David had just finished his bath after work. He worked very hard in one day. He didn't even come home in time. He came home later than usual. Busyness will make him forget the words of Amelia that made him upset, but also regret.

David walked towards the door because someone rang the bell. At first he was astonished to never get a guest in his apartment, let alone this night. Guests will usually meet him at the hotel.

Alex is coming. David could have guessed that the man would start meddling in his affairs.

Because of being the third child in his family, Alex does not have a heavy burden from his family. His family even freed the man to open his own restaurant. Of course Alex doesn't have much of his own business. Therefore he always tried to interfere in the affairs of his friends.

Although reluctant to meet Alex, David still opens the door. Alex is the boss where Amelia works and the only friend of David who knows Amelia. Of course David will need his help a lot.

“Why are you here?” david asked after opening the door for Alex.

Alex did not answer. He was busy exploring every corner of David's apartment. Then he sat down on the couch without waiting for David's welcome.

“Wah, your residence is not as good as I thought it turned out,” said Alex judging.

David just glanced. He was busy preparing drinks.

With no answer, Alex looked back. “You have a luxury hotel, but why don't you occupy it?” ask Alex

“It's none of your business, you know,” said David as he served his drink to Alex.

“If you don't like staying in your hotel, then at least buy a house. That will keep your family's wealth rating.”

“Thank you for the suggestion.”

“How did you know that was advice?”

David quiet. He doesn't want to answer that shit anymore. Finally the mood became quiet.

“Lia says you're not her boyfriend,” Alex says suddenly.

It was the word that finally caught David's attention. The man looked. “He himself said it?” ask David.

Without waiting for David to answer, Alex was already laughing. He already knows the answer.

“What does he also say that?” ask David. David was desperate.

“I just guessed it.”

David felt more relieved.

“Wah, David, David.” Alex clapped his hands. “For the first time you love women, but you've been rejected,”.

“Stop. I'm not in a good mood to ridicule.”

“So what's your next plan?”

“He won't see me again. Then what should I plan? My story and he's done.”

“So you'll give up that easy?”

“I don't give up as easily as you think. I've been trying.”

“If you stop now, it means you prove what he thinks of you. You should be trying to change it.”

“Why should I try to change myself? What is wrong with me? I was never wrong. He's the one who always blames me.”

“Really?”

That's not true. If David believes he's right, he won't stay in the car, waiting for Amelia to come home in front of the restaurant, just like the next day.

Calmly finally came to Amelia after all this time. He could return to work quietly, like the days before meeting David. David doesn't come to the restaurant anymore and Alex won't fire him. Unfortunately the cruel line between him and David is still connected. That's why Amelia's calm only lasted one day. The next night, David's black car is found parked in front of the restaurant where Amelia works.
