51. The Real Reason 2

After successfully extinguishing the fire, David helps Amelia to sit well on the sofa. Despite the pain, Amelia refused David's offer to take her to the hospital or call a doctor. Amelia thought it was just a minor accident. He could still move freely with the pain.

David tells Amelia to stay still on the sofa, without moving in the slightest as a condition to not call the doctor, while David takes care of the remnants of the chaos created by Amelia. An hour and a half later, David finally left the kitchen clean and filled the table in front of Amelia with his cooking.

For the umpteenth time Amelia ate David's cooking in this place and not once did she eat her own cooking in this place. Now it's not just David, Amelia herself won't let herself cook or help David in this place. Amelia already does not believe in her own cooking and she does not want to ruin her own hands. Amelia had gotten used to living hard, but never once had any intention of setting herself on fire.

David sat down next to Amelia. Then she lifted her spoon to feed Amelia.

“Come,” said David as he herded his spoon.

Amelia took the bribe. However, in the midst of his savor, he realized that only he was eating. David did not get to eat because it helped Amelia eat.

David lifted his spoon to feed Amelia again, but Amelia turned her head back.

“Then how did you?” ask Amelia.

David did not answer. He brought the spoon closer again so Amelia had to accept it.

Amelia chewed her food quickly to ask her question again. However, David had already answered him first, “I tasted it repeatedly earlier. It makes me feel full.”

Is it true that people can be full just by tasting? Isn't that like eating the wind? Ah, David's starting to act cool. Amelia was amazed.

David was very kind to Amelia. David really loves Amelia. Then why would David keep some of the boundaries that he had previously broken? Amelia thought about all that.

David was about to pick up his spoon, but Amelia held him back.

“What's up? Are you full?” ask David to be surprised. Amelia had only completed four feedings. That's not much.

“Do you love me?” ask Amelia. Suddenly she hesitates that David still loves her. After what Amelia did to David before, anyone would hate Amelia; and anyone who already hates something, that person would not be able to love that thing.

“Of course,” replied David. He smiled kindly.

Amelia was still unsure. Amelia did not think in the direction of the plot of the film about someone who took revenge on his loved ones for rejecting him and humiliating him. Amelia thought David was such a good person that he was forced to accept her.

“Are you sure?” ask Amelia again. He still feels unsure.

David smiled as he felt amused. Then David puts food for Amelia to the table. It seemed that Amelia was not looking to continue eating. Then David grabbed Amelia's hands and held her in both hands.

“You should know that. So why ask?” david said calmly.

“But ...” Amelia hesitated to say it.

David lifted his face. Get ready to listen to Amelia's explanation.

“But why don't you ever sleep with me?”
