Lathifa walked with wide strides down the hallway to the parking lot, although now her more feminine appearance she could not remove her tombo nature.
Lathifa wanted to go home immediately before Bryan's arrival who always confronted her on the road.
During the last two months, Bryan often met him, often even invited him to just accompany him to coffee or chat.
Although Lathifa always managed to avoid various reasons and even said that she was married, but Bryan never believed her, he thought Lathifa was only joking
“Lathifa!”
Lathifa was running even faster, ignoring the person who called out to her.
Lathifa arrived at the parking lot, her hands were busy looking for the car keys in her bag with the position still running.
When Lathifa was about to open the door of her car, someone held her hand and pulled her, making Lathifa turn her body to face the person.
“Lathifa, Why do you always shy away from me?” ask the guy.
“Sorry, I have to rush home.” Lathifa tried to remove her hand from the person's grasp but to no avail.
“Just a minute! I just want to talk to you about something, come with me!”
“Sorry, Bryan. I told you I can't.” Lathifa rebelled trying to let go of her hand.
“Just a minute, Fa!” bryan raised his voice.
“Sorry Bry, I told you, I'm married.”
“Do not lie! I will not believe, where is the proof if you are married?”
Bryan pushed Lathifa's body until her back was stuck to the car door, then Bryan clipped Lathifa's body and locked her with both of Bryan's hands attached to the body of the car.
“What do you do?” lathifa asked, her hand holding onto Bryan's huge body with all her might.
“Do not sell expensive! How much do you need?” Bryan drew his face closer to Lathifa.
“I'm not that kind of woman huh!” lathifa exclaimed making some students turn their heads towards them.
Her courage appeared in front of the man, unlike when dealing with her husband. Lathifa continued to try to push Bryan's body away from him, but his strength was not comparable to Bryan's energy.
“Gue will never let go of lo!”
Bryan brushed off the distance between them, Lathifa rebelled by banging Bryan's body, but the man was not at all bothered.
Bryan was getting mad, he was about to land his lips on Lathifa but someone pulled him violently.
Bugh!
A punch landed on Bryan's cheek.
“Damn it! Brengsw! Who lo?” bryan annoyed with a reddened face and wiped away the red liquid at the corner of his lips.
“Lo the brengs*k, keep your manners! This campus is not a place to channel your passion!”
“Do not interfere in my affairs!”
Bryan was about to throw a punch at the face of the person who was interfering with his activities, but a security guard held his hand.
“Please don't make a fuss here!” the security warning.
“Ck! Damnit damnit! Disturb me!” angry Bryan.
“Please you go from here while we still do it in a good way.”
Bryan had to leave there because there were already many people crowded around the place.
Bryan walked up to his car and contacted someone after sitting behind the wheel.
“Where?”
‘Beres.’
“Gue don't want to know, you have to set a plan so I can get the girl!”
‘deploy everything the same I.’
“Okay. I believe in you the same. Don't let you disappoint me!”
‘Quiet Bro, will I do anything for lo.’
“Send all those photos to me!”
While at Lathifa's place, everyone dispersed from the crowd as well as the security that broke earlier.
Now only Lathifa and the man who helped her were left.
“You okay?” ask the man.
“Thank you, Brother.” Lathifa confirmed her slightly messy hijab.
“Sama-sama, it is our duty to help each other, is not it?”
“If there are no Yoga sisters, I do not know what will happen to me,” Lathifa said with relief.
“It just so happened that I passed around here and saw you being bullied by that man. And I called security. You want to go home?”
“Iya, Brother.”
“Can go home alone?” tanya Yoga who looks worried because she saw Lathifa's slightly pale face.
“God can, brother. Once again thank you yes,” said Lathifa and then get in her car.
Yoga stood staring at the departure of the car driven by Lathifa, the woman who had been quietly filling her heart.
...*****...
Alwi sat on the sofa in his room with his young wife, his hands busy dancing on the laptop keyboard in his lap. Every now and then he glanced at Lathifa who was sitting at the study desk busy with her laptop.
It has been 2 months since the incident that their relationship has not improved. Alwi increasingly felt awkward dealing with his wife, let alone seeing the change in Lathifa's attitude that always dodged and indifferent to him. Only speak if asked.
“You're not finished?” tanya Alwi closed her laptop and tidied the papers on the sofa.
“Not yet,” replied Lathifa briefly.
“Continue tomorrow only, it's night you should sleep.”
“If you want to sleep, sleep first,” said Lathifa turned to her husband.
“Until when will you behave like this?” Alwi stood up and kept his laptop on the nightstand.
“You're not a child anymore, Lathifa.” Alwi walked closer towards Lathifa who remained focused with her laptop.
“Enough Lathifa! If I have something wrong with you, tell me what's my fault? Don't you silence me like this.”
Lathifa ignored her husband standing next to her, knowing that his attitude was wrong. But his ego wants him to do this.
Alwi sighed harshly, trying to add to his patient supply to deal with his sulking wife.
“Let's wake up, tomorrow again you continue writing your novel!”
Without permission, Alwi closed Lathifa's laptop, making the owner turn the eyeballs and stand up to step towards the bathroom.
Alwi looked at the back of his wife wrapped in a sleeping robe complete with her hijab.
“I'm sorry, Lathifa. Maybe it's too big a wound I've inflicted on your heart. I will try harder to improve our relationship,” Alwi, then sit on his bed.
Lathifa came out of the bathroom and rushed up onto her bed without even turning her head towards her husband.
“You're mad at me?”
“No.”
“Then what is this? Ye know? It is illegal for a wife to silence her husband for more than three nights.”
“I've never silenced you.”
Alwi stared at Lathifa's body wrapped in a blanket behind him.
“Lathifa, Will you be patient with me? Give me a chance to mend our relationship.” Alwi paused his sentence, he stared at his wife's regularly moving back.
“Forget past events, we started everything from scratch.”
Lathifa remained silent, not responding to her husband's words.
“You've slept?” Alwi waited for a while, but still there was no response from his wife. Then he laid down his body and pulled out a blanket to cover his body.
“Good night, may Allah always protect you, Lathifa.” Alwi closed his eyes and fell asleep in his sleep.
On the bed next to Lathifa pulled her blanket over her head, she bit her lower lip hoping to keep the stuffing from escaping from her mouth, even though her tears had fallen soaked the pillow.
‘Sorry, I've been trying to be a good woman for you, I understand your circumstances, I'm trying to understand your nature. But my heart always asks, deserve me to be with you while in your heart stored someone so perfect, the woman you love so much. If you can, I don't want this feeling present in my heart, don't blame me if I've always avoided you, instead I hate you, don't, but there is a heart I must keep from getting too hurt if this feeling is finally unrequited. Let this taste grow in my silence.’
