33. SEASON 2: The Truth

Arriving at Rico's office, David finds no laptop on the desk. He also looked for her everywhere. When he opened the closet, David found a photograph. David also found a laptop under the photo.

David took the photo first. It was a picture of Rico and Amelia. Looking closely, the two people in the photo were still very young. There's no way Amelia. That woman must be Sofia. Why did Amelia become Rico's wife? Where is Sofia? What exactly happened until they hid the truth of their status from Dodik?

David moved on to hold the laptop. He took her to the table and immediately turned her on. Put that memory card there. There is only one video. David turned it around.

“Hai, David,” greet Rico who fills that video. “If there is a Dodik there, it's best to move him to the room or he will get hurt after listening to what I said. I'll give you five minutes.”

David looked towards the open door. There's no one there. David got up to close it until he locked it. Then he returned to the chair and waited until the five minutes had passed.

“Already?” Rico continued the conversation. “After all you can rotate it backwards.” Stupidly, David waited for five minutes to pass.

“If you manage to get this memory card from Dodik, then you will regret after watching it.” David scrunched his forehead. “You'll start wondering, but don't get any answers from me. Since you won't be able to talk to us anymore, I mean Liamu too.”

Even before the video was finished, David was already wondering. His body became trembling after hearing Rico's last sentence. “What do you mean?” murmured David.

“What do I mean?” It was as if Rico knew what David was going to think. “If you don't ask, you better ask now. Because I'll answer it now.

David's eyes glared. His breathing became heavy. His trembling hand touched the edges of the laptop screen.

Ah, crap! David put both his hands on the table. Her face flushed. His eyes also turned red withstanding tears. He felt desperate.

After thinking about the meaning of Rico's words just now, David rushed out of the room.

“Om Crazy where to go?” dodik asked because David was about to get out of his house.

David approached the boy and gently rubbed his head. “You wait here, huh? Om will find your dad and mom.” David forced his smile. Then he went to the company. Dagel must be in his room.
