Today Lathifa does not have a lecture schedule, she also gets a sentence from her husband that forbids her from leaving the house without permission from Alwi.
So Lathifa decided to spend her days just at home, shutting herself up in her room and starting to wander in her imaginary world. Following his hobby that had been neglected in the last few days, namely writing his online novel that some days he had not updated the latest chapter because of his busyness in the real world.
Even Lathifa forgot her lunch time because she was too focused on the computer in front of her.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
“Log in!” lathifa replied a little screamed.
Mbok Ijah went into Lathifa's room after being invited by the owner.
“Mbak, it's been 2 hours more. Should Mbak Lathifa eat first yes, or want to mbok Ijah bring food to the room?” ask mbok Ijah politely.
“Eh, no need, Mbok.” Lathifa stopped her fingers dancing beautifully on her laptop keyboard and turned to look at Ijah who was talking to her.
“But Mbak Lathifa has not eaten, this morning Mbak Lathifa also only ate a little.” Mbok Ijah persuaded Lathifa.
“Mbak Lathifa also did not drink her milk. Later mbak Anisa angry loh,” persemat mbok Ijah who saw Lathifa did not move in the slightest.
“Yes thank you, Mbok. Later I will take it myself, Mbok Ijah do not need to drive him to the room,” replied Lathifa politely. “Mbok Ijah if there is no work rest only,” he added.
After Ijah left, Lathifa refocused on her laptop and forgot what Ijah said to her.
Elsewhere, Alwi felt unfocused on his work. He had a shadow on the face of his young wife who had been interfering with his thoughts since yesterday.
“Astaghfirullah, Alwi! Focus, don't think about that naughty girl!” alwi said firmly commemorating himself.
Alwi felt angry at himself who could not control his emotions, he then rubbed his face rough with both hands.
“Huft!” Alwi sighed violently then leaned his back on the back of his chair and closed his eyes.
After feeling a little calm, Alwi grabbed his cellphone which had been lying on the table and opened it.
He looked at the figure that filled his cellphone screen, the figure of the woman who had always accompanied him no matter what the circumstances, willing to be patient and sincerely serve him wholeheartedly even though he often made his woman cry in silence.
“What should I do, baby? Don't torture me with this request of yours, I can't help but hurt you again, Anisa.”
Alwi rubbed the screen of her phone, as if the picture was the face of Anisa who was smiling in the shade staring at him.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
Alwi heard the door of his room on tap from outside, he was sure it must be his secretary.
“Log in!” alwi shouted to let the person outside knock on the door of his room which Alwi guessed was definitely his secretary Iwan.
Chequek!
Iwan entered the Alwi workspace after saying his greetings.
“What's up?” ask Alwi.
“Sorry sir, I just want to give you the file you asked for a meeting with Sanjaya Group later this afternoon,” replied Iwan politely.
“Have you fixed everything?”
“Already, Sir.” Iwan handed the file in his hand to Alwi.
“What more can I help you with?” ask Iwan before leaving.
“No, thank you, Wan. You can go out,” said Alwi staring at the writing printed clearly on the cover of the file that reads ‘Sanjaya Group’.
“Huft!” Alwi again sighed harshly making Iwan stare in wonder at her.
“Emh, do you need anything?” Iwan asked worriedly, rarely did he see his superiors that looked not enthusiastic at work.
“No, Wan. You just continue your work!” alwi orders, he does not want to trouble his employees even though he really does not want to attend the meeting. But what can be done, Iwan will not be able to replace him to attend the meeting.
“Why are you still not out, Wan?” alwi asked astonished to see that his secretary was still standing in his place.
“Sorry if I look presumptuous, sir. Are you okay, Father? Your face looks a little pale, or do you want me to reset the meeting schedule with Sanjaya Group?”
“No need, Wan. I'm fine, thanks for worrying about me.” Alwi reassured his secretary and told Iwan not to worry about his condition.
“Then I say out, Sir.”
“Hmm,” reply Alwi briefly.
After the death of his secretary, Alwi again looked at the file in front of him. He still hesitates whether to attend the meeting or not, but not as an Alwi businessman must be professional and put aside his personal problems.
