Not Intentionally Cheating
Chapter 12 Meeting

Devan immediately picked up Calista and led her to the IGD room.

Nayla followed them with tears. She is deeply saddened by Keyla's death and she is also deeply saddened by the current state of her son who lost his closest friend.

"Sorry, are you Keyla's father?" nayla asked in doubt when they were outside the IGD room.

Devan who was sitting down and lowered his head, now looked up, looking towards Nayla who was standing before him.

Devan nodded his head. His tongue was muddy, so he could not get the words out.

His heart was sliced, hearing the news of his son's departure for good.

"Sorry Sir. Caca and I are very sorry. We also feel sad and lost. Especially Caca who was very shocked to hear the news of Keyla's departure," said Nayla while sitting next to Devan.

Devan breathed. Hearing Keyla's name, his heart broke into pieces. Even his wife has not contacted him since Devan repeatedly contacted him and sent him several messages.

"Actually tomorrow I'll come here to see him. But now..now.," said Devan with a trembling voice holding back his cries.

The tightness inside his chest made his tears force out without excuse. Devan can't hold it anymore. His heart wound was so deep, it was so heart-wrenching and it felt so unbearable pain.

Nayla's tears came down hard. He could not help his sadness at hearing what Devan said about Keyla.

He felt compassion for Devan who cried for his daughter until there was no shame in the presence of a stranger he had just met.

A man who was very proud of his daughter, now suddenly became weak because of the departure of his daughter.

"We must be patient, sir. I'm sure Keyla will be sad if her father cries or grieves" Nayla said between sobs.

Devan looked towards Nayla who was crying over Keyla. She felt overwhelmed and grateful that her daughter loved her so much.

He nodded his head and tried to smile even though his heart was hurting at this moment.

"Hufffttt... What really happened to the two of them?" devan asked as he lowered his head, he did not want his sorrow to be seen by Nayla.

"I don't know what's going on. Caca still can't be asked. I have to ask slowly. I'm afraid it will be bad for him if asked in detail," said Nayla Lirih in a hoarse voice after crying.

"It's best to wait until Caca is ready to tell the story. Don't forced. I'm sure that Keyla doesn't want Caca to be sick because of it" Devan said, looking at Nayla who was wiping her tears.

Devan smiled faintly at the trace of tears on Nayla's cheeks. Even his eyes looked a little puffy from crying over Calista and Keyla.

He saw the sincerity of Nayla's face. Even she knows that Nayla is a mother who always puts her child together and always worries about her.

"Sorry sir, do you want to see Ananda Keyla's body?"

Suddenly the sound of the hospital attendant who took care of Keyla's body. They search for Devan to see Keyla's body that has been cleaned.

Devan moved from his seat after saying goodbye to Nayla. He followed the hospital attendant to the mortuary.

Nayla looked at Devan's pity on the back that was moving away from her. He could feel a deep sadness just by looking at Devan's back while walking.

"Sorry Mom, Ananda Calista is conscious" said a nurse who shocked Nayla while she was still looking at Devan.

"thank you. I'm going to go there" Nayla said as she got up from her seat and walked into the IGD room.

Nayla approached her daughter who was staring at her with tears on her cheeks. He hugged his daughter with a warm embrace and filled with affection as he said,

"Mama's always there for Caca. Mama won't leave Caca alone."

"Sister Key" said Calista, shedding tears in his mother's arms.

"Keyla was calm there. Caca had to send Keyla to calm her down in heaven. And Caca has to be the usual Caca so Keyla doesn't grieve" Nayla said, rubbing her daughter's hair gently and affectionately.

Calista's tears grew so heavy that they wet his mother's back. Calista's cry made Nayla's heart ache.

"Cry, if it calms you down. Cry, until you lose your sadness," Nayla said in a trembling voice, unable to hear her son's cry that was so heartbreaking.

Calista's cries became more and more. Her cries filled the IGD room at that moment. They don't forbid because they know what happened. They were sorry to hear Calista's crying voice filled with sadness.

After Calista's cries subsided, doctors suggested that Calista move in the hospital room for further examination.

The examination depends on the current condition of Calista. They couldn't force Calista if she didn't agree to it.

This is where the role of Nayla is needed. As a mother she should be able to calm her child and persuade him to do a full examination.

The accident at the time killed Keyla, so doctors were afraid that any part of Calista's body would need to be treated right now before it was too late.

Finally that night Calista and Keyla stay in the hospital for the last checkup of Calista.

Meanwhile, Devan, he is still waiting for the process of Keyla's body which is still being investigated by the police.

Tonight Devan, Nayla and Calista are staying at the hospital with Keyla's body.

The three of them were both overwhelmed with deep sadness. Losing Keyla's figure made their days very hard.

Keyla, a very good, independent and smart girl, always makes people around her love her. He never troubled anyone else. He likes to help those around him.

"This is ananda Keyla's stuff. We'll take him to check on him" one of the police officers said after an examination of Keyla's body.

"Well sir," said the uninspired Devan.

Devan's eyes were swollen because he had been crying over his daughter's departure.

Today. Just today. Please let Papa cry for today. Papa promises to no longer grieve and cry over your departure. Papa hope you are calm there and happy there, Devan said in his heart while paying close attention to the face of his daughter who will soon not be met.

After feeling enough to meet his daughter. Devan came out of the room and sat in the hospital garden to try to calm his heart.

He remembered about his wife who had not contacted him. He took the phone out of his pants pocket.

Devan sighed as he looked at the screen of his phone. His breath made the person who heard him know how big the problem he was facing.

He stared sadly at the message sent by his wife.

Don't bring him back home. Just leave him there. I beg.
