After a few days, Amelia turned on her phone. There was nothing to use from the two phones. He hasn't changed his sim card yet. He's still feeling tired. Finally Amelia borrowed the host's cell phone to contact the person she was waiting for. Actually Amelia had a little trouble being in Indonesia alone. He could not speak any Indonesian and no one could speak English from the people around him. It was hard for him to interact with the people around him.
Amelia called the number over and over again, but never once connected. The owner of the phone was upset that Amelia did not give up. Eventually Amelia decided to buy a new sim card. It would be better for him. He'll be more free to contact anyone.
The obstacle is back against Amelia. He did not understand the seller's words at all. He did not know what to buy and how to buy it.
“Buy this card. The signal is faster and the price is cheaper,” said someone from behind Amelia with English suddenly.
For the first time after landing in Indonesia, Amelia found someone who spoke fluently in her language. Moreover, that voice sounded familiar. Amelia widened her eyes realizing who the owner of the voice was. Amelia turned around .. right .. it was David.
“Let me buy it,” bargain David as if no tension had ever occurred.
Amelia became upset. When David opens his wallet to buy the sim card, Amelia turns around and leaves David. He walked quickly so that David could not catch up to him. But hope is only an impossibility. David even grabs her shoulder after Amelia enters the house. David pulled Amelia's shoulder so he turned to her, then kissed her. Amelia immediately pushed David hard so as to let go.
“What are you doing?!” amelia exclaimed in a low voice. Worried that his voice would disturb the other tenants. “This is not your home and mine, so you can't act as you please.”
When Amelia turned around, apparently the mother of the owner of this house was in front of her. Amelia became worried that the mother would expel her.
“Who is he?” ask the mother in Indonesian.
“I cannot let unmarried men and women stay in one room in my house,” added the mother.
David immediately hugged Amelia and smiled kindly. “Take it easy, Mom. Actually we're married. But my wife is angry with me. Forgive us for the disturbance we caused,” replied David.
Amelia did not know what David said, but she knew that David was taking advantage of her. Amelia wanted to break away from David's embrace. However, he gave up on not understanding this storyline.
“Then show your letters.” The owner of the house raised his hand.
“Actually we had a fight. So we didn't have time to bring the letters. My wife rushed out of the house and I rushed after her to apologize from her,” lied David.
“Good. For now I'll believe that. But bring the letters in a week or you'll have to lift your feet from this house.”
“Alright, Mom. We'll take him.”
Surely David did not plan on bringing the letters. He still doesn't have it anyway. He only planned to have Amelia lift a leg with him from this house in a week.
After the house owner's mother left, David pushed Amelia's back into the small room. Then he closed the door as much as possible.
