PRESS CONFERENCE 1

DAVIS POV

 

This morning in the office lobby already looks crowded atmosphere. Many journalists from various media went back and forth to the hall where the press conference was held.

After parking my car, I rushed into the building. My footsteps were as if excited as my heart was not doing well. I don't know why, I feel like something bad is going to happen. Several times I let out a long sigh and threw it away violently. Today I feel uncomfortable in my office.

After passing through several employees who of course they greeted me, now I was in my room. I opened several maps of project approval sheets that would be run by investor companies. Although it is still too early to start work, but it would be nice if I could focus on the work and forget the hardness of my heart just for a moment.

Realizing that there was something I needed to do about the project, I called someone immediately.

“You're already in the office?”

“Already, Pak” replied someone across there.

“Come to my room now!”

The person I called was in my room. We discussed the peculiarities of the project report that I am currently holding. He also realized my intelligence.

“Then what do you think?” ask him after we had a long and wide discussion.

 "We need to review to the location, Pak” I strongly agree to his suggestion.

“Do we need to postpone it or not?” I just want to test it. 

“Faster is better. Fear will all happen if not immediately we prevent, sir!”

“Good. Hurry over. We're leaving now!” I immediately stood up and allowed him to immediately prepare himself for the business trip this time.

Although it seemed sudden, but I did it not because I avoided the situation but because for the sake of saving the company.

In our family, even though we have a busy life, we always try to stay compact in the face of problems. We try to help each other and support each other. Likewise, when this time Dave faced the problem of a romance scandal. 

Knowing my departure from the office, Mommy went berserk. He scolded me long enough. Although his anger was deafening, but I accept it. It's for the common good. Honestly, I don't want to hear Dave's proposal to the woman he loves. From Dave's sister last night, I can guess who that woman is. Although I know for sure that woman does not necessarily have the same feelings as him, but with what Dave has, I think it is not difficult to break his heart.

DAVE POV

Mommy, Daddy, Opa, Jess have gathered in my room. Waiting for the time for the press conference, we purposely gathered together to strengthen each other. As Mommy's phone rang, Mommy was immediately enraged by someone across the street. I just found out that Davis wasn't in our midst. Mommy repeatedly uttered words that showed anger at someone I finally knew was Davis. Mommy has always instilled a soul of togetherness in our family. He always strives to be in the middle of the family both in joy and sorrow. And so is his hope for his children. When he found out that Davis was going out of town on the grounds of solving a company problem, he was angry because he thought Davis did not support me.

Several times I sent a message to Teddy to make sure that the family of someone I love is on the spot on time. I also asked him to make sure Marlyn came on time and also gave a real statement.

My heart was beating when the time was nearing the schedule of the press conference. I don't know, I'm pounding because I'm going to meet a lot of people out there or because of something else.

I set foot on Teddy who was standing not far from my desk. My hands are cold and sweaty. I felt my body also rage, until I subconsciously loosened the circular tie around my neck. Jass that has been installed neatly, I immediately separated and I attached it to the work chair.

“Ted, all already in his position?” I whispered when I was near him. Teddy did not answer, he only replied by forming a thumb and index finger like a letter zero.

“Dia?” ask me again to make sure someone.

“Already in the conference room” the answer is short.

My forehead is wrinkled, I can't believe she wants to be there. To my knowledge, she wouldn't want to deal with something that wasn't her business, but I don't know what tricks Teddy used to get her there. Yeah, he's someone I'm going to apply to today. She doesn't even know how I feel, or maybe she knows but doesn't want to know. I don't know. 

“Master, all are ready” someone who suddenly entered my room gave information that everything was ready.

I took a long breath. Trying to breathe as much oxygen. Hoping that this will decrease because the oxygen I breathe has filled the chest cavity. I nodded, then the man escorted me and all my family members towards the hall.

The originally excited move suddenly squeezed. My fingers were clutched together, cold, and slightly shaking. Maybe people won't believe it, I'm used to dealing with problems and people, can do this. Right now, we have entered the hall from the back door, right behind the stage. Mommy and Daddy were holding my right and left shoulders as if understanding the nervousness of this son. I turned towards them, tried to smile, and they replied with a smile and a nod of the head.

After a long sigh, I set foot up the stairs leading to the back stage. There were some of my men there ready to open the stage door for me. After getting a signal from me, they finally opened the door to me. I took a breath and set my foot back. As I entered the main room, on the stage, boisterous sounds and applause greeted my arrival. Blitz cameras come in alternately. Although glare eyes, but I try to maintain my authority.
