Amelia remained silent. Obviously Alex apologized to him, but somehow he didn't seem to understand.

Alex finally smiled in amusement. Amelia managed to shake off the awkwardness in the room.

“You sure?” alex did not believe it. “You didn't do that because you were depressed or David forced you didn't?”
