David did not intend to shop from the beginning. There was no way the man would leave Amelia without a full refrigerator.

“Da-david,” call Amelia again.

David did not answer with words. He raised his head.

“Didn't you have a business trip? We shouldn't be able to go shopping now.” That was the question Amelia wanted to say. However, he did not dare to say that. It's clear that David acted that way because he caught Amelia out of the house without her. Amelia also abandoned her intentions. He lowered his head. I dare not look at David anymore.

“What's up?” ask David.

Amelia slightly raised her head, but her gaze remained downward. He also smiled faintly. “Nothing,” said.

“But why did you meet Alex earlier?” David finally asked that.

“A-a-aku ...”Amelia was confused as to what to answer. It hasn't even reached the apartment. If David gets angry here, it'll be very burdensome for Amelia. Suddenly Amelia recalled her sense of boredom yesterday. “I came out because I was bored alone. Then I met Alex by accident,” Amelia told a lie.

“If you're bored, you should take me, right?”

“But you said there would be a business trip now.”

“I'm sorry.” David's face became sad. “Because of my busy work, I forgot about your happiness. I only care about myself who's afraid of losing you.”

Ah, crap! David apologized, even Amelia who felt more guilty.

“It's my fault. I didn't tell you before. I'm sorry,” said Amelia.

“Good. Now forget all that. That's not a problem anymore. You can go without me now.” David relented.

Finally Amelia dared to raise her head to look at David. “Really?” He was very happy that David really said it.

David nodded his head.

“But keep your phone so I can contact you easily,” David said.

That's an easy requirement. Amelia regretted not saying this wish long ago. If he had said that before, he would not have had to feel anxious because David caught him.

Ah, Amelia became reminded of her ancient phone and her desire for a new one. He asked David for the new phone. It's not something expensive. Amelia would not ask for it. Even if he asked for something expensive, David would not mind buying it either.

As per David's sudden plan, Amelia and David go shopping. Because the truth is the refrigerator is still full, they only shop for cooking ingredients for dinner later. Actually David also told Amelia to shop for other items, but Amelia was quite with a cell phone just now. Being used to living frugally, Amelia had no interest in buying anything she didn't really need.

Arriving in front of the apartment, David told Amelia to enter the room first, while he parked the car. Apparently parking the car wasn't the only reason David told Amelia to come back first. Before he got out of his car, he called his secretary first.

“I can't leave because there's a sudden affair. You have to take care of everything yourself and replace me.”

“Say I have another meeting if mama asks. That's even if he really comes.”
