Levina finally arrived at the door of the restaurant. He opened the door, then pushed Amelia harder and fell on the floor.
"I fired you not because you ruined my shirt, but because you sucked. People like you, shouldn't work in this restaurant" Levina added.
Levina turned her body, then slammed the door.
Amelia was still in her position. It all happened very quickly. Suddenly he saw a pair of black shoes beside him. He also looked up.
"Boss," he said of Alex.
Amelia woke up. He just remembered that the owner of this restaurant is Alex, while Levina is only a customer. The only person who has the right to fire him is Alex. So why would she let Dirina get fired by Levina?
"Boss, what happened last night, I accidentally did. Please don't fire me, "please Amelia.
Suddenly the restaurant door opened. Levina's out of there.
"Levina" said Alex, naming the woman.
Amelia sees Alex and Levina alternating. He was surprised that Alex recognized Levina.
"Oh, are you still here? I realized that you were very poor, so I wouldn't ask for compensation for my dress you stole and my shirt that you tore. It'll just keep you stuck here and I've been reluctant to see you so many times. Then never step your foot here, even as a customer," Levina said arrogantly.
She acts like a boss again. Amelia looked straight at Alex with a face that needed pity.
Alex looked at Amelia. Then she threw away her face to keep her eyes away from Amelia.
Amelia was at a loss for words. He knew what Alex meant. Then he saw Levina. The woman was spreading a triumphant smile all over her face.
"Just do as Levina says." Alex finally made a sound.
"Boss …."
"He's my fiancee. We got engaged two weeks ago" Alex explained.
Amelia was silent. That means he can't do anything because Levina also has the right to fire him and he has done a lot of wrong to Levina that he can't fix.
Alex immediately went into his restaurant hugging Levina from behind, while Amelia remained silent for a while. He was ringing at all the words Levina had told him. "Never put your foot in here, not even as a customer." That sentence finally made Amelia step foot away from the restaurant. After this, he would not be able to step foot into the place, either as an employee or a customer.
Amelia walked a long way back. As if he had found no place to go. Finally he returned to the place where he spent the whole night, on the sidewalk chair. For the second time he sat there bending his knees and hugging them. He did not cry, but he was astonished. How could he possibly feel so hard to leave that restaurant? What does that restaurant mean to him?
Working at the restaurant was not Amelia's first experience working. He had previously been a servant in many places. That means Amelia's been fired many times. Amelia immediately stepped out after getting her last paycheck. He never begged to be hired because he knew he wouldn't be able to return. Then why could he be so demeaning to not be fired from that restaurant?
