmer and certainly very happy to be in the right place with people who really make them comfortable.

"Where are you staying? Let me take you home" Devan said as they walked away from the night market.

Nayla looked at Devan with a look of objection. Really he does not want Devan to know where he lives at this time. He was afraid that he would not be able to avoid her anymore.

Devan smiles knowing Nayla who objects to her wishes. Then he said,

"I just want to take you home. I really don't have any intention."

"True Ma, aren't you afraid of just the two of us walking down a lonely street like that?" calista asked while pointing at the street in front of them.

Nayla smiled stiffly. He can't dodge anymore. It was undeniable that he was also afraid of just being alone with Calista passing through a lonely road. Moreover, they were only immigrants from the city who knew nothing about the village.

Without waiting for Nayla's approval, Devan holds Calista's hand and takes her along.

The three of them walked back together as they joined hands towards the lodging place of Nayla and Calista.

"Sorry Dev is troubling you" said Nayla, who felt sorry for Devan.

Devan turned towards Nayla who was beside him. He smiled and said,

"It's been Nay's men's job. A real man should be able to look after and protect women."

For some reason, Devan's words moved Nayla's heart. He feels very grateful that Devan is with them at this time.

"That's where we lived for a while here Om," Calista exclaimed as she pointed to a small and simple house.

Devan scrunched his forehead. He did not expect that Nayla and Calista could live in a house that was far from good. It's just that the house is well maintained and clean.

"You really live in that house?" asked Devan who looked on did not believe in the house.

"Yes, it's Dev. We are currently living there" Nayla replied confirming Devan's question.

"You can stay there?" devan asked again as if he could not believe what Nayla had told him.

Nayla smiled at Devan's question. He knew that Devan would not be able to believe that he and Calista lived in a house far from their home in the city.

"House is comfortable Dev. Although small, the house is clean and can make us feel at home there," said Nayla with a smile that can calm Devan's heart.

Devan smiled at Nayla's words. He grew amazed at the figure of the woman who had secretly lodged in his heart.

Devan moved to the middle. Now he stands between Nayla and Calista. His right hand was on Nayla's shoulders and his left hand was on Calista's shoulders.

Then Devan pushed the mother and child's body slowly, saying,

"It's night, come in. I will see you until you enter the house. After that I'll go."

Nayla and Calista could only obey, they could not resist. Nayla's hand refused to close the door. He was still staring at Devan from the crack of the door that had still not been closed by him.

"Quick sleep. Remember, tomorrow morning Caca will try to attend school in this village."

"Thank you Dev" said Nayla from inside the house.

Nayla's voice made Devan feel like hugging her. It is undeniable that he misses Nayla so much. Even she wanted to hug him if there was no Calista among them.

Not just Devan, Nayla did too. The comfort with Devan made Nayla always want to be with him.

After a while Devan was in front of the house. He went back to his uncle's house.

He was going home earlier. But the truth was that he couldn't just waste the opportunity to be together with Nayla and Calista.

Suddenly a phone ringing sound came from Devan's phone. He immediately picks up the phone lying on his room table, hoping that the one who contacted him was Nayla.

However, his hopes were dashed. Not Nayla's name on the screen.

With a sense of shame he answered the phone call.

"Hello."

Honey, where are you? Why aren't you in the office? Are you home already? I'm in your office right now, a woman's voice from across the street.

Devan closed his eyes. He tried his best to be ordinary with his wife. The more days, their relationship is increasingly tenuous due to Liana's selfishness.

"I went to see Keyla" Devan replied briefly.

Keyla? Keyla. You only care about Keyla. And you married me only because of Keyla, exclaimed Liana who sounded angry and did not accept when she heard the name Keyla out of Devan's lips.

"You're wrong. I married you because I was interested in you at the time. And Keyla, I do love him like my own son" Devan said very emphatically.

Again Liana ignited Devan's emotions. Tonight Devan is angry with his wife.

The phone call was closed without waiting for words from his wife. Devan is feeling really tired right now. He was tired of facing his wife and tired of knowing one by one the truth about his wife.

Unwittingly by Liana, Devan meets Liana's friends. They answered all the questions Devan asked.

Devan was completely shocked by the fact he had just heard. They say that Liana has a relationship with her senior. The two of them live together until Liana conceives their child.

After Liana gave birth, she left the child to the father of the child. Liana still wants to pursue her career, and she blames Keyla for slowing down her career.

Not only one person said that. Even Devan met a different person and the person told him the same thing.

"Hufffttt.. has just found one fact, but it makes me hate it" Devan said, rubbing his face in frustration.

Suddenly Devan recalls Keyla's phone and Keyla's last phone recording with Liana. Then he said,

"I forgot something very important."

Soon he took his bag and checked it in the bag. He heaved a sigh of relief when the item he was looking for was still inside. And he said,

"Thank God it's still here."