At exactly 5 pm, Alwi left his office and decided to go to the 'Swiss Hotel' sooner than the promised time. He will perform magrib and isya prayers at the mosque of the hotel while waiting for the arrival of Mr. Sanjaya.
He hoped that Mr. Sanjaya could come early and the meeting could be advanced so that Alwi did not need to linger there especially if Mr. Sanjaya came with his daughter, Alwi would definitely not feel comfortable in the slightest.
At the entrance Alwi was greeted by waitresses in uniform and neat appearance welcomed the guests who arrived. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very crowded by visitors what else is a night on the weekend.
“Good night, Sir. Welcome to Swiss Resto, hope you are satisfied with our service, can I help you?” ask one of the friendly waitresses to say hello to Alwi.
“I have an appointment with Mr. Sanjaya,” replied Alwi flatly.
“Please follow me, Sir. I'll take you to the room on behalf of Mr. Sanjaya,” said the waitress.
Alwi followed the steps of the waitress who led him to the meeting place without saying anything.
Although the restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel building, but the restaurant has 2 floors in it. The lower floor is filled with open tables, while on the upper floor there are separate rooms commonly used for important meetings of several companies.
Arriving at the intended room, Alwi did not get the existence of anyone, either Mr. Sanjaya or a representative of the Sanjaya Group.
Alwi sat in one of the available chairs, not how long a waiter delivered drinks to him even though Alwi had not ordered anything.
“Sorry, I have not ordered a drink,” said Alwi who thought the waiter had delivered it wrong.
“Sorry, Sir. Is this room really on behalf of Mr Sanjaya?” ask the waiter to make sure.
“True,” replied Alwi briefly.
“Sorry, then this drink is for you,” said the waiter.
“So Mr. Sanjaya all ordered to deliver drinks if his guests have come,” explained the waiter when he saw the confused face of Alwi.
“Oh, thank you.”
“Sama-sama, Sir. Is there anything you want to order again?” ask the waiter before leaving the room.
“No, I will order later after lord Sanjaya arrives.”
While waiting, Alwi took out a small mushaf that he always carried in his briefcase and began to read it.
30 Minutes passed, but Alwi did not see the presence of Mr. Sanjaya. The promised time passed a few minutes ago.
Alwi was worried between going to continue waiting or just leave the place.
But in hindsight, wouldn't it be rude if Mr Sanjaya arrived and Alwi wasn't there? The impression Alwi is impatient once, it will tarnish his good name.
“Why hasn't Sanjaya arrived yet? Unlike usual Mr. Sanjaya will be late, even he did not send a message to me at all,” said Alwi as he glanced at the watch on his wrist.
15 Minutes passed, but Mr. Sanjaya had not yet seen his presence. Almost an hour Alwi waited for his client, if not for Raiyan who was outside the city, Alwi would not want to come to this place.
Alwi who felt thirsty grabbed the glass that had not been touched earlier.
“Bismillah,” said Alwi softly and then sipped the liquid in the glass.
Gluey! Gluey! Gluey!
“Alhamdulillah,” lirihnya feel relieved because his throat did not fuse earlier.
“What is lord Sanjaya still long huh?” ask him to yourself.
Feeling that he had waited long enough, he saved his mushaf and changed to take out the files that he had prepared neatly so that if Mr. Sanjaya came everything was ready.
Tik tok tik tok ...
As time went on, Alwi began to feel annoyed. The time was wasted waiting for the arrival of Mr. Sanjaya who had no news at all.
“Do I just go? Even I could not contact Mr. Sanjaya,” complained Alwi, he then decided to repackage the file and put it in the bag.
At the same time, Alwi started to feel strange on his body. His heart was pounding faster than usual, his vision was slightly clouded and his head felt dizzy as if the entire room was spinning irregularly.
‘Astaghfirullahaladzim.’ Alwi repeatedly beristigfar in his heart trying to dispel the feelings of anxiety in his heart.
He quickly grabbed his bag and hurriedly walked towards the exit.
Prangs!
Accidentally he nudged the glass on the table making it fall and break on the floor.
“Yes Allah!”
Alwi shook his head repeatedly trying to regain his consciousness, faintly he heard the sound of a door opening from outside.
Chequek!
“You!” alwi shouted to the person who had just entered the room.
“Hai, long time no see,” greet the man with a triumphant smile on his face.
