Not Intentionally Cheating
Chapter 14 Calista School

Braaak!

Bayu closed the door of his house very hard. His heart was overcome with emotion after he read a message from his wife about his son's return.

Two months already at school and the dorm without whining from Calista made Bayu sure of his choice. According to him, the new school and dormitory are very appropriate and comfortable for Calista. And now suddenly he gets word from his wife that he brought Calista back home with him.

Hearing the sound of the door being slammed made Nayla and Calista shrivel in fear. Calista hugged her mother's body tightly. She's been really scared to sleep on her own ever since Keyla died.

“Quiet, there is Mama here,” said Nayla while gently rubbing Calista's back.

“Caca scared Ma...” said Calista in a vibrating voice.

“What do you guys do?” beu asked in a loud voice after opening the door of Calista's room and found Calista along with Nayla in the room.

“Change first Pa, after that we talk,” replied Nayla while hugging Calista tightly.

“You're out. In a moment we will talk,” Bayu said to his son and wife.

Calista and Nayla leave the room after Bayu leaves. In the middle room they are now.

The two of them sat side by side in the same position as in his room. She hugged her mother tightly to feel protected from her father's anger.

After a while, Bayu's footsteps sounded close to them. That made Calista embrace her mother even more.

The lady sat right in front of them. Bayu's eyes looked as if he was unsheathing when he looked at the two of them in turn.

“Say, why are you two so careless?” bayu asked firmly and stared intently at her son and wife.

“His roommate who was in an accident with him has just died. He can no longer live there. Even he was very scared after hearing the news that his friend died,” replied Nayla by gently rubbing her son's hair.

“That's no excuse. We paid a lot so he could go to school and live in that dorm. Why are you so reckless?” asked Bayu who looked very angry at his wife.

“Then I have to how? Caca was so scared, he couldn't even get away from me. Can you let him alone be scared in another city?” asked Nayla regretfully.

“Nayla, you... You dare to fight me?” ask Bayu who is getting emotional.

Nayla breathed. She was eager to yell at her husband if he would rather be around his son than have to let his son cry in fear.

Unfortunately, he had no courage to say all that. He could only lower his head while hugging his son's body so as not to be frightened at the anger of his father.

Bayu saw his son and wife were terrified. He has a sense of compassion, however. Moreover, they are his children and wife.

“Now you two go to sleep. Tomorrow morning take Caca back to school and his dorm,” said Bayu while standing from the sofa he occupied.

“We can't go back there,” Nayla said as she looked at her husband.

Instantly Bayu stopped his intention to walk. Then he sat back down to his wife and son and said,

“What do you mean?”

“Caca has been kicked out of school and dormitory,” replied Nayla while looking at her husband's face.

“What? Issued? You kidding?” asked Bayu repeatedly as if he did not believe what he heard.

“You crazy? How many times have we spent on Caca's school? From overseas and out-of-town schools, everything failed. What are you going to do now? Why do you suck at educating children?” said Bayu with annoyance and emotions that have dominated his heart.

Hearing her husband's words made Nayla become upset. He pulled Calista's body to stand up as he said,

“Let Caca attend school here and stay home. I'll take care of it.”

Then Nayla takes Calista on her way to leave the room for Calista's room.

Feeling still unfinished, Bayu exclaimed from his current seat,

“How about your job?”

“I'll resign!” nayla shouted from where she was.

Braaak!

The sound of Calista's room door being shut loudly by Nayla. He cannot be angry or say rude. She can't fight anyone, especially her husband. Now he vented his frustration through the door.

Bayu was surprised by his wife's slightly defiant attitude towards him. Now Bayu must think again and decide the future for his daughter.

Suddenly, the phone rang from his phone. He sighed when he saw the name of the caller on his phone screen.

“What's Bu?” asked Bayu lazily when he picked up his phone.

At once, Ms. Ratmi, Bayu's mother was angry and lectured Bayu after hearing Bayu's unsightly greeting. Bayu also told about the Calista school.

Ms. Ratmi thinks the same as Bayu, she blames Nayla who is too pampering her child. After that he gave a solution for a while to Bayu.

“Alright Mom. Bayu will inform Calista and Nayla of the decision. What's mom really with what mom says?” ask Bayu to his mother who is across the street.

After hearing the answer from her mother, Bayu ended the conversation with her mother and she thought back to what her mother had suggested.

The next morning, Nayla and Calista sit at the dinner table to wait for Bayu so they can have breakfast together. On the dining table, there are now several dishes that become the favorite food of Calista and Bayu.

Moments later Bayu came to the dining room and sat in the chair he always sat in. The atmosphere was silent for a moment. Nayla and Calista try to stay as calm as Nayla tells Calista before Bayu comes to the dinner table.

Bayu drank coffee made by Nayla slowly. Then he looked at his silent son and wife without saying anything while he was there.

“Papa has decided. This is the final decision from Papa. After this Papa does not want any commotion at the new school,” said Bayu while looking at his wife and child alternately.

“Caca will attend school located in Mother's home area. And you two stay at Mom's. This is the last decision and cannot be contested,” said Bayu firmly and did not want to be opposed.

Calista's smile suddenly expanded. He was very happy no longer to go to school far away and live in a dormitory. Immediately he took the plate that was in front of him and filled it with rice and side dishes. Then he put it in front of Bayu while saying,

“Thank you Papa. Please eat.”

Nayla smiled with relief to see her son back cheerful. He did not want Calista to be frightened and slumped into his grief. Now he hopes there will be happiness in their home.

Thinking about the house, Nayla realized her husband's words about where they lived. Then she asked her husband to resolve his curiosity.

“Why should we stay at Mom's house?”
