39. To Watch You 3

Although Amelia slept alone last night, when she woke up, Amelia was shocked to find David beside her. He touched his body. He was still wearing his bath coat. That means nothing happened last night. Where did David go?

Amelia woke up. Without washing his face first, he came out of the room. He thought David really didn't come back last night, but he didn't, David came back either last night or this morning.

Lots of food filled the dining table. David had come back and prepared all that for Amelia. Amelia approached the food and sat on the chair preparing to enjoy it.

A letter was left there. Amelia also read it.

I'm sorry, I can't accompany you to breakfast.

You can do anything here, but never get out of here without being with me. I'm afraid of losing you.

I have never met any woman with a rose and I have never brought another woman here. That's why you won't find women's clothes here.

Disappointing, right? Since I never slept with another woman, you were forced to wear my men's clothes.

Oh, ja. Wait for me. We'll have dinner together after work.

Amelia smiled reading it. Apparently David did see her that night, when David bought a bouquet of roses at the florist's shop, and David knew that Amelia saw it. Worried that Amelia misunderstood, David explained in the letter.

After she finished eating, Amelia rushed into the room. He ransacked the entire wardrobe that David had and took out a pair of clothes.

Alex said that the David family is one of the richest families in Indonesia. After seeing the place David lived in, no one would think so. The man only lived in a two-room apartment. She did not have a workspace or a special wardrobe.

For the umpteenth time David felt that time was going very slowly. He did not focus on his work because he repeatedly looked at the numbers on his watch. When the work time is over, David quickly headed to the car park and immediately took his car to drive.

Just out of the parking area, David briefly saw the familiar face of a man. It was Gerald Mario. Apparently the man has not given up.

David sped up his car. After driving far enough, he stopped his car to contact his secretary who still had not returned to work.

"I saw the bugger again."

"The one who insisted on meeting me yesterday."

"Take care of him because I'll have dinner there later."

Finished saying what he wanted to say, David decided on his call. Then he re-applied his car.

"What else does the troublemaker want? I gave him what he deserved. Hopefully he doesn't try to mess up my business or he really won't be able to mess up other people's business anymore" David murmured.

Arriving at the apartment, Amelia welcomes David in David's clothes. David only realized that the woman was really thin to make David laugh because it did not fit his clothes.

Unlike David who laughed and remained relaxed, Amelia instead felt anxious.

"Are we really going to have dinner outside with me wearing this?" Amelia showed me her clothes.

Amelia knew that the clothes she was wearing were inappropriate for dinner outside. However, she could not buy any other clothes or take her clothes because David forbade her from leaving the apartment.
