12. SEASON 2: Meet Alex

On David's victory, Mula prepared a big party for him. Famous and wealthy businessmen became his invited guests. Even Alex, who David hadn't heard from for a long time, was also in the middle of the party. The presence of the man instead made some questions embedded in David's mind.

From a distance, David sees Alex and Levina talking to Rico and Sofia who are holding Dodik. I don't know what they're really talking about, but they look so familiar. As if they had met before. Seeing all that, David became reminded again of the past. Four people had gathered in the past; not Sofia, but Amelia; and not Rico, but herself. There were no children at the time. David hasn't even planned it.

After Sofia and her family leave, David walks up to Alex.

“Do you think the same as me?” ask Alex first when David just stopped his steps. Alex did not even give David a greeting after not seeing each other for six years.

“What do you mean?” ask David.

“She is very similar to Lia, like a betel in two. I thought you'd be surprised to see it,” Alex replied.

“I thought the same thing to you.”

“I was also surprised when I first saw her three years ago. But the woman said that she was Sofia Caramella, a former famous model in Indonesia.”

“So you've met before?”

Apparently everyone already knew about Sofia. Not just Alex, but a lot of people in Indonesia as well. Sofia is not Amelia. Sofia was already here and was known to the public when Amelia was still with her.

“Then what about your company? What goes smoothly?” ask David.

“At last I decided to invest my shares. Like you said, it's not easy running the company like my dream.”

Besides David, actually from afar there are also others who pay attention to the meeting of Alex, Levina, Sofia, and Rico; namely Mula and Dagel. Started surprised to see it. However, he was already used to that calm face of his, so no one was aware of his true face.

“Find out more about Rico Bintara's wife. Find out also why we never know it,” said Mula to Dagel.

The party is over. Place starts to slip. One by one the invited guests left until there were few workers and David there. David had intended to leave. Not only exactly, David was very sure that the bracelet was indeed the bracelet he gave to Amelia. Actually David did not find it at the airport, but rather ordered it. There is only one bracelet in the world.

In David's mind, there was only one person who was unthinkable: Sofia. Although she is a model mentioned by Alex once lived in Indonesia, while at that time Amelia was with David, somehow it could happen, he said, but there was no way the model would hold Amelia's bracelet. David becomes convinced that Sofia is Amelia. It was thought, however, that it was impossible for anyone other than Sofia to take him because Amelia lived a single life and had no family. David got out of the building and drove his car. He went to Sofia's residence.
