The night is late. After the work at the restaurant was done, Amelia did not go straight home. He was thinking of breathing new air somewhere else. He went on foot along the highway.
The night wind that was blowing fiercely approached Amelia and stroked her. Then the wind left a fresh taste. Amelia was relieved. He was not tired even though he had walked very far.
From far away, Amelia sees a familiar black car. Although she had not seen him for a long time, Amelia's memory was strong enough that she could not forget him. It was David's car.
The car was headed towards Amelia. Amelia became nervous. He wasn't sure what he was really worried about. Whether it's anxiety or habit.
Suddenly the car stopped at a distance of approximately five meters from Amelia. The car door was open. Amelia turned to hide herself.
Long enough Amelia turned around, but there was no reaction whatsoever from David. There was no way the man had left because his car had not been turned on. Slowly, Amelia ventured to turn around to see the situation. But there was no David around. There was only David's car parked there. Then where is that guy?
Amelia walked over to the car. There was nobody in the car either. Then he looked towards the buildings that were on the side of the road. He began to second-guess which building the man had visited.
When she saw the inside of the building directly in front of her through the glass, Amelia saw David there. He was talking to a flower shop. Amelia immediately ran before the man finished his business. Amelia didn't really leave. He was just hiding in the other store.
From where she was hiding, Amelia saw David walk out of the flower shop shortly after. The man came out with a red flower and kissed it.
Amelia immediately turned around as the man walked to her car. He turned around until the man's car drove, even past him.
Amelia was flabbergasted considering what had just happened. Within such a close distance of five meters, how could David not see it? That's not possible. Amelia was convinced that the man was just pretending not to know her. Is it possible that David has forgotten?
The red flower looks like a rose. Why did David buy it last night? There was no way someone as rich as David would buy a rose now and give it to someone tomorrow. The flower will wither. Is it possible that David would give it to a woman? A woman, a rose, and a night. Isn't all that perfect?
If that's true, then David actually managed to get Amelia out of his heart.
‘It's been good, Amelia’, inner Amelia.
Of course it was indeed something good for Amelia. The man forgets her and will forever not bother her. The man was already happy and Amelia could start looking for her happiness.

Seeking happiness?
Amelia was not happy at all!
Amelia couldn't sleep last night. That night he kept on cursing David. After a long time finally meeting, the man increasingly makes Amelia's mind feel disturbed.
Although David …. Haha! Of course he wouldn't be like that. Why should he be distracted when he has a woman, a bouquet of roses, and one night.
