Due to the power outage, they could not use the elevator, forced to use the stairs to get down from the eleventh floor.

Shen Yuan had wanted to use the toll road to go outside the city. But when he saw the toll gate from a distance he paused his intention, because a long traffic jam also occurred on the toll road. So Shen Yuan decided to go outside the city through the road that was on the edge of the city.

After reaching the outskirts of the city, congestion is increasingly rare until finally only one or two cars are seen on the highway.

Since the area was still safe and there had been no signs of a zombie appearance, Shen Yuan decided to stop at one of the convenience stores by the roadside. He intends to supplement their supplies that are still lacking.

After entering the shop, Shen Yuan started picking up the items he needed.

Shen Yuan bought ten liters of mineral water, canned beef, ham sausage, two boxes of biscuits, and a large pack of dried jerky. There are also four flashlights, a battery, ten rolls of toilet paper, bath soap, mouthwash, a folding knife and even a thick blanket.

After paying him, Shen Yuan even with 'kindness' warned the seller.

"You better get out of here soon."

After he dropped the sentence, Shen Yuan immediately left without giving them a chance to ask why.

After arranging the items in the car, Shen Yuan picked up a blanket. He arranged the back seat and asked Feifei to sleep there.

"Sleep in the back seat. You haven't slept this whole day." After saying that, Shen Yuan gave the blanket he was holding to Feifei.

"What about dad?" Feifei asked as he rubbed his eyes, clearly very sleepy.

Lovingly, Shen Yuan stroked his head, "Dad still has to drive."

"alright. Good night, father."

"Good night."

Shen Yuan drove all night, only when the car ran out of gas did he stop at the gas station. As he was about to get out of the car he heard Feifei's voice.

"Dad..."

"Hey, honey, you're awake?"

Feifei only replied faintly, typical of people waking up. Feifei's face still looked puzzled, before he finally looked at his surroundings, he was already fully awake.

"Want to drink?"

Then Shen Yuan handed him a bottle of mineral water, Feifei drank a few sips.

Then Feifei asked, "Where is this?"

"At the gas station. This car is running out of gas" Shen Yuan replied. Then he added, "Want out looking? There's a minimarket."

Shen Yuan pointed towards the SPBU minimarket. Feifei nodded and got out of the car.

After filling up the gas to the brim, Shen Yuan accompanied Feifei to the minimarket. But the minimarket situation is very sad, it looks clear as if it has been looted by several people.

The shelves of goods are upside down, all things mixed into one. There's not much stuff left. But Shen Yuan managed to find a cardboard of jelly, yogurt, canned milk and some apple sweets, which he immediately handed to Feifei's embrace.

Shen Yuan himself took out 3 empty jerry cans, which he immediately filled with gasoline. Then he tied the jerry cane in the back of the car.

Shen Yuan decided to rest and have breakfast while at SPBU. Shen Yuan chose to eat the bread and added the beef dough on it. Then he opened a can of milk for Feifei. They eat quietly and not in a hurry.

There's only the two of them there. Because it was still early in the morning the atmosphere was very quiet. Shen Yuan looked at the gray sky, as several birds flew by.

Shen Yuan then looked at Feifei, he was crouching down and feeding the pigeons with some bread crumbs. The pigeons are also increasing in number. As the pigeons increased in number, Feifei looked confused because the bread he had was not that much.

Seeing his puzzled face, Shen Yuan chuckled. But suddenly, all the birds flew in unison. Shen Yuan became wary. Then he heard the sound of a broken twig, Shen Yuan immediately turned to the origin of the sound. Behind the shadows of the trees, waves of zombies walked towards them!

"Flamei! Feifei, get in the car now!"

Shen Yuan immediately shouted towards Feifei. The confused Feifei followed his father's point of view. He immediately shivered.

So many zombies!

Feifei ran into the passenger seat. Shen Yuan turned on the machine, but did not immediately leave.

"Dad? What's up?"

Shen Yuan replied faintly, "Wait a moment."

Zombies are getting closer and closer. Feifei began to worry but his father did not have the intention to leave yet. Until finally the zombies were only a few meters away from them, Shen Yuan stepped on the gas pedal. He crashed into the zombies in front of him and drove away.

To a certain distance, Shen Yuan stopped his car. He picked up a gun, and fired a bullet from the car window.

BOOMING

Bullets hit the petrol station and cause a huge explosion!

All the zombies burned to ashes.
