Chapter 45 The feud

From inside her car Liana watched everything that happened. She smiles cynically when she sees Bayu pulling Devan's collar to follow her to another place.

Liana planned it all. He was able to make his scenario come true. After she sees Calista's mama's name on Devan's phone screen, Liana soon finds out all about Nayla. About his family and his life.

Right now, right before him he could see the destruction of the Nayla household with Bayu. He vows to destroy Nayla's family, similar to his marriage to Devan.

Bayu drags Devan to a deserted place. In that village at such an hour it was indeed deserted of the inhabitants. They all work in fields, fields, farms and plantations.

"What do you mean, approaching my wife and son?" tanya Bayu who still pulls Devan's collar with anger and emotion.

Devan grinned at the question Bayu asked him. Then he forcibly removed Bayu's hand from his collar and said,

"Now I can tell if your son and wife are tormented because of your attitude. If I were you, surely I would never hurt them in a born and inner way. They are very good and very valuable to me. You need to know, I don't live with them. It just so happened that I met them here because I was visiting my Uncle's house in this village. If you don't believe me, it doesn't matter to me."

 

Somehow Bayu refused to continue his debate with Devan. He chooses to leave Devan and return to the house occupied by Nayla and Calista.

When Bayu takes Devan elsewhere, Calista comes out of the room and approaches his crying mother while banging her chest.

Calista immediately hugged his mother's body and rubbed her back, saying,

"Please, Mama, you have to be patient. Cry Ma, Caca is here with Mama. If it's too heavy, we'll just go back to town."

Nayla immediately broke down her daughter's embrace and wiped her tears as she said,

"No. Mama will not give up. Let Papa listen to our will once in a while. Mama will fight for your happiness. We're gonna stay here. Don't worry."

Calista smiled and nodded her head. His outstretched hand wiped the tears on his mother's cheek and said,

"Mama is so pretty. So, don't let these tears drip down Mama's cheek."

Nayla smiled and kissed her daughter all over the face. He did not expect that his daughter had a mind like an adult. Maybe because Calista who is used to being away from his parents and must understand the situation of both parents who have to work so that they send him to a place far away and have boarding facilities.

"You're home. Mom is going to work now. If Caca needs anything, just come to the plantation where Mama works," Nayla said, wiping Calista's hair.

Calista nodded his head. He immediately helped his mother stand up from her seat and said,

"Caca will be fine at home. You take it easy, don't think about Caca. You can see for yourself, Caca is a big boy. Caca can take care of everything by himself."

Nayla smiled again at her daughter's words. His hand gently rubbed his daughter's hair as he said,

"If there's anything, Caca just call Mama. HP Mama is back on. And if Mama doesn't answer that right away, Caca just come over there."

"Ready Ma!" calista said while saluting his mother.

Nayla leaves for work and leaves Calista alone in the house.

After a while, Calista still played the game on her phone. He waited for his friends to come home from school to play football on the field as usual.

Braaak!

Calista was stunned when the door of her house was opened violently by someone.

"Papa?!" surprised chirp Calista looked at her papa with her angry face.

Calista sat in fear with both of her knees bent in front of her chest. Soon Bayu approached Calista and pulled his hand to follow her.

"Where are we going, Pa? Wait for Mama first. We go home together. Mama's still working" Calista pinta whined she wouldn't leave the house.

Bayu stopped his steps, he turned his head towards his daughter with his hand still tightly holding Calista's hand and said,

"Where's the job?" 

"In.. in the tea plantation," Calista replied with a voice trembling with fear.

Bayu closed his eyes and rubbed his face rough using one hand that was not holding Calista's hand.

A few seconds later, she pulls Calista's hand back and invites him out of the house to leave the village.

No one knew it so no one helped Calista. Unfortunately Devan has returned to his Uncle's house, so he does not know if Bayu took Calista away.

As for Liana, she laughed happily in her car seeing Bayu forcefully pulling Calista. Then he said,

"Good Bayu, soon Nayla will catch up with you to the city. And Devan will definitely lose it."

At the tea plantation, Nayla felt uneasy. I don't know why he feels so worried about Calista at the moment.

Nayla confronts her foreman and asks her permission to go home for a while on the grounds of seeing her sick child.

The foreman allowed it with the note to be Nayla's hour of rest. Without thinking, Nayla agreed. He immediately ran towards the house where they lived for now.

Sure enough, he did not find Calista anywhere. He took the cell phone out of his pocket to contact Calista.

In the car, Calista was silent. He was scared of his father who looked very angry at this moment.

Suddenly his phone rang, immediately he took it from his pants pocket.

"Mama?!" chirp Calista when he saw his mother's name on his phone screen as the caller.

Hearing Calista mention her mother's name when she saw her phone screen when the phone came in, Bayu immediately pulled her car over.

"Hello, Mama, Caca is with Papa. We'll–"

Calista's cell phone quickly changed hands on Bayu's hands. Then he said,

"Hurry up to catch up with us right now. I'll wait for you at home. We'll talk about everything there."

After that Bayu turned off the phone unilaterally without first listening to the words of Nayla.

Bayu turned off Calista's phone and kept it in his pocket.

"For a while your HP Papa bring until your Mama comes home," Bayu told Calista.

After that Bayu run back his car. Calista did not dare to fight or argue with his father. He only clutched his pants out of fear at his current papa.

At home, Nayla panics. He cannot be separated from his daughter. He immediately tidied up all of Calista's clothes and clothes for her to take back to the city.

Suddenly a phone ringing from Nayla's phone. He immediately took the phone out of his pocket. 

Nayla breathed out when she saw Devan's name on her phone screen.

"Hello Dev, I'm going back to town right now. Caca was taken by his papa. I don't have time, I'll be there right now."
