“You were hurt not to save Lia from that person, but that person from me. That person is Levina.”
“Please forgive him, David. He is guilty, but I have suffered the consequences. My legs won't heal forever. After all, he has promised not to make any new problems to you.”
“But he's already made that new problem.”
“What do you mean?”
“He sent me a picture of you and Lia while he was in the hospital. He also said that he had made you who had no intention of cheating into having an affair with Lia.” David laughing. “Your engagement is really smart. He managed to get you into an affair, even without you knowing it.”
“Your relationship with Lia must be fine. Please let her go for it. I'll do whatever you want, but please, let him start his new peaceful life. If this problem still persists, he will not be able to change for the better.”
“Good. Let me listen first, what's your reason for coming here.”
“I brought a new phone to Lia because her phone was destroyed that night.”
Alex wakes up with both bags of paper he carries. Then he put one of the smallest bags on David's desk.
David looked at the bag. It was a box containing the exact same phone she had bought for Amelia. Once satisfied, he put the phone down again.
“But I'm sure you won't be here just to send me that phone. I wasn't that poor until I couldn't give my girlfriend a new phone,” David said.
“I really want to apologize for the problems that have been there before and please forget all that and let me and Levina start a new life with the best.” Alex begged again. There was nothing he could do but beg. For in order to have peace, the guilty must confess and one of them must succumb. As for obtaining this peace, Levina had confessed, whereas Alex had relented.
Alex raises the last bag on David's table. He then pushed her closer to David. “This is his letters.”
David took out the entire paper that filled the bag. Apparently Alex has prepared the whole thing. He came with the full papers. David smiled with satisfaction. Then he put the letters back in the bag.
“Attractive price. So you just let me buy your restaurant, not give me your restaurant?” ask David to test.
“You are a businessman, not a beggar. Besides I will set up a new company that definitely needs big money,” replied Alex.
“You can request investment from your friends. It will be easier for you,” David suggested.
“I don't want a company like that. I want a company that is entirely mine, so I don't need to ask others for approval for my decision.”
“But I can't forgive your fiancee,” insists David.
“David.” Alex widened his eyeballs. “I sincerely beg.” He still didn't give up.
“This is not my problem. So I have no right to forgive Levina. He had to apologize to Lia.” himself
Alex breathes a sigh of relief. Although it was not easy to make Levina low, it was still easier when compared to not getting an apology from David. “Good. I'll tell him that. After you give this phone to Lia, have her contact me directly so Levina can contact her later.”
