Drrrt .. drrrt ….
Drrrt .. drrrt ….
Drrrt .. drrrt ….
David's phone kept shaking. It was because his secretary contacted him over and over again, but David did not pick him up. David knew what his secretary would say. That person would only make the already rushed David become even more hasty.
Because of the sudden business, David told his secretary to go to the airport first. Just in case he can't keep up with the flight schedule on time. In the middle of the rush, David still had to stop because of the traffic lights are flushed. The red light was what kept David from rushing his end.
David sees a woman who looks similar to Amelia. She thought so because Amelia was in the apartment right now. After a good look, it turned out that not only did the woman's face look similar to Amelia's, her clothes and shoes looked the same as the one she had bought. It turned out that it was not the woman, the clothes, and the shoes that were similar to Amelia and Amelia's, but that woman was indeed Amelia. Amelia has come out of the apartment without David with her.
David got out of his car. It doesn't matter if the green light will be on any minute. He crossed the road and left his car.
David was more surprised as Amelia waved and smiled broadly at someone. As he turned his head, he found Alex also waving his hand as he ran over. What the hell is going on? Is that smile worth it to the two people in dispute? Otherwise, how could the relationship of the two people be worthy of waving one another after one of them had ruthlessly dismissed the other?
David would not be able to answer with his own mind. The answer is only a guess or an accusation. He decided to join the two men.
“Hai, Alex,” greet David when Alex has just arrived.
“Hai, Honey,” David also greeted Amelia.
Amelia looked surprised to see it. That expression was not the expression David wanted. Then David hugged Amelia from the side.
The atmosphere became silent for a while until Alex greeted to break the silence. “Hi too, David.”
“Ba-how did you ..” Amelia can't believe she's meeting David right now.
“Oh, I want to shop with you, so I intend to pick you up. Turns out we even met here,” said David.
David looks calm and unscrupulous over Amelia's betrayal. Even so, Amelia still felt anxious. It could be that the calm face soon disappeared when parting with Alex. However, there was no way Alex would be with him forever. Sooner or later, Alex will give you space where there's only Amelia and David.
“Really? What are you guys ..”
“We stay together now,” said David cut Alex's words.
Despite knowing that David likes Amelia, Alex is surprised to learn they live together. A month earlier, while Amelia was still working with him, she had not seen David around Amelia. She smiled soon too happily. “Wah, so now you're together. Congratulations, yes.”
“Oh, yes, what do you want to say to my lover?” David tightened his embrace. Then rubbed Amelia's hair with her other hand. Showing off her romantic side.
Amelia remained silent. He was worried that if he spoke, there was something wrong he said instead of attracting David's anger.
“Oh, no. I just happened to see it from far away. So I intend to greet him,” replied Alex.
Amelia knows Alex is lying. The place they met now was very far from where Gerald had met. It made him even more curious as to what the man was going to say.
“Really? Well, I'm amazed at your relationship. After what happened, even you guys still say hello to each other,” David said.
David breaks down Alex's confidence. Alex's smile returned. Instantly the atmosphere became tense. Amelia who was well aware of it immediately mediated. He pulled David's hand.
“Because we already greeted each other, now let's go. We should shop now before nightfall. I don't like being outdoors at night,” Amelia said.
“Should we go now?” david asked reassuringly.
Amelia nodded her head.
“Then we go first, yes,” David said goodbye to Alex.
“Oh, yes.”
David calls a taxi to take himself and Amelia away. His car is parked far away, he does not want to look excessive in Amelia's eyes.
Along the way, David continued to smile while looking at Amelia. He tried hard to hide his sense of regret so that Amelia would feel comfortable with him. Even so, Amelia knew that David was angry with her. That wide smile was not a normal reaction to betrayal. That made Amelia even more anxious.
“Da-david,” call Amelia hesitate.
“Iya.” David widened his smile.
“Are we really going to shop?”
“Of course. Looks like the contents of the refrigerator are starting to decrease.”
David did not intend to shop from the beginning. There was no way the man would leave Amelia without a full refrigerator.
“Da-david,” call Amelia again.
David did not answer with words. He raised his head.
“Didn't you have a business trip? We shouldn't be able to go shopping now.”
